It's your average QT in a good location off the freeway! I'm knocking a star off for all the people that harass you for money. They're everywhere! Besides that the staff is friendly and the bathrooms are a hit or miss if they're clean or not. There's plenty of parking as well. Their food here is the same quality you can find at any QT. Their drink stations are well kept but their frozen drinks are a 50/50 chance that the one you want will be working. read more

The Quick Trip Employees can only do so much on their part to eliminate this issue. On one occasion I had someone walking towards the pump as soon as they saw me pulling in. I kept driving past them and the pump and drove across to the Shell right across the Street to avoid them. This store is always clean, and stocked. Employees are friendly and helpful. I have experienced this Quiktrip a few times and over the last 2 to 3 weeks I've stopped in looking for a fountain drink. However, they decided to clean all of their teas so there were no teas available whatsoever. They also had half of their fountain drinks closed off because they said they ran out of the syrup. Did you know you could rate gas stations? Well if you're reading this, then I'd say 'yes'. Regardless, I felt compelled to say a few kind words to Quik Trip. When QT moved into the valley, they upped the ante. Their stores are bright and clean and staffed by very friendly people, no matter which location you're at. They sell quality gasoline at a very competitive price, and have a great selection of snacks and drinks. In fact, their stores are so nice that their competition has been forced to tear down their older stores and re-build to offer something that is comparable to QT. And have you tried anything from their kitchens? (Their breakfast sandwiches aren't half bad!) Ever had a child with a restroom emergency? And you found the nearest convenience store with a single restroom in the back amongst a pile of broken down boxes and garbage? Yeah, those were the days. QT doesn't operate like that. The reason I rated the QT at 51st Avenue and I-10, is because it's the midway point between where I live and my friends in the west valley, so I frequent this location a lot. I am caucasian male resident of Phoenix. I truck drive for a local business and do frequent this location near 51 ave between McDowell/Roosevelt often. Majority of staff is personable and friendly and apparently they do a decent job at keeping the location clean. On October 20, 2020 an evening staff Manager name tagged (Tyler) is caucasian like myself. Tyler acted very inappropriately to what appeared to be a preselected peaceful bona fide negro patron. I was appalled by this (Tyler) manager's mannerism as I discreetly observed the unfortunate and what appeared to be unwarranted situation unfold from my close vantage point. Admittingly my ethnicity at times has granted what some may refer to as ''white privilege'. I suggest in these current changing/challenging times management be held to exhibit even greater respect and empathy for patrons of this diverse neighborhood who's currency is the force for the thriving location. I have gone to this place a lot of times before never bother checking in. Anyways its your standard quick trip but they have less tea's here. The cashiers are mostly friendly and very helpful. It's very convenient when it comes to accessibility since it's just right the corner of the highway but it also means that there will be more people and trucks around the area. This is the only Quik Trip in the entire Phoenix metropolitan area that is - like this one is. Remember, 1st off, that this is a truck stop - it has truck parking and numerous diesel lanes in the rear for semi's to fill up. First, the constant beggars. Can I have a few dollars for gas? Looking at the people, you adjudge they are more likely needing their next fix. Customer service. Several of the associates working at this particular location are extremely rude, including one David S, an "assistant manager", or so his name tag declares. This place does NOT exude the classic, awesome "customer first" attitude that all other QT's I have been to - which are quite a large number of them all over the valley - has come to be associated with. A lessor issue, but one that I am bringing up anyway because it affects me: no paper towels available on the truck fueling lanes. They have paper towels for those filling up with gasoline on the other side of the building, but for unknown reasons, they removed the towel dispensers on the trucking lanes. ??? I spent an average of $500 every time I go in there, I am pretty sure that there aren't any cars or even pickup trucks that come anywhere even close to that number. I use paper towels, like most other people, to clean my windows. There are no other truck stops in the area that do not have ample paper towels available on every single truck lane - Petro; Flying J; Loves even Liberty, that dive stop off of 59th avenue has towels! The sign: You must show your receipt on your way out. You see, if you pull into a trucking lane, you have to go inside the store and give them payment first. It's in the rear of the building. If you want to buy drinks and chips, you have to go to the front of the building. I don't mind going to the front of the building, that's not the issue. The issue is the sign saying you must show proof that you paid for whatever items you are carrying out by having to show your receipt to the attendant/s in the back on your way out. As if most truck drivers must be thieves is the only thing I take out of it. I had a manager demand my receipt today on my way out, the crassness of the way he demanded me show it to him was offensive. Showers. Most truck stops have showers for the drivers, this "truck stop" has none. Points card. Take Love's for instance, They give you a card - if you want one - that accrues points every time you fill up your truck. After yo get enough points, you can redeem them for all kinds of merchandise. QT has no such thing. I have a company fueling card, I can go to whatever truck stop I want to go to. QT has no significant savings over other truck stops in fuel prices and if you want the perks that many truck stops give, you aren't going to find them here. This is not a truck stop, in closing this. If you are an OTR driver, don't bother with this place. If you like good customer service regardless fo what you are driving, again: don't bother with this place. If you want classic QT customer service, well, I just suggest go to any other QT and you won't have a problem. read more

