Check your food before you leave. Rock hard biscuits and grilled cheese wasn't grilled. Got back to work to eat and it was trashed.

I ordered a bowl, thinking, lower carbs/better option. I didn't exactly know what it would look like. The bowl consisted of a patty smothered in yellow velveeta colored cheese looking like it was made in a laboratory with a side of onions. The burger was noticeably low quality and the price was high, 13$? Not as good as I remember, actually , the worst burger I've had this decade.

The burger, fries and the shake hit differently and the fact that you can still load up a bowl of shelled peanuts, is just the cherry on top. The restaurant itself just always gives me that retro feeling of old American diner restaurants. Super nostalgic They definitely deserve their five stars! PS: we ordered at different times - lunch time as well as diner. They are consistent with their customers.

I began searching for a proper meal and happened upon Adela's Italian Restaurant, charmingly framed by coconut trees. I must admit, I nearly missed it at first glance, but what a magnificent little discovery it turned out to be. Parking was utterly effortless, which is always a pleasant start. While the establishment itself is intimate in scale, the interior boasts the most unique murals and a completely authentic, transportive Italian style. I chose to settle in at the private little bar, where the bartender looked after me with wonderful hospitality. After a delightful brief chat, I ordered the Caffe Adela. It was served in under five minutes impeccable timing, and the efficiency of the service was truly excellent. For lunch, I opted for the Spaghetti and Meatballs, a very reasonable $16 affair, while my colleague selected the Lasagna. The meatballs were prepared beautifully perfectly seasoned and absolutely top-tier. From the swift, attentive service to the charming ambiance, the entire experience was an absolute pleasure. It receives full marks from me, and I shall certainly make it a point to return the next time business brings me through Phoenix

Come for the Lasagna, Not the Candlelight Romance…read more We came here for a birthday dinner because we wanted to try something new, and by the end of the meal I found myself with two very different opinions: The food? Excellent. The ambiance? Let's talk about it. First, the good. The food was genuinely delicious. This feels like the kind of family-owned Italian restaurant where the focus is on what's coming out of the kitchen rather than what's hanging on the walls. Everything tasted like comfort food should; warm, satisfying, and made by people who care about the recipes. The service was also very good. In fact, the cook came out during our meal to ask how everything was. I was happy to tell him the food was fantastic because it absolutely deserved the compliment. Now for the not-so-good. We arrived around 5:30 PM, and the dining room was so quiet I could hear dishes being washed in the back. Not "pleasantly quiet." More "did everyone else know something I didn't?" quiet. For most of the meal there was no music at all. Just silence and the occasional clink of kitchen activity. They eventually turned on some background music shortly before we left, but it was so low that it felt more like a suggestion than actual ambiance. The tables, chairs, and overall décor are perfectly fine, but this isn't the place I'd choose for a romantic date night, anniversary dinner, or a birthday celebration where you're looking for a special atmosphere. What it is, however, is a great place to bring your spouse, kids, parents, in-laws, or anyone who appreciates good Italian comfort food without needing a white tablecloth experience. My advice? Come for the food. The food is worth it. If you're chasing ambiance, maybe lower your expectations or plan for a later dinner. The atmosphere seemed to improve after 6:30 PM as more people arrived. Bottom line: fantastic food, friendly service, family-dinner vibes. Just don't expect Tuscany. Expect comfort, and you'll leave happy.

Wow, it did not disappoint--this place is legit delicious! I went with the Swiss & Shroom MeltBurger (mushroom burger) and customized it by swapping the Swiss for pepper jack cheese, adding ranch, and drizzling on that spicy buffalo sauce. Holy cow, it was a home run! The burger literally melted in my mouth, super juicy and packed with flavor--one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had. The angus-wagyu blend shines through, and the toppings took it to another level. The ordering process was super simple and modern--I loved the big touchscreen kiosks that made customizing easy and quick. No hassle at all. They have some unique soda flavors I've never tried before, which was a fun surprise and paired perfectly with the meal. Bonus points: the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, which always matters to me. This jumps straight to my #2 burger spot overall (Shake Shack is still king in my book, but The Melt is giving it a serious run for its money with that melty, juicy goodness). I'll definitely be back soon--highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Tempe. You won't regret it! 5 stars all the way.
