My daughter bought me a $35 Amazon gift card from Woodman's for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the card was accidentally thrown away because it was still inside the envelope. The very next day, when I went to add the gift card to my Amazon account, we realized the envelope was gone. My daughter contacted Woodman's and was told to contact Amazon. Amazon said they could not help without the gift card serial number, which was not printed on the receipt, and told us to go back to Woodman's. I then called Woodman's with the original receipt and asked if they could help locate the serial number or provide any assistance. They refused to help, even after the issue was escalated to the corporate level. Update: After writing the review, someone from Woodman's did help us out. We appreciate the help. If the people at the store and corporate were as nice, I would have given an excellent experience. I enjoy the variety that Woodman's carries. Additionally they tried to claim the free delivery was contingent on what service delivered the order for the coupon to apply and our method didn't apply! We cannot select through the app how it was to be delivered! They decided! And that they "recommend " you wait 2 hours for any clipped coupon be used on the app! They don't post that anywhere you see, just recommend it from their customer service center after you complain about the charge. So to sum up $100 overcharge for half of the goods ordered.
