No one loves going to the dentist - for a variety of reasons. However if you have to go I strongly recommend Quinlan Park Dental. I've been a patient for over 10 years and in that time, they have never failed to exceed my expectations. I've mainly gone for yearly cleanings and Candy and the other hygienists genuinely make you feel relaxed and do an amazing job of cleaning. Today I had a crown replaced and Dr Sampet was superb. Painless shot, painless procedure. His assistant, Aleine, was equally great, very gentle and I like that they tell you what they are going to do next, so no surprises. They are quick wo hurting and communication with the front desk and billing was ongoing and seamless. Dr Sampet is equipped to do it all from crowns to invisilign etc. excellent practice. read more

Dr. Sampat and his team are excellent. I went there for my regular dental cleaning and had a great experience. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable by thoroughly explaining his process. Most importantly, it was a pain free experience. About three months ago, I had three wisdom, teeth and one permanent tooth pulled. I had an infection in my mouth according to the doctor. He then prescribed me more than two months of anabiotic's telling me that this would treat the infection. After the doctor pulled all three of my wisdom, teeth, and one permanent tooth and did not give me anything for the pain other then Tylenol I was in extreme pain for about a week. The very same day the doctor pulled my teeth, my mouth, was so numb that I could not even swallow a Tylenol for nine hours. I called the doctor that same day to let them know that I was in pain in my mouth was swollen and they said just to put ice on it. They did not call me to follow up. I emailed multiple times and it literally took weeks for them to respond. Against my better judgment when I went back for a follow up, I explains the amount of pain I was in, and how long it took for me to heal. Then, unfortunately, I started to get really sick after taking the antibiotics for over two months. I found out that my doctor that I had something called. C.dif, apparently from taking too many antibiotics can kill you. I had diarrhea for over two months and extreme stomach pains which I'm still suffering with. The response that I got back from their office blows my mind. Whatever you do do not have any work done at their facility. I went to the location in Steiner Ranch. read more

I highly recommend this practice, and I know there are a lot to choose from. We recently moved to San Antonio, and drive back to get our teeth cleaned twice a year. They are genuine, informative, and gentle. I really enjoy CANDY, (cute name for working in dentistry) She is the best hygienist I have ever had. I feel like I am visiting with a good friend. HIGHLY recommend Quinlan Park Dental if you're looking for a new dentist. I'm someone who is picky about all of my providers in general. I also avoid the dentist like the plague and have moderate anxiety around any kind of dental work (even just a simple cleaning). I had not seen a dentist in longer than I care to admit and seeing a new one made me pretty nervous, but my hygienist (Christina) and Dr. Sagi were WONDERFUL! It was such a great experience. I have to brag on Christina a bit though cause she did all my x-rays, scans and cleaning and for the first time ever I can say that I had an enjoyable experience at the dentist. She was so easy to talk with, informative, gentle with my teeth and nervousness, and did some very small things that other hygienists haven't in the past that made my experience with my cleaning a breeze. First off, I don't have dental insurance and only choose to go to the dentist if I truly have pain. When I made the appointment I initially thought I would see the female dentist (the only dentist listed on their site). Instead, I saw a male dentist, can't quite remember his name but he was great. I really liked his approach and how he treated my case. They should alert their clients over the phone about who exactly they will see because initially I picked this place for the high recommendations of the female dentist. Thought I had a cavity, but, I ended up paying $112 for one x-Ray and for the dentist to file my teeth down for a better bite. The part I did not like was how the assistant wanted me to pay more money. She was nice, but at the end she kept insisting I pay $129 for this package deal that includes all x-rays and teeth cleaning. From the start I explained to her how I am looking for the lowest price possible. She worked with me, I'll give her that. After her explaining how she believed it to be the best deal, I told her I'd do it. So then she left for another 10 minutes, came back and said she'll do the x-rays now and I'll schedule with the front desk to come in for a cleaning. No, no, no. I changed my mind and told her no. Her attitude then changed and she was cold. I didn't care. It made me think differently of the office, but honestly, I did really like the dentist I saw. read more

very poor service, had work done a month ago, have called several times constant turn over rate of staff. one doctor never available. spent 5400.00 last year and 500.00 in october an now the removal left a piece of bone shard sticking out of gum and called on 12/03 they made a appointment for today at 3. then a very rude manager called back and canceled appointment and said not till next week. cant eat or talk cutting tonque. on blood thinners and i have bleeding. if you read this dr. filing with dental board and bbb. follow up now we know why your business has constant turn over and you can't recruit or keep a qualified dentist to work with you dr. scarbrough was the light that you loss. your receptionist and manager are rude and are unprofessional. i went walgrens tonight because you failed to remove all of the tooth on bottom you pulled pushing it out threw my gum causing bleeding and pain. under my condition of being on blood thinners has caused additional bleeding and infection. so because of you moving so quickly. i now have a shard that was cutting my tonque and was forced to file it down with a nail file from walgreens. i have filed action against your staff and your practice with the bbb, chamber of commerce, and the state licensing board. get your act together read more

I've been a client of Quinlan Park Dental and Dr Sumita for years, and was very happy and well cared for. However, the practice was sold last December, and Dr Sumita has not practiced there (because of serious illness in her family) for over 6 months. When I or family members have called to ask for Dr Sumita, we keep getting vague answers like "she's taken time off" or "she'll be back in a few weeks". The website still has her name and photographs displayed prominently. I wish this practice would be more up front and honest, rather than stringing along her patients. As a Steiner Ranch resident , I was happy to find out that there will be another choice to find a dentist within Steiner. I used to go to the one in River Place and was not satisfied with the service at all in terms of billing and work performed on my cavities as I always had to return to adjust the fillings!! Dr. Sumita was very professional, punctual and above all with a human touch!! The staff is very corteous and the facilities very modern and clean. The staff at Quinlan dental and Dr Sumita are the loveliest people!! I had a horrible accident when I was a child and had a LOT of trauma to my mouth. Since the incident I've been anxious with anyone being near my mouth. To top that off I've had many dentist doing unnecessary and poor quality work. Since going to Quinlan my anxiety has lessened and I feel comfortable to have treatment done without gas or meds (big win for me!). Dr Sumita has never pushed any unnecessary treatments on me and for the first time in a very long time I was complimented on the "upkeep" of my teeth by the hygienist. My entire family sees the team there including my three very young children (5,4 & 2), who all look forward to going to the dentist. I am so grateful to have found this practice. read more

Fantastic Service. Dr. Sumita has a very delicate touch and was very good about going over the work she was going to do. I called with a minor emergency and they were able to fit me in and do the work needed. She also made it clear that she would be available if there were any issues during non business hours. Up until this year, I have been travelling out of state to visit my dentist whom is a good friend and my dentist for over 15 years...well...the economy of that task became unreasonable, so after searching locally I decided to visit Dr. Sumita at Quinlan Park Dental....I have to say, the operation was first class all the way, and in short order had my Xrays, full mouth scan and cleaning done in a very reasonable amount of time. A few months later my crown failed and i developed a cavity underneath it. The saw me same day on a walk in to check out my complaint, scheduled a followup visit to have impressions made, the tooth prepared and cavity filled and than I came back about a week later to have the process finished. Everyone from the doctor to the staff was courteous, pleasant to interact with and most importantly, Dr. Sumita made the process painless.
