We were treated so well by all of the employees. They were constantly asking if we needed anything. Our server was on top of it!! The salad bar looked like it had just been set up because it was impeccably clean!! Employees were replacing the containers before they emptied. Price of living has increased the price of dinner buffet for two plus drinks, close to $40 now. Although this is only about $2 increase it does not match the quality of food items available. I remember the Quincy"s Steakhouse of the past; this is not it! I believe they are one of two that remain. This one last because South Carolinian's love their buffets. Especially those with cheap prices. We got there at 4:00 pm, the early bird hour before the evening 5:00 pm buffet rush. The vegetables were just barely warm. Actually the food bar should be turned up in temperature. Most things were just at room temperature. The only meat that was warm to hot was the fried pork chop and the fish; both were very good. One time for the ole school after church Sunday spot that everybody went to back in the day. It looks like people are still going to the one and only one left in Florence SC! I had the classic Sirloin Tips with onions and peppers cooked medium rare. They were just as tender as I remember, better than ever. After hearing advertisements on the radio for months, we decided to give Quincy's a try. It's one of those places where you go in, grab a tray, order your meal, pay and take a seat. If you get the salad bar and/or buffet bar, you also get your plates in the line. My wife and I both ordered steaks and the salad bar. We both had ribeye steaks which didn't look like a ribeye to me. It was much thinner than I expected but the taste wasn't horrible. Their salad bar on the other hand was better than most I've seen in Florence. Plenty of fresh vegetables and greens. I was very satisfied with that portion of our meal. I've had their buffet bar since our first visit and it it was pretty good as well. Their Big Fat Yeast Rolls were delicious and you'll probably ask for more. Overall, a good buffet bar and salad bar but I wouldn't get steak there again. read more

The hotel recommended this restaurant when we stopped over night in Florence. We were delighted with the family style atmosphere and really good steaks. The staff were polite and helpful. I really like Quincey's. Food and service has always been good. But I am honestly surprised that masks are not required. There were so many people going to the buffet with no masks. I just lost my dad to Covid and he had to die alone. No one takes it seriously until you lose someone you love. The people not enforcing mask mandates are always the ones screaming the loudest when things will have to shut down again. Stopped for dinner on a Saturday night on the way home up I-95 North. The cashier/order placer was incredibly slow. It looked as if she had made errors on some previous orders as everything came to a halt as you could see several servers in a rather heated discussion with her on wrong orders being presented to customers. I ordered a ribeye with salad bar. The salad bar was clean, well stocked, and a pretty good assortment of items available. My server did a good job of making sure all was well with me. After the slow ordering experience I was anticipating a long wait for the steak, but I was pleasantly surprised in how quick it was ready. In fact I still had a few bites of salad remaining when the steak was brought to the table. The steak was ordered medium, well, and was cooked more well than medium. It certainly isn't the quality level of an outback, longhorn, etc. but I knew that before entering. Having said that, I thought it was ok in taste. Made a nice break from my I-95 driving. We're tired from the road, just passing through, and if I see another Cracker Barrel it will be too soon. Took a chance on Quincy's and very glad we did. Dinner was fast, flavorful and filling - the yeast rolls were warm from the oven and very light and fluffy, worth the trip on their own. Steak was prepared as ordered, had good flavor and the twenty skewered shrimp and baked potato rounded dinner out very nicely. With three adults and tax, dinner was around $40 - almost what I spent for lunch at the Golden Arches today, and a much better meal. If you're confused when you arrive, ask for some instruction - you order your entrees at the counter, get your drinks, cash out then go to your table. Your server finds you and brings your meal. Salad bar/buffet was quite extensive, would probably have been enough, but the steak was the best I've had in two weeks on the road, and the bill we very reasonable for a very nice meal. read more

We had an amazing dinner and I couldn't wait to get home and write a review. Our waitress Leslie was simply one of a kind. Such a sweet and caring person. Drinks never went empty and she made sure we had everything we needed without having to ask. The new managers Phil and David are doing a phenomenal job.
