I just purchased a home with this system, does it need filter maintemce or anything ? We have been dying at home it's so hot and it doesn't seem to work at all?

there are no filters on the unit I purchased-- which was the top of the line --just the grid in the ceiling and to clean it you just brush it while the unit is on and the dust-dirt will be blown out into the attic--we love our system-- it works… Read more

Hi Jenn, thank you for bringing that to our attention. I believe we have fixed our phone lines if you would like to give us another call or feel free to message us your contact info and we will reach out.

What is the average time it takes to complete installation? And do you service OC?

I installed the es7000 using the 14-2 and 14-3 wiring video and my low speed does not work. There is a blue wire attached to the fan black wire when I attached the 14.3 black to the fan black/blue wire. Do I need to remove the blue wire?

ES 7000 is a two speed fan that requires direct power and based on what you wrote, it sounds like you may not have it wired correctly. You can call the manufacturer customer service at 951-325-6340 for assistance.

Do you guys service the San Fernando valley and do you guys give free estimates?

Joshua, Do you offer weekend installations? If so, I'm ready to install a whole house fan and I'm…

Yes, We do offer Saturday time slots for installations.

Brody was flexible with my limited availability, arrived on time, communicated clearly, and completed the entire job on my 1,300 sq ft home in just four hours. He and his apprentice Luke worked efficiently and quietly, protected the work areas, and left everything spotless. Brody also used a thermal imaging camera to confirm each wall cavity was properly filled, which gave me a lot of confidence in the workmanship. The results exceeded my expectations. The patched holes are barely noticeable--I was prepared for my walls to look like a cheese board, but they look great. Brody was honest, fairly priced, and delivered excellent service from start to finish. The insulation product itself impressed me as well. As a façade engineer, I understand the value of insulation, but I didn't expect to feel such a dramatic difference so quickly. Within hours, the heat inside my 1945 home dropped noticeably, making it far more comfortable during peak sun.

Brody and Evgenii were very respectful of our home and did an amazing job cleaning up after the foam insulation was inserted into our exterior walls. We are looking forward in making our home more engery efficient and also saving money on our electric bill. We would highly recommend Thermal Advantage of California to anyone looking to drastically improve the insulation of their home.

Just a warning, this review is going to be pretty long. But if you're thinking about reinsulating…read moreyour home, that's a pretty big task, so I'll add as much detail as I can to help you! Background: The credit for green energy was ending in 2025, and I had always wanted to reinsulate my home because it was so cold in winter and super hot in summer. I went through many different companies and seeing how people felt about them, and I saw a lot of horror stories. I called up a few companies and found out that insulation is kind of like roofing, where a sales person and a tech comes, where the tech looks around and the sales person tries to scare you into using their company right then. They might say something like "your attic is super hot" (that's normal, well, up to a point), or "we'll give you a special deal if you say yes right now". Just kind of shady stuff overall. One big thing that people mention is that while insulation is good, you need to airseal your attic as well - this was another thing I was looking to get done. Initial Meeting: So I was kind of expecting that when I called Attic Professional. Fortunately, that was not the case at all! From other reviews you might have figured that the owner, Bryan, is incredibly respectful and treats customers well. I got to experience that as well. One thing I was surprised at is he had inside shoes (the kind you see in Japan) and put them on and off when walking around the house. He went up into my attic and really dug around to look for issues like pests or mold (besides the poor insulation layers). We went around the home together to look for clogged vents. He didn't try to sell me on anything - I remember reading one review that said he didn't try to sell them things they didn't need, and that was my experience too. He said they could put more insulation in on my existing one, or take out the old one and put new one in; but neither would have a substantial difference. I went ahead and asked him to remove the old insulation and put new insulation in just for cleanliness. I even later changed my mind and asked for a custom insulation scheme - some fiberglass batting and mostly blown-in, and he had no problem accommodating that. Oh, and they would include airsealing gaps in the attic with fire resistant foam! Reinsulation: A few weeks later, he and his team brought his truck up to my house. They covered many surfaces with plastic drop cloth to prevent insulation from flying around - they taped doorways so I could come through, and they taped cardboard to corners in the house so their insulation blower tube wouldn't cause damage. They put canvas drop cloths on the floors to protect them. There was a bit of fiberglass and debris around after, but it was very, very minor. I understand how difficult it is to be flawless with cleanup, but these guys were very good. The work was smooth and quick - only a few hours. I didn't have to add much input and the team was in and out. Bryan left for another site for an hour or so, but everyone was just as respectful as Bryan, and they told me he was a very good person to work for. Always nice to see that the employees have a good opinion of the company as well. One thing that I thought was interesting is after they removed all the previous insulation, they let me look at the attic and see how they stapled their measuring tapes. Apparently, some insulation companies will scam their customers and fold up their measuring tapes so it shows more insulation than what's actually in there. I was able to verify myself that all the measuring tapes were correct. Bryan and I did a final check on the attic together and I was very happy. Above and beyond: A month or so later, I was very curious about the insulation and really wanted to optimize the house, so I got one of those FLIR guns (temperature sensor guns) to see if the attic was perfectly insulated. As expected there were a few spots that had a bit of uneven insulation (after all, nobody's perfect), but for the most part everything was good. I sent Bryan a text about these spots, and he immediately he and his crew to come add some more insulation and pack it in. Now everything on the camera looks great. I think it's pretty rare to find such attention to quality, and I was very impressed. Results: In the San Diego weather by home would average 63 degrees when outside it was around 48. Now, the house never drops below 68, and it averages around 72 year round. When it's 85 degrees outside, it might be 76-78 inside. I've seen the temperature inside crack 80 maybe twice in the last year, and never seen it below 65. This is with no heater, no AC running EVER. So TLDR: I would completely recommend using Attic Professional for your insulation. Take a look at their price, but I find their quality far outshines anything I've seen, and I think I got a steal of a deal (with the now-removed credit sadly).

