Bought an on-line gift card for $10 and looking forward to using it for my Carl's Jr mobile application specials. Already disappointed about the on-line orders not working since 6am today. The after Super Bowl special, (The Hangover Breakfast Burger), for FREE is what I am really anticipating on ordering today as well. Just for signing up and downloading the Carl's Jr mobile application yesterday got me a FREE item to redeem. I'm trying something new today at this 76 gas station & convenience store with a fully loaded & functional Carl's Jr franchise fast food counter. They're pretty far from the Honolulu area, so I don't order them that often. Their BBQ items are awesome, burgers and chicken stuff. And I'm not sure where they get their lettuce from, but it's still got to be the freshest perfect lettuce on the planet. 2025 SEPT 21 It's been years since I had Carl's Jr. last time Carl's Jr was at Pearl ridge and I regret not buying from here when they were at Pearlridge. Downloaded the app and did mobile order: California double burger large with Fries Onion rings Jalapeño poppers (9) Pros -Food was fresh to order Mobile app and was able to redeem the -jalapeño poppers for free -fries reminded me of wendy/BK -Burger was so good jsut needed onions & reminded me of BK. Parties were flame broiled -Friendly lady -Fast service -Enough parking for an in/out order -plenty of options even tho the menu is so simple!!! Cons -Far if you wanted to eat this and live in the west side it's a far drive just to crave Carl's Jr -No drive thru -Seems like other Carl's Jr locations are late night open or 24/7. Unfortunately this is Hawaii and no late night munchies hours. I'm a California transplant, living in Hawaii for almost 20 years. Like other fast food restaurants on the mainland Carl's Jr. is a staple in fast food. I was shocked to find out that there was only one Carl's Jr. on the island of Oahu only I found it funny that it was located inside of a gas station onto my order... My order was relatively simple, I ordered one Santa Fe grilled chicken sandwich one order of five piece hand battered chicken tenders with small fries. I place the order at 2:39 PM after 30 minutes. I called the restaurant to ask for an update on my delivery. The restaurant assured me that the order was complete and they were just waiting for the delivery delivery driver . I waited another half hour and called the restaurant. I was given the same information. Food had been ready.No delivery driver is sight. I was just about to cancel the order but decided to message the Uber eats delivery driver. I did not receive an answer. The driver showed up 10 minutes later at 3:46 PM. That's a one hour and 10 minute wait for food when the driver handed me the bag, he told me that the food is cold and he apologized, but he actually just received, the delivery request. He said he was unsure of what happened and why it wasn't assigned to anybody. Normally I just wipe my hands clean the whole thing and say oh well try again another time. But that was not to be because the order was messed up. My sandwich was made in correctly. I requested no Santa Fe sauce on my sandwich because it makes it spicy and I'm not able to tolerate that level of spice. There was Santa Fe sauce all over the entire sandwich I had to try and wipe it off, but it didn't work very good. I asked for no lettuce. Believe it or not I'm actually allergic to lettuce. I know, I know who in the world is allergic to lettuce? It's just water right? I could easily see remnants of what was that some point lettuce that has been placed on the sandwich and then removed when their mistake was noticed. I paid for and asked for extra green chilies, but I thought I'd get an extra slice not seven slices. I paid for an added on guacamole for $1.80 extra half of teaspoon I got was ridiculously small. The 5-piece hand battered chicken tenders had 4-pieces and a couple of little bits that someone decided was equivalent to one full-size piece. There was no ranch dressing as requested for the chicken tenders. Instead, we received two packets of ketchup. The driver warned us that the order was cold. He wasn't kidding. It must been placed in front of an air conditioner because the fries weren't just cold, they were freezing cold. OMG! How difficult is it to put together a three item order correctly? Oh! C'mon Uber Eats. With as many people you have signed up as delivery drivers, you couldn't assign anybody to deliver an order that was less than 7 minutes away? SMH. read more

Don't laugh, but it was my first time eating at Carl's Jr. and the food was so good. Who would have thought as this place is located in a gas station. We ordered a Double Big Carl $9.59 and a Teriyaki Combo $13.69. The combo came with a side and drink. I chose onion rings. They give you a cup and you can get your own fountain drink. I got the sweetened green tea. Their burgers are so good. It's much better than other fast food places. Their burgers are also a decent size. Their teriyaki sauce was delicious and they even put a slice of pineapple in the burger. The onion rings were also very good. It was crispy and they use the whole onion slice. Fried Zucchini!!! Sadly I've been out of the loop and couldn't believe they're out of fried zucchini which is the thing that I always get at Carl's Jr and apparently there's a shortage...I dunno but I was sad lol! This location part of the gas station food mart and is the only surviving Car's Jr on the island and though express isn't the word for it as it shares half the space with the mart but I'm so grateful that's it's still here. With a full menu board it offers all items like any Carl's Jr including Star Deals which are their value items and Star Pals or the kids meal. Their burgers and to say it's pricy I would disagree with the quality they serve in comparison to other fast food and the toppings are very generous and it was the Jalapeño Angus Burger for me the single 1/3lb medium combo which is $14.99 which comes with fries (regular or waffle cut) and drink. You're able to dine in and enjoy your burger which is a nice option they do have a counter with six high stools and serving Coke products the choices of a dozen drinks is quite impressive and I usually don't drink soda I decided on Ginger Ale. The service here is just so nice and friendly with fast service keeping every thing neat and clean this location is not to be missed to have a great charbroiled burgers and with the option to fill up on gas is something pretty cool! I don't know why it took me so long to figure out I can put gas in my car while I waited for a food order. Oh wait, I remember; I don't know how to fill gas properly and and let me tell you, again, Carl's Jr. Is the best when it comes to burgers and sides! Food prices are competitive, actually better bc the quality of the food and the staff is better than the other guys. I don't mind paying for a quality product. Gas is $4.59/gal for regular. Cheaper than the other guys, too. Really busy early morning on weekdays. read more

