I really wasn't impressed. The chicken wings are warmed up in a wok with added seasoning. Which was a bit too salty for me. To top it off they were over priced, all flats, bruised and burnt. If I could definitely a 0 they honestly need to stop hiring teenage girls with horrible customer service. Super tasty and quick food. The service is always friendly, and one time the man I think is the owner saw us playing with a deck of cards, came out and proceeded to show us magic tricks! It was amazing. Don't think that will happen every time, haha, but it definitely encourages me to go back. A Perfect Storm of Failed Takeout Having lived all over the world, I have an extreme affinity for Asian cooking. So when we decided we wanted Chinese takeout this evening we ultimately came to regret our choice in this restaurant. After spending some $45.00 for takeout tonight June 2, 2017, we discovered that the rude, inept, and heavy-set female cashier shorted us 2 bags of our pricy food. This was not discovered until I got home, necessitating a return trip back to this restaurant, and of course the snotty cashier did not even apologize. I kept repeating that my 3 entrees were not packed up. And she wanted to argue with me after shorting my food order. I had to explain to this cretin what I meant when I told her she had shorted "3 entrees" And this woman works in a restaurant? OK, so this cashier is incompetent. I hoped that the flavor of the food would mitigate this initial fiasco. But that is not even the worst part of this takeout snafu. Specifics? Start my own lemon chicken entree, a styrofoam box full of dried out chicken coated in dried grease and panko crumbs. McDonald Chicken MacNuggets are actually fresher and better prepared than this horrible dish. The chicken was obviously not freshly cooked. The thinly-made lemon sauce was more like an afterthought and really tasteless. Even my dog did not want to eat this gruel. The Hot and Sour soup is a sad facsimile of a Chinese staple. Two small shrimp were the only seafood item swimming in the soup. The Egg Foo Yung was also not freshly prepared and appeared to have been cooked earlier in the evening. This dish was unfortunately as totally tasteless as the items above.. The Chow Mein Special had very little protein, consisting of small chopped up slivers of chicken and beef in a foul tasting sauce. Bottom line? Try Panda Express or Pick Up Stix. These two places at least have some basic standards where their own finished food product is concerned. Based on tonight's performance, Quik Wok does not have a clue. I will not be returning to this restaurant where the food is guaranteed to disappoint completely. read more
