We found a new boba and specialty coffee drinks in Northridge thanks to our child. Excellent customer service and consistent in providing both excellent customer service and really delicious milk tea and specialty iced coffee drinks. Thank you Angel. As soon as we walked into the establishment we were greeted and welcomed. The baristas answered all our questions regarding ingredients and food allergies. Also, plenty of parking spots available. Inside the establishment there's plenty of huge seats like couches while waiting for your drinks. Many just hanging out with friends playing board games while sipping their milk teas and specialty iced coffee drinks. The milk teas and specialty iced coffee drinks we've tried and enjoyed are the Ube Coffee, Coffee Brûlée, Bobo Coffee, Caramel Milk Tea, and Strawberry Milk Tea. We enjoyed the specialty coffee drinks because they were not too sweet. You can taste the espresso along with the ube and brulee yet it's not overwhelming taste. It's a good balance. We added Bobo The Boba to our list of go to milk teas and iced coffee drinks in the SFV and have shared this place to our social circles. I have looked all over for a boba shop in Northridge with unique drinks and high quality service and flavors. This shop serves exactly that. I got matcha man, which was a mix of strawberry and matcha. I LOVE matcha and have tried many. This drink was probably one of the best ones as it wasn't too bitter, it was fresh, and the matcha is ACTUALLY high quality. I love how the strawberries were not too sweet and weren't artificial at all. The drink even had little pieces of strawberry too! The staff were really nice and patient. I love the decor such as the seating and posters. I love the attention to detail! Overall, I would love to make this my new to-go boba spot!!!!! read more

First time here and disappointed. Saw the dirty sodas sign outside went in to see what flavors they had and surprising they didn't have it on the menu only on the kiosk. Proceeded to order a cookies and cream smoothie - the name should be a chocolate smoothie that's it. No cookies are used in the making of this smoothie. All chocolate with a vanilla cold foam drizzle on the side. If that's what you want cool. But nowhere have I been where a cookies and cream smoothie means a chocolate smoothie. read more

It's a cool boba spot, but I come here for the Taiyaki, which is crunchy fish-shaped waffles with yummy fillings. They make the waffles from scratch, fresh to order, right in front of you. I tried the ones with cheese filling, the nutella filling and the custard filling and all 3 were extremely delicious. The waffles are so crunchy and then you hit that warm, soft filling within and it's a perfect bite. I usually get 5 of these waffles to go for $10 and bring them home. My kids absolutely love them. Saw an Instagram ad about $3 drinks if you download their app. Of course I had to stop by out of temptation. Finding parking was fairly easy since it is located in a big plaza. Attempting to order the $3 deal after showing my app, the staff member was very misleading with his speech regarding the discount vs welcome bonus (-30%) and the advertised $3 drinks. I spent an extra 5 minutes just fumbling in the app until he eventually said it's cheaper to order for $3 in person... For drinks, I had the Thai Tea and Green Thai Tea, two of each, and all four drinks at 25% sugar. The hands must've been heavy, the machines must've been off, or the buttons wrongly pressed, but these were all as sweet as 100% at other places. Between the four drinks, they were more a chore to drink than a treat to enjoy. I also ordered it with boba, but none of the drinks came with boba... And in packing the drinks, there was no care in placing the drinks. Not only did they just hand me the bag, but there were no straws put inside - oops! Not even a reminder... I tried Bobo the Boba for the first time and was neither surprised or disappointed by what I got. I ordered on the kiosk, trying to download the app for the 30% off your first drink offer, but the service in the plaza is quite spotty, so I couldn't. I ordered the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with boba and crystal boba. The oolong flavor was pretty mild, and I recall seeing one of the baristas putting the shaker bottle in the microwave, which was a bit odd. The boba didn't have too much brown sugar flavor but was nice and chewy. The crystal boba was pretty standard. Overall, not bad but would probably choose somewhere else next time. read more

