    Spinach and Lump Crab Enchiladas

Great customer service! I was debating between the Peruvian vs Mexican dishes. I ultimately landed on the Spinach crab enchiladas and it was delicious. I cleaned off my plate. My friend ordered the very popular Peruvian dish, lomo saltado. She enjoyed her meal and would order again.

After consulting Yelp, we opted for lunch at Quinoa between visiting Fonthill Castle and Mercer Museum. The fact that it was a Peruvian & Mexican restaurant is what drew us in. The 4 adults in my party, all went Peruvian and the kids went with Mexican fare, so everyone was happy. As we reviewed the menu, the server brought us some chips with some salsa and sauces. We ordered the Quesadilla, Burrito Bowl, A Lo Pobre Bowl, El Costeno, and Picante de Camarones Tacu Tacu. Although all the items were good, the Picante de Camarones was the most flavorful and delicious. They also offered some unique Mexican and Peruvian Drinks. Quinoa Peruvian & Mexican Restaurant is a nice little establishment with a colorful interior.

Nice spot in town! Service was attentive and friendly. Option to sit In or out with a couple seats at high tops if solo. Clean and good options to accommodate dietary restrictions. Pretty presentation that went with good flavors. Will have to check out more items.

I'm staying nearby for a business trip and while looking for somewhere delicious and healthy, I found this place on Yelp. It's located on a street filled with cute restaurants and shops. There's lots of metered street parking, but it took me a few minutes to find a spot. Service is fast & friendly. They even brought chips and salsa while I waited for my meal. I ordered the Andino bowl, which is packed with fresh ingredients. I added veggies, which were my favorite part--perfectly seasoned. It's a big portion for a great price. I'll definitely be back again!

Quaint restaurant in the heart of Doylestown, the dishes served are presented well and the food is delicious! The pricing is a little more upscale but the atmosphere is casual.

There are many places where you can sample Mexican food but what about Peruvian? At Quinoa you can try both. We went Peruvian. A small plate of chips with a delicious salsa and 2 dipping sauces was brought to the table while we were checking out the menu. We tried the Ceviche Bowl which contained lettuce, rice and sweet potatoes (a feature I have not seen in ceviche before), Peruvian and Roasted corn and Tostones (fried plantain slices). I ordered the "mixto" which gave me shrimp, octopus and squid. It was very good along with being a very large portion. Our other entree was the Picante de Camarones Bowl. Again a very generous portion of black beans, avocado and shrimp in a Peruvian red pepper sauce. It also was very good. For drinks our server suggested we try 2 different ones: a very good Passion Fruit/Maracuya, (a light passion fruit drink) and the Chicha Morada, an "exotic drink made of purple Peruvian Corn". This was a great mix of flavors. Both are in-house made. Before tip, the bill came to around $47. Well worth the experience.

First time back since start of the pandemic, happily surprised to see the restaurant in their new space on E State Street a few doors up before the County Movie Theater. Alexis was our host and server, and both super friendly and helpful. We had a most wonderful experience and our bellies are quite happy. We started off with a round of two appetizers- Ceviche Limeno and the Tamale. Great start, Tamale was the best we've ever had. For dinner we ordered The Quinoa Balls which are highly recommend- black beans, chorizo, onions and Quinoa with jalapeño rocoto pepper sauce. Yummy and nice sharing plate. And for our main which we shared, the highly recommended Peruvian Lamb Stew Tacu Tacu. Wow!!!! A home run. The lamb is slow cooked for 48 hrs and the pieces were so tender and moist, can cut with a fork. The overall flavor profile was delicious. A lovely mix with Peruvian peppers and Chicha De Jora served over Tacu Tacu- Peruvian rice and beans. See our delectable photos

The food could not have been any better! Everything was delicious - no notes. It's a fun atmosphere inside and love that it's BYOB. The service was slow, but we weren't in a rush and our server was so nice, so we didn't mind at all! We were happy to relax, chat, sip our wine and enjoy the food as it arrived. We will definitely be back!

We're in the area from out of town so I searched for a good place for a late lunch/early dinner. The Yelp reviews brought us here. This place is not big, but very quaint & lots of ethnic decor to set the mood. The wait staff were very friendly & knowledgeable of their menu. My wife got the the Empanada sampler...homemade & tasty! I got the flounder entree with a side of Tacu Tacu. The fish was cooked perfectly & delicious. Our 1st time trying the Tacu Tacu...really good! Everything we had & saw coming out to others tables looked amazing! I would recommend going a little early since they seem to fill up quick @ meal time. ENJOY!

Friendly and accommodating servers Well decorated and comfy spot Solid margarita mix Guac was good not great Mexican street corn looked better than it was but it wasn't bad All of our entries were fantastic

Stopped in today a little before 4pm. The place was dead, but not for long. The staff is very polite. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is vibrant & wonderful. The food was very fresh & authentic. So flavorful! The portions are quite large and the price is great. So glad we stopped in today. We'll be back, for sure.

