Also they have the "good ice" from drinks. The food is delicious Tex-Mex. If you're from somewhere that hates that phrase keep moving. The food is well prepared and tastes great.

They have a very simple interior and menu, and we ordered a few items. The super Tostada, super taco, soft taco and their cinnamon sugar delights. Everything was LOADED. If you ever imagined eating food that looks directly out of a commercial, this place is it. The tacos were bursting at the seams. The Tostada required 2 hands. And it actually all tasted delicious. Like legit good. Our favorite was probably the soft taco flavor wise. It cost less than the super taco and had way more meat. A signature of this place seems to be topping with a ton of cheese, and none of us complained. Their hot sauce is really good too. We wrapped it up with their dessert item, and they were absolutely amazing. Freshly fried chips coated in cinnamon and sugar. Everything was fresh made and tasted like it. If youre looking for a Taco Bell equivalent but better in every way, this place is it. We were super surprised by how good it was.

Okay Culver's... I see you. Because this was redemption. My…read morefirst visit didn't do it for me, but this time? Whole different experience. The burgers were legit. Cooked to order, juicy and full of flavor. That buttered, toasted bun? Soft with just enough crisp to hold everything together without falling apart. And yes--everything that was supposed to come on the burger actually showed up. (We love consistency.) The mushroom and Swiss burger deserves its own moment. Those butter-sautéed mushrooms with garlic and seasoning paired with the Swiss cheese? Whew. That's the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-chew. Now the chocolate malt... listen. Thick, creamy, made with fresh frozen custard and real dairy--it didn't even make it to the "perfect picture" stage because I was already in it. It was that good. Friendly drive-thru service, minimal wait, and prices that didn't make me side-eye my receipt. Culver's came back strong on this one. And just like that... I'm back in.

Well we got doosie for yall!…read more Passing thru Hutto area and round rock... we saw Culver's and said let's do it! Culver's is smaller burger chain around Austin, we hit them up last Saturday around 6-7pm on 30May2026 (just in case management is trying to isolate the issue) It was busy but not crazy and we thought... oh yea... they are cranking out orders!!! This is a people review not a food review... it was just lame people stuff Running the drive thru was a 30 yo lady who looked like a 45 yo Daniel Cormier... 20 Minutes later (4 cars in front us) we get the food.. good enough! NOW... We want management to see what we see... Daniella (don't know her name, buzz cut hairdo) can't seem to figure out how to focus on taken orders and taking payment... we couldn't hear her because she had the mic too far away...instead focusing on work, she look like the star at a comedy show making everyone laugh... giggling and chatting with her coworkers standing next to her while asking us to repeat the same order 3 different times... It was as if Daniella was challenging the world to say something... she oozed the confidence only true irreverence and contempt for accountability can yield!!! She tried to portray a crash out vibe... lame! Her attitude and personality are a cancer to success... she's an individual who wants to run a team, but doesn't know what she wants to do in life... she doesn't want to be good at drive thru work, I know that... she is infecting your workforce and leading the charge to being the reason why people will continue to complain about your location until she is called out and retrained with a purpose or dismissed... Clearly Daniella is special and her thoughts and feelings are more important than the task at hand... So she shows up and entertains herself by making life difficult for paying customers while she's getting paid... I wish I knew her real name, she was truly a pill of a person... I'm sure you know exactly who I'm talking about... just because those types tend to get weird attention as she remains simply an observer of her own life... a passenger who watches the autonomous nature of her attitude play out through her self justified poor behavior.... Yea sad, she'd rather be rude and non compliant than have a positive impact in the moment for the benefit of being good at your job... Oh... AND we got food sick after... that's why the review!! Is it possible Daniella is the manager, so maybe this is just normal... I noticed similar reviews as mine...

I'm pretty sure that's what he says. Anyways, he eats at this burger drive-thru place called Top Notch. Thanks to this movie representing Austin so well, the movie and the restaurant became a cultural touchstone of the Texas capital. Fifty years later, Top Notch opened their second location in the middle of Hutto, Texas. I've been to the Hutto Top Notch location three times now. Once to try, once because of its convenience during an event, and once for lunch with co-workers. Each time, I've left with the same impression: it's alright, alright, alright. That's what the quote was. I remember now. I've only had their burgers. Twice, their cheeseburger, and yesterday, the Top Pick Burger. All things considered, it's a decent burger. There is nothing obscene or wrong with the burger. It's just a burger. The Top Pick Burger seems like it could be fun and special, but it's really just a worse burger compared to their cheeseburger. It's not bad, but I didn't find it a better replacement for a cheeseburger. Their menu has a lot more options than just their charcoal-broiled hamburgers. They have fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, seafood combos, and their Top Dog sandwich. Two hot dogs in a sandwich. Something I'd whip together if I was seeing stars off Benadryl. Their fries are pretty good, though pretty simple: skinny, crispy, and salty. Good fries. Their shakes are thick without it being a fight for my life to drink. I don't know if my lack of intense enjoyment was thanks to recently having Johnny Rockets and being more impressed with their attempts at crafting a retro '60s burger joint, but Top Notch is more or less Middle-of-the-Pack Notch.