Best Carl's Jr. in the world! I usually drop in for a breakfast burger and cup of Lion coffee. The people working here are always friendly. Even more important, the food always, always comes out hot and looking like it does in the pictures. This is one of the few fast food restaurants that takes pride in their work. The last time I had Carl's Jr. was when they had a store in Pearlridge. I was a bit skeptical as it's combined with a gas station but that didn't stop us from trying. Once you enter you'll see a half gas station and half fast food joint which is pretty cool. We ordered a few things to try it out since were usually not in the area. I ordered the western bacon burger ($6.59) onion rings ($3.69) waffle fries ($3.69) and 2 piece chick tenders ($6.39). It was not just at all as far as the food section. A lot of customers came to get gas/things from the gas station. Food was ready quick. The bag was super hot so you know the food was fresh. We tried the waffle fries first and boy was it good. Next was the onion rings and it beat my expectation. Crispy on the outside with a soft onion inside. The burger was pretty good and bacon was crispy. Chicken tenders were probably my fave but 2 for $6 is a bit pricey. It is more on the expensive side when it comes to fast food restaurant but they do provide different combos and sides which makes you forget about the price tag. Food is freshly made and there are a few sitting areas if you plan on dining in. read more

Cheeseburger in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii... I actually was trying to get a free coffee (for T-Mobile customers) from Circle K which shares this location with Carl's Jr. Since I wasn't able to get a free coffee, I thought that I should get something from Carl's Jr. Located on Nimitz Highway, I entered from the back on Puuhale Place. It's safer and less busy. Service from Angie was super excellent! She noticed that I looked confused and asked if I needed help. I told her that I wanted the free coffee from T-Mobile and Circle K, but there's a Carl's Jr. here! Haha! I decided to get a #1: Famous Star with cheese (cheeseburger). Angie said that's her favorite. LOL! I was downloading the app for Rewards when Angie gave me some coupons. She said to come back and visit her on Wednesday or Sunday because she's a part-time worker. Okay! The Famous Star was quite good! I liked the fresh lettuce, onion, and tomato. The ketchup and mayo made it messy, but tasty. The char-broiled flavor was a winner! I guess I will be returning this month since the coupons expire on 10-29-22! Hee hee! read more

This place was in an interesting area only because it's part of a gas station. But the place was pretty nice and the customers service was good the cashier was helpful and even brought out our food. I got the western bacon cheeseburger and waffles fries. So the waffles fires was okay I'll probably try the other fries the next time I go. 11/2/25 4.5 stars - Tried the Cali XL priced at $11.49. Brought to cashier's attention the app shows a $5.99 promotional price. Let's see if the app price is updated as not all locations participate and HI prices can be higher. This burger is similar to an In-N-Out Double-Double except the Carl's Jr. buns are not toasted so lacking the nice crunch and the sauce is a bit blander. The patties were also missing that charbroiled taste. Waffle fries here are still better than In-N-Out fries and the onion rings were good. Food was ready for pick up when I arrived. Located in the 76 gas station, carl's jr is behind the gas pump, in the convenience store. It's ok, but really small, and not sure how they cook their food in the back, but don't feel too comfortable eating in the store as well as it is located all by itself, so no one stop shopping. If I was to get gas at the 76, maybe I would take out, but otherwise, probably not visit here again. Don't think I'll go here again. Service was ok, but the tables were not clean, and it feels too cramp eating in there. There's a few parking stalls as well. read more