I think if I had the time to right a book about how great of an experience I had at Quinoa Peruvian & Mexican restaurant, I would! But I'll try and be concise! We came up to Doylestown on Wednesday night because we heard about their Local's night, which includes a 3 course dinner and margarita for $28. This is an absolutely incredible deal considering the quality of the food! We started with the complimentary chips and salsa, which was alright but obviously not what we were there for! The salsas were average, but the chips were nice and warm! Then we got the Ceviche Limona, which was INCREDIBLE! Definitely order some sort of ceviche while you are here! We used the chips from the chips and salsa to eat the ceviche, and the fresh tasting fish with nuts for a crunch and like to bring out the flavor... omg it was incredible! Then, the appetizer we got for the 3 course meal was the pupusa filled with chorizo and cheese, and topped with a cabbage slaw. This was absolutely incredible as well. I have had pupusas in the past that were super oily, but not this one! The cabbage slaw added a nice acidic flavor to cut through the chorizo! For the main dishes, we ordered the Peruvian Lamb Tacu Tacu, which was a 48 hour slow cooked piece of lamb over Tacu Tacu. This was single handedly one of the best bite of food I had during my 10 weeks in Philly! The sauce was so thick and rich, and the lamb was fork tender! The Tacu Tacu paired perfectly with it as well! The second entree was a part of the 3 course meal, and was a huge mojarra Frita! The tilapia had so much meat on it, and came with a side salad, rice, and tostones! It was fried perfectly, tasted amazing, and the sides paired perfectly with it! Lastly, for dessert we got the tres leches cake, which was super moist and topped with strawberry! I have had tres leches in the past that have come out dry, which is not how it's supposed to be at all, I know, so I've always been hesitant on ordering it. But this one was absolutely phenomenal! The staff here is super friendly, and gave awesome recommendations on what to order! There was rarely a time when my water glass was empty as well! Definitely come here on a Wednesday to check out their Local's night offering, as it was incredible!!

Wonderful place! After hitting the museums, we started looking for lunch. We totally lucked out! This place has flavorful, fresh food. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They offer some dishes and beverages we had never seen before and everything we tried was incredible. We live a good distance away. The food is so good, we made another trip to eat there again. Highly recommend.

Before we entered the restaurant we were "distracted" by the vibrant ice cream store in the same strip. We walked in and were overwhelmed with all the ice cream options. Speaking to the owner, he said his family owns the EL Primo Plaza. We were on a mission for food, but will definitely visit the ice cream store in the future (our plan was after dinner, but dinner was so delicious and so filling, there was no room for dessert this time...better planning next time!). The restaurant is in a Mexican convenience store, but this is not your typical Mexican convenience store. They had so many options for everything. And they have this great bakery in the back before the restaurant. Everything looked SO good! In the back is a full sit down restaurant. We were seated and it is nicely decorated and has a view into the kitchen to watch them make the food. Our server promptly greeted us with some chips and what I think was a mole sauce. They were very tasty. We decided on a watermelon drink and shared mixed fajitas. The watermelon drink was fresh watermelon and it was very refreshing. The mixed fajitas came out piping hot, full of steak chicken and good sized shrimp. Sometimes at other places you get the baby cocktail shrimp, but these were a good size and nicely grilled and seasoned. You get a nice amount of sides to make your fajitas. There was so much food that we asked for extra shells at no additional cost! We thought we put a dent in the food, but we had so much still to take home. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. The meat was nice and tender. There was a good amount of peppers and onions but it wasn't overpowered as sometimes also we have gotten fajitas elsewhere when there is mostly veggies and very little meat. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left. Very good. We have added it to the list of places to return.

Walked in and the vibe was already a win, warm and inviting, the kind of place where you just relax right into the vibe, or head to the large bar and watch some World Cup action. Went for lunch. Service was on point too, attentive but never annoying about it. Friendly and had real suggestions when asked about faves. They brought out complimentary ceviche and honestly, incredible start. Fresh, acid balanced perfectly so you actually taste the fish, clean, instead of just lime juice and spice. And can we talk about the rice? Sounds basic, looked normie, but it was somehow the most flavorful part of the whole meal. This flavor bomb looked plain but IYKYK that this level of execution just looks simple. The rice alone will have you thinking about indulging your inner fat kid and ordering extra to take home. Like the dessert that you'll likely skip because the portions are filling. Ps. Get the flan! We went all in and ordered the seafood chimichanga, steak, shrimp fajitas, and guac on the side. Everything was cooked exactly right. Nice char on the grilled stuff, proteins juicy and tender, nothing dry, nothing overdone. The sauces were bright and punchy too, tasted like rich Mexican flavors with that fresh from the sea quality paired with exceptionally grilled seafood and tender meat. If you're anywhere near Montgomeryville and haven't been, fix that. This place deserves a crowd.

Sadly, we both left disappointed. I ordered the fajitas Veracruz, a combination of chorizo, steak, and chicken. Fajitas are my go-to order whenever I try a new Mexican restaurant, so I was really looking forward to them. Unfortunately, they arrived warm-ish, with none of the sizzling you typically expect from fajitas. The steak was significantly overcooked, tough, and grisly. The chicken was okay, but the entire dish lacked flavor. The green peppers were also barely cooked. I ate a few bites, brought the rest home, and ultimately decided it wasn't worth keeping. I realize you don't know me, but I LOVE leftovers, so the fact that I decided to throw them away says a lot. My husband ordered the seafood tacos, which came with shrimp, octopus, and chorizo. He said they were okay, but also felt they lacked much flavor. After tip, our lunch came to about $60. Unfortunately, we felt that was too expensive for the quality of the food we received. We really wanted to like Boca Del Mar, but based on this experience, we won't be rushing back.