Told us what he saw and our straight up options. We knew what we wanted. We got a couple other quotes from other guys that were pushy with options and we knew they were giving us additional services even though it was obvious that there was no rodent activity in the attic. Bryan gave us a very competitive and reasonable price. His crew came, did the job, was super chill, and completed the job. House feels amazing now! After doing some research and consulting ChatGPT to better understand the symptoms, I concluded that the most likely cause was a failed dual-run capacitor. I also watched several YouTube videos showing that replacing the capacitor is generally a relatively simple repair. Although I considered replacing it myself, I decided it would be better to pay a reputable HVAC company to confirm the diagnosis and perform the repair. My wife spoke with a friend who highly recommended Integrity, describing the company as honest and trustworthy. Based on that recommendation and the company's excellent reviews, I scheduled a service call and agreed to pay the $125 diagnostic fee. The technician, Josh, arrived, and I explained that the condenser was operating but the fan was not spinning. I also told him that I suspected the capacitor had failed. Josh retrieved a test capacitor from his truck, disconnected the leads from the existing capacitor, and connected them to his test part. The entire process took about ten minutes. When he restored power, the condenser fan immediately began spinning. At that point, I was genuinely impressed. His quick test appeared to confirm exactly what I had suspected: the capacitor had failed. Since replacement capacitors generally retail for around $20, I assumed the repair would involve installing a new capacitor, with a reasonable markup for the part, labor, expertise, and company overhead. Instead, Josh listened to the fan and commented that it did not sound very good and appeared to wobble slightly. He then returned to his truck to prepare several repair options. He remained in the truck for what seemed like an unusually long time for what I believed was a straightforward capacitor replacement. Eventually, I walked out and told him that the amount of time being spent preparing a plan made me concerned that this was about to become a lengthy and expensive repair. I explained that this was not what I was looking for. Josh said he would be finished in a few minutes, so I returned to wait. When he came back, the first option he presented was to replace the capacitor for approximately **$1,000**. He then began describing another option that included replacing the condenser fan motor. That repair would have added approximately **another $1,300-$1,600** to the bill, on top of the capacitor repair. At that point, I stopped him. I told him that I had researched the capacitor and understood it to be a part costing approximately $20. I directly asked whether I was mistaken in understanding that I was being quoted $1,000 to replace a roughly $20 part. Josh responded by asking whether I had gotten that information from ChatGPT. I told him that I could not justify spending $1,000 to replace such an inexpensive part, even allowing for labor, expertise, insurance, overhead, and a reasonable profit. At that point, the proposed price changed. Josh explained that the original estimate involved a higher-quality or premium part. He said that if I wanted a standard capacitor instead, the repair would cost approximately **$500**, with the $125 diagnostic fee applied toward that amount. Feeling somewhat relieved that the price had dropped from $1,000, I tentatively agreed. Josh then went to his truck to retrieve the standard capacitor. Fortunately for me, he did not have one available. We therefore scheduled a return visit for the following Monday. After Josh left, I replayed the entire interaction and became increasingly uncomfortable with how the visit had unfolded. The test capacitor had already demonstrated that replacing the failed capacitor allowed the fan to operate. Yet the initial proposal was approximately $1,000 for the capacitor replacement, followed by a substantially lower price only after I challenged the estimate. I also looked up replacement fan motors compatible with my condenser and found them listed on Amazon for approximately **$100-$300**. I understand that retail part prices do not include diagnosis, professional installation, warranties, company expenses, or profit. However, that comparison made the proposed additional charge of $1,300-$1,600 for the fan-motor replacement even more difficult for me to understand. Rather than wait until Monday, I went to Home Depot and purchased the correct capacitor for **$21**. After reviewing the replacement procedure again, I installed it myself in approximately ten minutes. The condenser fan immediately began spinning, and the air conditioner cooled our home normally, just as it had before the capacitor failed. I called the company and canceled the follow-up appointment. I want to emphasize that Josh was polite, personable, and easy to talk to throughout the visit.
