1 star too many. Apparently Leo, a senior technician here was not only completely incapable of properly performing a safety recall on a Kia Telluride driver seat. My wife was told the repair would take 45 minutes, but set aside 2 hours.. in which Leo basically disassembled her cockpit and left the seat so low and far up that only a professional jockey would be able to safely drive the vehicle. Honestly this place should be closed down by the city, demolished, and made into a fenceless honey badger sanctuary to dramatically improve the safety of Manchester residents. read more

Note, this is a review of sales, and the sales department alone. I chose Quirk Kia because I previously purchased a Bolt from Quirk Chevy and I like their sales staff. I reviewed their inventory and had already picked the Kia EV6 Wind that I wanted, so I was a fairly easy sale. My sales rep Haris, who had only been at the dealership for a week did a great job. I do feel like they 'abandon' you to stand at the sales supervisors desk a bit much while handling paperwork, but I don't know if it's just because he was new or what. I did feel that the guy that went over my paperwork and pushed the support contracts on me was a bit overly pushy. However, Doug from the back was great. He made sure that I got what I wanted, apart from less from my trade-in. If I stay with Kia, I'll be certain to come back to Quirk Kia Manchester. read more

It took them a week and a half to get my car back to me for what sounded like a maybe 2 hour job. When I went to pick up my car I had planned to pay partially in cash and they rudely huffed and puffed at me saying they don't accept cash but would make an exception. Absolutely horrible service/repair of my 2017 Sportage. They fix one issue and create 3 much bigger ones that'll always show up a few weeks after your visit. Zach, the service manager, is not helpful at all and refuses all responsibility when he noticed that the repairs for the latest issue were too expensive. They were less than two months old and should have been covered under the tire manufacturer without issue as it is a manufacturing defect. There was no debris, nail, or otherwise. The service department workers at Quirk Kia in Manchester, NH I dealt with proved to be thieves. How? They robbed me of my valuable time, and not once but twice. The first time was on November 8, 2023 when I appeared for my 11/8/23 recall appointment for the installation of corrective, anti-theft software into my notoriously theft-prone, 2014, Sorento. I made this appointment after receiving a letter from Kia stating that they had solved the incompatibility issue with the 1st version of the corrective software that had rendered it as useless for Sorentos equipped with "remote start" capability. About five minutes after checking in, the female service representative (See photo) informed me that they didn't have the software that was compatible with my remote start Sorento; thus, they couldn't do the recall service. That was the first theft of the almost two hours of my time to drive there, round-trip. The 2nd theft occurred on 4/3/24, when I appeared for a 2nd appointment, one set, after receiving a mailing from them stating that they now had all they needed to perform that recall service. Before I made this appointment, I phoned the service department and spoke with a male rep who assured me that they indeed had everything they needed to get the recall job done. Upon appearing for this appointment, the same female service rep I dealt with during the first robbery, told me they WOULDN'T do the work. Why? She stated it was because I had made a video recording, without the consent of the service manager, of the 1st appointment, one documenting the service rep telling me that they COULDN'T do the work. Said video, was made in a very public, customer waiting area; wherein, no expectation of privacy could exist, and in the absence of any signage stating no unauthorized recording was allowed in the areas accessible to the public; thus, these insidiously evil people knew, before I ever left for the 2nd appointment, that they had no intention of performing the recall service, and deliberately robbed me of my valuable time yet again. read more

Scheduled an appointment for my wife's 2020 Kia Sportage here, we set the appointment to have 2 recalls and a leaking rear differential pinion seal fixed. Got the call today, that they did the recalls (requires being on the lift), and missed the leaking rear differential, that it would cost 139.00 for them to bring it back in and take a look at it. Haley then hung up on me, when I declined the potential fee. I called back, spoke with CJ, who said they could not determine if it would be under warranty.... Kia states "The Kia powertrain warranty will cover any manufacturer damage or defects for 10 years or up to 100,000 miles. This warranty covers all of the vehicle's essential systems, including the transmission, axle, transaxle, engine, driveshaft, propeller shafts, and differential." He also stated that they charge this at all their other dealerships. He went on to discuss that if under warranty, they'd bill Kia and no issues. I currently have 4 other Quirk sourced vehicles. Never been charged this, in more than 20 vehicles sourced and serviced by Quirk dealerships. read more

Worst service department, worst products misdiagnosed my wife's car as the ECU went bad (or so they say) then wanted to charge her 3,800 bucks got my own replacement (OEM) and had it programmed elsewhere car still won't start. then they tried to blame it on aftermarket parts (which it was not) again original ECU with Kia/Hyundai logo on the part with identical part numbers that were on the original (bad) part. they were trying to charge ridiculous amount of that 3800 dollars for labor which took me 20 minutes to remove myself. Then tried to blame the person i had program it saying he did it incorrectly. which was not true i used my autel which showed that indeed it was programmed correctly as my VIN and other details were programmed to the new ECU. Save yourself the hassle DONT BUY A KIA NOR USE THIS DAEALERSHIP OR SERVICE DEPT. Lastly the genius service advisor didn't even know that PCM/ECU are the same thing talk about trusting their service advisors they don't even what parts are what. read more

