Hand down my favorite convenience store chain in Tucson. They go the extra mile with staff that can ring up more than one person at a time, clean stores, clean fountain drink area, and overall friendly staff. The pre packaged sandwiches are excellent, and the variety of items they carry is close to a grocery store. (Gas prices are also competitive.) ALL staff wear masks, and disinfect counters and common areas often. Also they enforce the "everyone must wear a mask" rule. I heart them. read more

Updating: 1/14/12, The red mug giveaway for free 90 day refills was limited to the first ten stores in Tucson. As far as gas stations go, I will always love QuikTrip. I got a made to order ham and cheese croissant, a hot pretzel, and a coffee slushee ("smoothie") for about $8. All of them were great. I always stop at QuikTrips because of their assortment of frozen drinks--they have so many different flavors, from fruits to sodas to coffee. They even have frozen hot chocolate! You can mix and match however you want. And most locations have a nice made-to-order station for various sandwiches and even specialty things like Mac and cheese. read more

Cheap gas ($3.21) for lowest grade and the station was clean. There were some hoodlums hanging in the parking lot, though.

So I wouldn't normally review a gas station, but I simply must! This place deserves the 5 stars! It is UNBELIEVABLY clean and they have an amazing beverage selection. Beyond that, however, I am so impressed with the staff here. It would seem that all of the employees (not just the manager) know what good service is. Very friendly staff is sometimes even more refreshing than that big icy drink!!! Also, I don't know what the secret is- but these guys have the best ICE in town!! I usually hit this gas station on my way out of town because of its proximity to the 10. I always have a great experience when I come here. Mainly because the cashiers are awesome! They all have great attitudes and do their best to get you in and out. They also have the normal great selection of snack/drink products (including some healthy options), and nice gas prices. Clean bathrooms a usual. But this QT has a food and drink station. I got a smoothie made for me. They also make pizzas and pretzels and some other stuff. I didn't know QT did this now. So pleasantly surprised as I drive back home. read more

This location exemplifies great customer service. The store is always clean and refreshed, and the staff shows genuine care for the customer. While normally quick and convenient, QT can feel a bit robotic at times. However, Ms. Tish and Jackie J., as well as many others on the staff always go above and beyond, and provide a personal approach that is refreshing from a convenience store. They often have my item waiting for me as I'm walking in the store, which is just a small example of how the treat the customer experience here. Top notch! read more

This is a review with a narrow focus. I primarily go to QT just for tea. In my opinion QT in general and this store in particular make the best tea. My favorite, the black tea, is usually dark in color and rich in flavor. That is until recently. Today at this location the tea was very light in color and weak in flavor. I suspect they have started reusing the tea bags. I have been going to this location in particular for eight years, but in my travels I visit several different QT locations. As a matter of fact I left this store and went to the I10 / Grant location where the tea was much better. read more

Stopped at this store and bought a large cup of ice on 9/23 early afternoon. The girl helping me had a very bad attitude when I asked about the price of a cup of ice. She charged me 38 cents and I gave her 50 cents. Normally I would have just left without my change but she was so rude I didn't want to leave her a tip. I stood waiting for my change. She looked at me and said, "you're done!" She started helping another customer and I left. I had no receipt to prove her theft. Bottom line: she illegally stole money from me. Always demand a receipt from this store. read more
