Not soda fountains and burgers old -- but the Gus's Drugs we used to have and then the old Eckerd's. Plus, the pharmacy is thoroughly modern and efficient. They've got everything you can imagine (or couldn't have imagined) on the shelves which always makes drug stores like this interesting to browse. Their neat shelves have everything from heated, vibrating foot massaging contraptions to ice cream treats. Greeting cards are offered in enormous variety. If you've got a fever and the only cure is more cowbell....well, they don't have cowbells. But probably a cow plush and 50 cures for flu and cold. THE PHARMACY is very good and offers steep discounts with insurance or various programs they can guide you toward. They use automated call/text for prescription arrivals and notice when it's been picked up. They also offer all seasonal shots. I find the staff courteous and quick to serve. I won't dock points for not having cowbells, but I'll look for Bluebell ice cream or a competitor next time I'm in as I find myself utilizing their convenience more frequently.