Poor service. Confirmed the car was under warranty and the item should be covered, then said to go elsewhere as they would not honor the warranty. While they took the time to write a follow up to my review, they never took the time to fix the issue with the brand new kia I have had 1 month. Quirk and why I won't buy another. I can deal with up selling. It's annoying but it's part of life. "Are you sure you don't want another tire rotation after 3k miles?" sorta junk. It's expected. The shabby and abusive behavior from the service department is too much. My Niro has a recall. Needs some fuse. I get the note saying bring it in they have the parts. I schedule the appointment, take time off work and get it there. They tell me an hour later I have to come back again because this appointment was to verify which of two fuses they needed. They'll call me when the part arrives. Because keeping two $10 fuses on the shelf is too expensive. FOR A RECALL WHICH WILL CAUSE THE CAR TO BURST INTO FLAMES. But hey it doesn't bother them if I have to take more time off work OR DIE. I wait two weeks, as it seems like a long time for a fuse and call them. Of course they have the part but didn't call me. Now I have a bad bearing. I have a written diagnosis from the shop around the corner. They won't order the part unless I bring it to them so they can verify the problem and charge me the diagnostic fee . Then it will be 7 to 10 days to get the part. Because a $100 part from the car THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO SERVICE is too expensive to have on the shelf. The car was fine. But I'm getting rid of it today and never getting another car from Quirk. read more

Service manager Zach is very condescending and beats around the bush. I was there for a simple diagnosis because one of my speakers blew, so I drove an hour to Manchester since it's the closest kia to me and supposedly the best. They gave me a one sentence quote written in pencil that didn't explain anything so I asked for a breakdown and to talk to the technician and Zach came out. He couldn't tell me exactly what was wrong with it because they actually never even did said diagnosis, and just gave me the price to replace the whole speaker. He decided to push me out saying there's too much wrong with my car and that it's because my bass is too high. My bass is at two. Bought car 2021, horn failed less than a year in 2022. I didn't rush to have fixed because I thought I had 100k warranty. I brought it in in 2023 when I needed state inspection. Brought my car in for oil change. They did a free tire rotation and never torqued my tires down. I noticed a month later my tire was missing several lug nutts and others were able to be loosened by hand. I could have died if any tires fell off. They gave me 1 free oil change. Fast forward 2 months now there telling me my tires are worn down and they are refusing to help me in any way since "I can't prove the ware was from them". My cars at less then 30,000 miles and these tires are rated for 50,000 miles. I am not an aggressive driver. Would not recommend bringing your car anywhere that doesn't know you need to torque down a tire (pretty much one of the easiest things to know as a mechanic). Went in to their Manchester branch because their MA dealerships didn't have the car that I wanted to buy. But, I am glad I decided to visit this dealership! I went in and was welcomed by a sales person Jamie Garaufis. He asked me the reason for my visit, offered me coffee/water, asked me to sit and explained that the car trim that I was interested in was not available at that time at the dealership. But there was another trim of the same car and he made sure that I got a chance to test drive. He told me that the car trim of my choice was going to arrive by the end of October 2021. Explained the process, features, price etc. very well. Since the car was so much in demand (plus the shortage of cars due to the lack of chips), there was no scope for negotiation. I decided to book it and wait for the pick up date. Even after booking, Jamie made sure that I was provided regular updates about my car. There was a situation in the October 6th when I had to urgently go into surgery and I wouldn't be able to drive to pick up the car. But everything fell into place, my car was ready for pick up on October 5th!! Despite being from MA, I was able to visit the dealership, sign the papers, pick up my car and get home on the same day and the dealership took care of transferring my plates. If I lived anywhere near Manchester, this would be my go to dealership! read more

