I tried Church's and Bojangles, and was not impressed. I tried Golden Chick, and the chicken is tasty, but too expensive in my opinion. Well, my son recently told me that his co-workers told him that Spinx makes some of the best fried chicken in Greenville. When I think of Spinx, I think of gas, lottery tickets and snacks, but fried chicken?!?! Well, I'm a risk taker, so I ordered a 16 piece family meal of chicken and dinner rolls with a side of fried okra through Bite Squad. Everything was packaged neatly, and the chicken was piping hot. I could tell it was freshly made, and folks, I took that first bite, and I think tears came to my eyes and I saw chickens in the sky saluting this chicken. Fried to perfection, seasoned just right, juicy, tender, moist and addictive. I'm pretty sure I chewed each bite, I just don't remember because I ate so fast. It was just that good! The okra and rolls were tasty, but the chicken was the star of this meal. When I need my fried chicken fix, this shall be where I get it! I highly recommend you try this chicken. Like now...right now! Get in your car, call Uber or order through Bite Squad! Go!! Note : My son said his co-workers said to go to or order from any Spinx location except the one on White Horse Rd. They said that location doesn't do chicken right. Since I ordered from this location, this is the location I recommend. Now go!! :)

I want to state for the record, that I am not usually someone who leaves reviews on past employers because I don't care much and I'm quick to move past them. But the overwhelmingly negative experience that I had with Spinx, before I was even able to start working with them, has left me in utter shock. It's left me angry enough that I feel compelled to speak about it. Originally I posted this on Glassdoor, but it was removed from there after failing to pass verification, so I decided to take it here to Google Reviews. It got deleted off of there as well, which is pretty audacious to me, so now I'm taking it here. I requested a simple reschedule of my orientation as I had forgotten to bring my ID with me, which even though was a mistake on my end, should have not been grounds for immediately terminating me from the system without second thought. While I was at the office, I was told by my trainer that they would get back to me on rescheduling for a later time. I was informed that they would not hold anything against me, and that it's a simple mistake that anyone could make. I received a text the next day during the afternoon that the training manager declined my reschedule "request" and that they were proceeding with other candidates. I was not told that my reschedule could potentially be denied, and that I'd be dropped entirely. This was after I had already recieved a job offer in my e-mail and had accepted it, which is a complete bait and switch on the company's part. There has never in my entire life been an instance where I have been instantly terminated by a company for a simple and trivial human error like this. I attempted to call HR's office to speak with someone to see if I could have this unfair decision negotiated, and much to my dismay nobody answered the phone. I left an emphatic and heartfelt voicemail, promising that I'd show up the next time with all of my necessary documents to proceed with my training and employment. Nobody ever called me back. I called the Spinx location I would have worked for and I informed my manager of what had happened. He was appalled at what I told him, and in full agreement with me that the decision that they made was completely unfair. Although he tried to vouch for me upon contacting human resources, he was told that they were unwilling to reverse their decision. No other employer that I have ever worked for has done something akin to this. If there was a time where I might have forgotten something, I was given the patience that everyone should have and allowed to fetch my documents as quick as I could and then come back either on the same day, or the next day. If I was ever in need of rescheduling something, I was able to without being lied to my face and then discarded. I simply cannot help but think that, if you as a company were this willing to turn down a candidate that you already extended a job offer to because of a simple mistake, it makes me wonder the sheer extent of nitpicking that would have happened had I gone through the orientation process and went through with my employment. All the while I was offered only $12 per hour, which in this current economy is abysmal, though I still would have taken it regardless because it would have been more income than I am making right now with Doordash doing deliveries. My advice? Cut this kind of cutthroat behavior out. It's not a good look.

The only reason I decided to come…read moreto this gas station was because my mother-in-love and her husband got us a gift card from BP. Of course I was going to take advantage of this blessing. Unfortunately, this gas station turned out to be a curse. When I pulled up not a single car was at a pump. Did not think anything of it. Then I started to pump and just as Elle C. in the previous review correctly stated, the pump I was at was suuuuuuuuuuuper slow. I thought I'd be stuck there all afternoon. I was able to fill up the gas tank, but it was not worth the wait. Also, I noticed that the gift card was charged at the credit card rate and not the cash rate, which stunk, too. Needless to say I really hope my in-loves will treat us to another gas gift card eventually, but I also really hope it will be for a different gas station company. I don't think I could endure another visit to this one; such first-world problems, eh? And you never know, maybe the BP on Augusta Road, which is literally just a mile or 2 up the road and to the right has better working pumps, but I doubt it. Someone please go over there and let me know if those pumps are faster or if you had a wasted afternoon as well. Thankx and happy yelping!

    Zero stars would be the most appropriate rating for this particular BP station. First of all,…read morenothing ever works properly. Either the pumps are completely out of order, or they are dysfunctional and the nozzles intermittently shut off or pump fuel at a snail's pace. Despite the obvious shortcomings, I have continued to go to this BP because it is the only one near my house where I can cash in my fuel discount codes. However, after today's experience, I would rather just pay full price for gas elsewhere or drive completely out of my way to find another BP that participates in this discount program. Halfway into filling up my tank this afternoon, the pump just shut off for no reason and no more gas would come out. I went inside to tell the clerk that the pump had randomly stopped working and he proceeded to tell me that the pump probably quit working because I was using the fuel discount coupon on the expiration date. I wasn't buying that ridiculous explanation, so next he proceeds to tell me it's because the pump shuts off automatically because the coupon is only valid for a limited number of gallons. I pointed out that the coupon limit is 20 gallons and I had pumped NINE. So then, he prints out a receipt to show me that the transaction had gone through and so the pump was obviously working fine. Cool story, bro...but my tank is still only halfway full because pump number 8 is asleep on the job and if I switch pumps, I'm gonna lose my discount. He refused to acknowledge that something was indeed wrong with the pump and just kept trying to put the blame on me, so I finally just gave up and decided to take my business elsewhere to fill up the other half of my tank. Worst gas station ever and awful customer service to match.