For a gas station Carl's Jr, they serve fresh and tasty burgers and fries. The fries are 100x way better than ordering at a Mcdonald's franchise. It's freshly fried, extra crispy and well-seasoned. I ordered the Big Carl burger and it's on point. The lettuce are not soggy and burger sauce is good AF. Service was great too. I will, in some cases, take them to Carl's Jr. Being located in a gas station may seem less than ideal, but don't be fooled, it is excellent. Burgers were made in a gas station off the freeway after Nimitz access road on the right heading west side going towards the airport viaducts. We always wanted to go there to check out and order some grubs. The burger sizes were humongous. Combos come in reg, medium or large. Watch out for prices, especially when they give you the option of medium of large. It will add on to the price of a original regular combo. They don't substitute sides, it's an add on charge switching from fries to onion rings. Again , take your time reviewing the menu before ordering. Western Burger- needed more bbq sauce and ask for mayo inside. It was dry for me. Please ask for extra saucy please!!! Onion rings- were bland, no taste and a harder crunch as I'm use to. It was hard crunchy when chewing an onion ring. I don't know what type of batter, but I did'nt like it. Mood: full Will I go back? We came here to pick up burgers, fries and drink for dinner before going home. I believe this is the only location on the island. I have been here before and the burgers are great. Fries are meh. Drinks were good. There's a lot to choose from. Coke products only which I definitely like. They take card or cash.. This is a two in one location. It's also a gas station and snack place where you can get drinks and snacks but inside you can order your burgers as well. Decent burgers. My daughter agrees that the fries aren't good. Food is excellent here. I especially like their onion rings. The taco salad was good but not great. The burgers were also good. Better than McDonalds for sure. Took away one star for the vagrant lady going through the rubbish and screaming outside by the gas pumps. When it comes to chicken tenders, I can be pretty critical lol. I either hate them or love them. What's not to love about fresh, juicy, perfectly battered pieces of white meat chicken tenders!? Carl's Jr. probably has some of the best chicken tenders on the island. I'm even comparing them to Raising Cane's...and while Cane's May have better dipping sauce the chicken can go either way. They always make the food as you order, we have never gotten fried food that has been sitting under a warmer. Also, they have criss cut/waffle fries!! This Carl's Jr. is located inside 76 gas station right off Nimitz before you jump on H1 west. It's not in the best location, so just be aware of your surroundings - I've seen my fare share of crazies. BUT it's a-ok to stop by every once in a long while for some bomb chicken tenders! I was going to give it a 3 stars... but then I remembered that I finished the whole burger and I can't expect much since it's in a gas station... Anyways, I'm someone who usually doesn't frequent fast food places. Mainly because I got food poisoning once. I also don't eat meat... so the choices are limited. However, Carl's Jr. released a plant-based burger so I had to try it. $12 later I ate a plant-based burger at a gas station. $12!?!? When did fast food get so expensive? My husband and I heard that Carl's Jr. now offers the Beyond Burger, so we headed there last night to try it out. This Carl's Jr. is located in the Circle K/76 gas station on Nimitz. The menu isn't limited in spite of the location. They have Carl's Jr.'s signature burgers, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches and various sides (natural cut fries, criss-cut fries, onion rings). The Beyond Burger Famous Star is $3 more than its meat counterpart, making the combo about $12. Quite pricey for fast food. I am not sure if you can substitute the Beyond patty for the other burgers; I'll ask next time I go. The burger was a good size, and tasted just like the regular beef Famous Star (with the iceberg lettuce, onion, tomato and sauce). Here to try the Froot Loop donuts. It is available right at the cashier counter. It taste and smells like just like Froot Loop!, my favorite cereal. You won't find it on the menu, it's at the counter in a glass showcase. If there isn't any, ask the cashier, they will get it for you from the back! Don't forget something to drink with it so you can wash it down. It's kind of sweet, but I'm not complaining. read more

It's so strange to me that this is the only Carl's Jr on the island, but this just means it's more important to try this rare chain! I think I've had Carl's Jr once in my life in California, and that was when I was a child, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This location is tucked away in a gas station across from Sand Island, a shared counter in the mini mart. Although it was empty when I stepped in, 5 more people ordered as I waited for my food, so business seems steady. I didn't know where to start on the menu but they are running a special right now - buy a prime rib burger or burrito combo and get a respective burger or burrito for free! I opted for a small single prime rib burger combo (10.77), which also comes in double and 1/2 lb. My first bite impression was - soggy. The bottom bun was soaked, but further investigation revealed chopped caramelized onions! IMHO, these should go on top with between the prime rib and burger to prevent soggy buns, which honestly might turn off texture eaters. The burger itself had a nice charbroiled flavored similar to BK, but the consistency was a bit chunky - maybe slightly overcooked. The prime rib was tough, but not as tough as I was expecting. Some pieces pulled apart with bites and some didn't. The cheese sauce was light, but it was perfect that way - enough presence without offending the main flavors. The fries were good, slightly stale as if they had been sitting out a bit, but crispy and umami starchy on the inside like the old BK fries. Better than Wendy's but not as good as McDs. They have a soda fountain with Coke products including the ever rare Cherry Coke. Overall it was a decent value with the free burger, although I'm not sure if that's an LTO clearance or a pandemic sale. Prices seem like they're on the high side for fast food, but I'd come back to try it again at least one more time. read more

Too bad this is the only Carls jr. I think on Oahu, located inside the gas station on Nimitz. Place is clean and lota of options to choose from on the menu. My personality favorite is the fried zucchini and taco salad. The taco salad is literally inside a big Crispy taco bowl. The workers are nice and very patient. Will come back for sure read more