Here is another Mini-Mart, Like I have said before they are all basically the same, some might have more inventory, some might be more cleaner, and some might be in a better location? This QuickTrip gets 5 stars from me for great customer service! My sons and I filled up on gas, then went in to use the restrooms and pick out some snacks. The restrooms were large and well maintained. Service was quick and friendly. The best part of our visit was that when picking out a pastry and telling the staff that there was a fly landing on the products, they decided to remove ALL pastries from the display due to health concerns from fly germs. I'm not really worried about fly germs in particular, but it's nice to know that this QuickTrip cares about their customers enough to pull the product when needed. read more

I guess this is more of a 3.5 star review, but whatcha' gonna do? I've had to stop here at this QT twice now recently. Each time was a Thursday that I thought I could go from working on the South Side to driving all the way home to Goodyear on just a quarter tank of gas. In traffic. At 3pm. Being that I'm here, reviewing a gas station, we all know how that turned out. I stopped in, got my gas and was on my way relatively fast. The gas was cheap enough (considering anything under $3 in the last few years has redefined the meaning of the word, "cheap"). Getting out of here was a bit of a hassle being that people were all trying to get to the I10 before anyone else. I waited patiently, accidents aren't really my "thing," and was able to make it back onto the highway. read more

Being in security I am often out late at night at job sites with no bathroom facilities this means I have to find a nearby gas station or convenience store that is open. Whereas most circle k stores have restroom they are often dirty and poorly stocked. This is why I prefer QT. The bathrooms are always clean and the clerk at the register always has a hello. They don't even care if you are buying something or just using the restroom. This particular QT goes above and beyond on my opinion. I purchased a drink and smokes after using the restroom and started to leave without my change. The clerk chased me into the parking lot to give me my change. I stopped in at the location at 1155 N. 51st Avenue (51st. Ave. & McDowell) in Phoenix, AZ for water today a few minutes after 1 PM. I saw a great price for a gallon of water (1.49) according to how it was priced. When it rang up as 2.29 I informed the cashier of the error, who then proceeded to tell me in a condescending tone that the 1.49 price was "for the smaller size...this size is a gallon," seeming to imply that I didn't know what a gallon was, for no apparent reason. Being that I was in a hurry and there was only one cashier, I did not make a big issue and didn't bother to correct his mistake - the gallon size jugs were stocked in the freezer column clearly labeled 1.49. THIS IS THE 2ND ISSUE I HAVE HAD WITH THE QT FRANCHISE BY REGRETTABLY MAKING THE WRONG DECISION TO GIVE QT MY BUSINESS AGAIN. Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO ANY QT AGAIN. I will also be posting this incident on every social media page to which I belong, I will be informing and texting every one of my 500+ phone and email contacts, and will henceforth uss my negative experiences with QT as teaching lessons on consumer advocacy and addressing negative encounters as a consumer - and evidently to expect such treatment from QT - since apparently and evidently, QT hires employees who treat some customers in such a manner - Horribly! read more