My pregnant wife and I travelled 50 minutes to Manchester NH to negotiate the deal they cited available on their website. When we arrived, the sales lot had no cars whatsoever on their outside lot, on a President's Day with great weather? We went into the showroom, there was 1 Niro, nothing else. We met with a salesman, and asked to the Seltos. He said they did not have any at the dealership, I asked why they were cited on the website as inventory.He explained, those are vehicles they "hoped to have delivered". I then cited the lease offer from their website $219 mo 24 months with $2999 down, and asked how to get that offer in place. He explained that's what "KIA" posted on our website... for Quirk to offer you that deal you need to give us $6000 down as there is a $3000 dollar dealer markup.. Wow, the old school car selling tactics appear to live on at Quirk KIA. What a horrible experience. Must trust level of this dealership is zero based on these tactics. This was the best dealership I've ever been to. I don't know if it was the awful experience that I had minutes before walking into this establishment or what, but I've literally never had fun buying a car before until I came here. Before I get into how great they were and how you should definitely go here, let me first tell you where NOT to go... Auto Fair Honda, which is just up the street a ways. My God. The place is a zoo filled with the scum of the earth. I went to Auto Fair and spoke with the worst salesman I've ever met. Cocky, corny, foul-mouthed, pushy... You name it. He was basically the type of salesman the Family Guy would make fun of. Talked down to me... Wouldn't take no for an answer... Kept trying to get me into a car that I had no intention of buying... Just awful. Needless to say, I bounced out of there. Having owned a 2012 KIA Sportage at the time, I'd already felt close to the KIA brand. Since the 2017 Sportage models were just coming out I decided to pop in and see if they had any at Quirk. They had a very limited amount (this was April of 2016), but they did have some. What a difference it was walking into this place compared to Auto Fair. A night and day difference. First of all, this place was open, bright and professional. Auto Fair was tight, messy, and just uncomfortable. Quirk has a bunch of small tables rather than long desks that belong to one person. It felt more like an even negotiation that way. Sitting in a small seat on the other side of some jerk's desk just feels like you're being screwed somehow. I met with Pat Stewart (I know, just like Professor X, I mentioned it to him, believe me). Pat was the nicest most down-to-earth salesman I've ever talked to. Such an upgrade from what I had just dealt with. Pat let me take a 2017 Sportage Turbo SX for a test drive and answered all my questions along the way. I loved the car, but then, I sort of knew I would. Now we just had to make a deal. We sat at the small community table and talked about what I could afford and what I couldn't. Pat tried to make several numbers work. We finally came to an agreement where I was going to put $1,000 down. I told him what colors I liked and he stepped away to check on what was in their inventory. He came back a short while later to give me the bad news. Apparently because the 2017 models were so fresh on the scene, there were none in the color that I wanted. None in the entire New England area... and he wasn't sure when they would be getting one in. The only 2017 Turbo SX Sportage they had was the one that I test drove. And it was poop brown. Not really poop brown, but copper. Copper is nice but I just really didn't see myself driving a copper colored car. This is where Pat stepped up. He offered a remote start and a few other small perks in order for me to take the car in the color that I wasn't thrilled with. Eventually I mentioned erasing my down payment but keeping monthly cost the same. He came back and did just that. That's outstanding service. I left there that same day driving away in my brand new Sportage... and can I tell you something? The color grew on me after a few days. I kind of love it now. Go to this dealership. Avoid Auto Fair. KIA Service department, specifically Joe. Are swindlers. I brought my car in for several recalls and asked Joe to have them tell me what it needed for inspection. He called back and mentioned several items costing a total of $1700.00. I made the decision to go ahead with repairs fully expecting an inspection sticker. When I picked up my car Joe informed us that due to the update to the computers I had to dribe it for 159-200 miles then bring it back for inspectio. At this point he mentioned the windshield had a little chip in it but DID NOT say it wouldnt pass inspection Until I brought the car in after driving it around for150 Miles. This should have been disclosed BEFORE I made the repair decision.. They didn't want to tell me the car wouldn't pass even with the 1700.00 worth of work simply so I would have it done. Not even sure I needed the repairs I paid for at this point. Dishonest and untrustworthy, especially Joe, watch out! read more

Eventually was assisted by a service advisor who appeared to be in a hurry. Apparently they just ignore their online system and refused to honor my appointment. Said there was no chance that they could possibly get to it the next day either. What's the point of selling a premium car (I have a Stinger) if Kia can't even provide the bare minimum of service? Bought my 2022 telluride from them, car has 20k miles. engine light came on thanksgiving day. Brought car into them all they did was clear the code and tell me to drive it and if light comes back on bring it back and they will diagnose. Brought my car back in for no heat at idle. Service told me they burped my coolant and now it's fine. Pick it up and immediately see heat is still not fixed. Bring it back in for no heat at idle still and was told I was crazy and heat is fine. Third time I bring it in they did a more in-depth burp of the system and claimed heat was now fine again. Also mentioned I have sputtering in my exhaust. Service told me that's normal for this car and there's no issue. Picked up the car and once again immediately noticed no heat at idle. Brought my to another Kia dealership and as soon as they got in they noticed no heat at idle. Popped the hood and found massive puddles of coolant all over my engine from quirk. Diagnosed and found out the issue with my sputtering exhaust and no heat at idle is my head gasket. I will NEVWR go back to quirk! The manner in which they spoke to me, the number of times I brought my car in for the same issue only to be told I'm crazy is unacceptable! Worst service experience ever! Zach the service manner doesn't care and has zero regulars for his customers. read more