My boys wanted a drink before heading to the baseball fields, so we discovered this cool little spot in a small shopping center. There was a lot of parking on a weekend around 3 PM, and the place was empty until we arrived. We were warmly greeted by two staff members who helped us navigate the menu, offering to customize a few items to suit my kids' preferences. While waiting for our drinks, my kids and I enjoyed exploring the shop, laughing at the cool decorations, posters, and gaming machines in the corner. We loved the layout, with long benches, wooden stools, and mini tables for sitting or eating. It's a very cool place! Our drinks arrived pretty quickly, but we noticed a large group of people rushing in, filling up the shop before I could finish taking pictures, showing that it's kind of popular in the area. For the drinks, I ordered lychee fruit tea with green tea and lychee jelly. My boys chose mango slushies, one with strawberry popping and the other with mango popping. All the drinks were good and not too sweet, but the mango slushie with strawberry popping was the hit! The flavors blended perfectly, and I found myself sneaking sips from his drink most of the time (the drinks were large for a 5-year-old, so don't feel bad for him lol). Stopped in here and was able to try taiyaki for the first time! We got two of them, one Nutella and one mozzarella and parm w Italian spice. The mozzarella one wasn't really great to me, but the Nutella one was delicious. We also got some boba, a strawberry banana smoothie and a cookie and cream smoothie. I picked dragon slayer off the speciality menu, it's a combination of lychee slush, dragon fruit and mango bites and I added in the boba. I've explored the menu quite a bit and have been both pleasantly surprised and disappointed in what I ordered. As long as you're in the mood for a sweet treat, you'll find something here that suits you. My favorite is the Halo Halo. It's been getting hot lately and my friend recommended Bobo the boba, so I went to get something refreshing. This store is located in a plaza with shared parking that includes honey baked ham, Starbucks, etc. The store itself is quite small with a few table stools. You'll be able to hangout if you are a small group. For my order, I got the taro titan with boba. I don't usually prefer my drinks super sweet, so I asked for 75% sugar. That was to my preference. My daughter and I came here today around 4:45pm & it wasn't too busy. We love the couches and small tables they had. It felt comfortable to sit at for the short time we waiting for our food/drinks. I wish we were a little more adventurous on our picks today but we got the brown sugar milk tea with boba and roasted oolong milk tea with aloe vera. To me, I have to try to get the simple drinks first because if you mess up that simple milk tea drink I wouldn't go back. I appreciate that we can choose the sweetness. We also got the Nutella, Oreo, and Nutella banana taiyaki. I love Somi somi & not a lot of places make their taiyaki as good, but it was super delicious! This is a nice little boba spot right next to Starbucks in the Galleria Market plaza. It looks new and there is seating available inside. It was nice and super cold inside. Ordered the chamoy slush and lychee black tea. The chamoy was a little too sweet for me but the flavor did start to grow on me. The lychee black tea was good and didn't have a strange artificial flavor like I've had at other places. Reminds me of Ding Tea. I would come back here if I'm in the area. False advertising! Signed up with the app, suppose to receive a free drink reward, got the reward on my app but every time I try to redeem it they keep telling me their system isn't working/processing rewards at the moment. We've gone about 7x. We gave up on using rewards and pay everytime. Today my daughter received a coupon to her account for %15off we went in and (of course) the cashier said it's still not accepting rewards (how convient, for them) so the system always declines to accept rewards, so what's the point of sending them out? It's FALSE ADVERTISING!! I DONT like to support companies that don't honor their coupons/ rewards. The boba here is AMAZING. I'm so so glad this nee spot opened up so close to home. Can't believe I didn't get to try it until recently. Ordered the Bobo King and Strawberry Milk Tea. They do a very good job of layering up the different components of the drink so you're not constantly digging around and mixing it up. Their foam is the perfect texture and perfect salty sweet. Their strawberry puree tasted so fresh! Boba texture is perfect as well. Since it is my first time ordering I didn't know what to expect yet so I ordered at full sweetness. Both the drinks were a bit too sweet for my liking, I believe it's the boba syrup itself so i'll probably get half sweet for the future. These drinks are quite rich so I will only be getting these every once in a while but i'd love to try the lighter slushes and teas for more refreshing everyday choices. Was so excited to try the taiyaki but was pretty disappointed when I took a bit and they tasted just like storebought pancake batter. The fillings also weren't evenly distributed. Generally only an inch or two of filling in each one. Was really hoping for more of that chewy mochi batter consistency I get at other places. In summary, boba is amazing go try it. Came on a weds around 8:40pm. Ordered on the app, but also you can order in person. I hate boba places that don't offer in person support. Call me old school , but I may want to discuss when ordering at a new place. There were 3 employees when I arrived. The lady acknowledged us and asked if we were ready to order. I told her I orders on the app. One drink was ready, and the second would be ready soon. I told her it was my first visit, didn't know when this location open. I asked about favorites, and she informed me a few. Super friendly, she cared. When the second boba was complete, another lady handed to us. And also said - we have extra drinks done if you want any 2 - for free ! She explained the flavors, and we gladly accepted two . Came home with 4 boba drinks ! That never happens, haha.