I was not impressed with the outcome of my 1st service nor the managers reaction to my 2nd service. My car was stolen and had to be fixed after the fact. My car has a known theft issue, including 2 recalls for said issue. When my car went it, they guaranteed me the recall issues are an automatic service any time a car is in their garage. Any time I brought it up, it was brushed off as, "it will be taken care of." They had my car for 5 weeks. I got it back and all in all, it was great work, clean car. I thought I was good. 3 months later my car was stolen again. I found out the recalls were not done. When I questioned Quirk about it, they would not say anything other than "let's set an appointment and we can get it fixed." First the garage said they never got my car and that's why the recalls weren't done. Then they said it was because the body shop gave them the car and they did the work requested and gave it back. I spoke with the garage every week, they knew my car was stolen, they are a kia dealer with known theft issues, fixing a ripped out ignition on a car that requested the recalls be dealt with. Nope. They had my car for 5 weeks fixing damage done by theft and didn't upgrade the interlock software which only takes a couple hours. I needed my car fixed again, so they took it and it went from $1091 the first time and they detailed my car to $3400 the 2nd time and no cleaning was done. So not only did I have to deal with this twice (renting a car is expensive), but the price of repairs almost quadrupled when the repairs were almost exactly the same. The salesman are nice, all the people were professional and nice. Someone dropped the ball with me and instead of helping me, they offered to fix it all again at a bloated price. read more

My kia Forte was less then a year old and brought it into the service center to have it diagnosed, because my car was not blowing heat or a/c air. This was in JulyThey told me me it was a blower motor. I called on 9/21/ 23 to check on the status and they told me that they tried to call me, which they did not, and because the part sat there for so long they sent it back. They then proceeded to tell me that it would take another 2-3 days if the part was available I spoke to the person in charge of the service depth, who identified himself as Charles Brain. They told me stop getting upset, but then Charles began getting frustrated and began raising his voice, when I asked him why he was raising his voice he stated because I am.getting frustrated. I them told Charles now you know how I feel.. This place did nothing to help, and threaten to not install the part to repair my brand new car. We went out for groceries and returned home with a 2019 Kia Soul, thanks to the exceptional service offered by Tim Hogan at Quirk Kia. We knew Tim from an earlier encounter when our oldest son purchased a six-speed manual Forte in early 2017, and we were pleased with his friendly, direct, yet unassuming approach to helping us. After all, we figured we were merely starting the process of buying that Friday, July 27. We told Tim we were interested in the Soul, liked its updated, sleeker look, and especially liked the low online price. Both my wife and I test drove the 6-speed manual-shift version, then discovered, with Tim's help, about very affordable financing. Even without our planned trade-in on hand, Tim received an OK from management to allow us to leave that day with our new Soul. We returned Monday, July 30, with our trade-in, were thanked again by Tim, and are enjoying the new ride. So, we overshot the grocery bill by just shy of $16K, but we feel incredibly satisfied with our experience and encourage readers to consider Quirk Kia in general -- and Tim Hogan in particular -- when searching for a good, affordable vehicle. read more

Last summer my boyfriend was looking to buy a Kia Soul, and pay CASH for the purchase. I have never been treated so badly as we were by the sales staff at Quirk Kia. Despite a nearly empty showroom, we waited over an hour for a test drive. He decided to buy the car anyway, and they tried to weasel him out of $40-50 a couple of times, and the total price changed every time we spoke to someone different! Then, they scheduled us for a pickup and we arrived on time. Turns out the car wasn't even ready, and we had to wait another hour or so to take delivery of the car. During all the waiting, not once did anyone come over to see if we needed anything, or to apologize for the screwup. Unless you like to be abused, stay far, far away! read more

I also leased my car from Bonniville prior to them selling to quirk, all I have to say is bad customer service. You think with a leased car you would have no worries. I went to the service center today and got turned away when I asked if they could check a tire that keeps leaking on me. They told me they were to busy with all the recalls they have. I leased for a reason but I would never lease from Kia again. So I called up Bonniville and they told me to come right in no need for a appointment. We had purchased a 2015 Kia Optima from this dealership & didn't have any issue. We wanted to trade it in for a bigger car but the sales service that we got was horrible. Our sales person didn't even want to deal with us & acted rudely. He would not listen to me when I said I had equity in my car because of the down payment I did when I traded it in. Their lack of wanting to sell us a KIA Sportage was unbelievable so we went to another dealer & leased a 2016 KIA Sorento. The salesperson was awesome & wanted to sell a car. Went in there looking to buy a car. Told him I already had a preapproval from capital one and I didn't want my credit ran anywhere else they told me OK.... come to find out two weeks later my credit score dropped 90 points because of 15 Hard inquiry's they put on my credit. Obviously these people can't listen. Also after having my car for only two weeks it had an issue and they wouldn't even give me a loaner while I was in the shop place is a joke. Complete joke.
