Been here a few times and I want to share my experience: 1) Inconsistent stormy drinks. I ordered the taro while my friend ordered the matcha. My friend's drink was delicious and smooth; it went well with the cheese cream. On the other hand, my stormy was icy (literal ice chunks). So spending almost $6-7 on it did not feel worth. 2) When I ordered the lychee green tea with no topping, the drink had SO much ice. I do understand it gets extremely hot in Riverside, however maybe more than half of my cup was ice. Again, not worth the price. Another thing to mention: they don't fill up the cup when you get 30% ice level or no ice. It was just weird to me because this isn't the case with any other boba places anywhere. The employees are friendly and the drinks don't take that long to come out. But I still recommend going to other places like Ding, Krak, 7 Leaves, etc. read more

I visited R & B Tea today in Riverside and was very impressed. The milk tea is the best milk tea I have ever had. Plus it comes in a neat reusable cup. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the interior and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

I've been here twice and I've enjoyed my drinks so far. The fruit teas are more on the sweeter side so I do recommend going down on the sweetness level. However, I will have to take away two stars just because of the people behind the counter. When one worker was in the middle of making a drink, and the phone rang, they ran over to pick it up and after they were done, they went straight back to making the drink without washing their hands. The other worker who was doing register did not wash their hands either and instead began to help make drinks ...there is a hand washing station right behind the register. No offense, but it's common sense.. we are still in the middle of a pandemic and there are lots of bacteria on the items they touched. read more

They're still open even though it's COVID but it's obviously takeout only, which I don't mind as long as I get my boba. I got the passion fruit green tea with aloe vera and it was so refreshing. Upon arrival the cashier (in a very discouraging tone) informed us it was busy and they were backed up in orders. We didn't mind and continued to order. While waiting, the music for uncomfortably loud. The cashier proceeded to discourage other customers to order when they walked in. I came by last weekend and purchased two drinks both of them were good. One of them however was not to my request. I brought it up to the their attention and they were able to fix it for me. I went tonight for some boba with my family. This was probably the worst customer service I've had in my life! The cashier (young Caucasian male) was very rude and disrespectful. He made me feel very uncomfortable and I did not want to be there. So he charged me for my fries and drink as normal and then turned around and said he will not be giving me my food and the exit is right there pointing at the door he didn't explain as I was confused. I then asked WHAT and WHY very confused he said because one of my family members had her mask off her nose. The taro stormy is my absolute favorite! my family and I went in yesterday and it took roughly 20-30 mins to get our drinks and a couple of my slushes were melted from sitting on the counter, we also ordered the cheeto cheese fries and there was hardly any cheese on my fries, the lady with the blonde and teal hair was super agitated that there was to many orders and didn't know how to handle the orders that were coming in, and she snapped at her coworker to ensure the guest that "there was going to be a 15 minute wait because there was only two of them" they also focused more on DoorDash orders then the guest that were actually in the building, I still give this place a good rating because there product is delicious, I feel like the boba place is super understaffed, and under managed, I'm not sure if the blonde lady is a manager but if she is that's no way to come across to the people there and to her coworkers she was super unprofessional, and this wasn't the first time I've seen her be rude. read more

Fresh taro milk tea is great! There's actual taro paste in the drink, but not gritty at all! Been here twice and the boba has been perfectly cooked both times. It even stay chewy after having left my drink in the fridge for a few hours. Bonus: they let you adjust the sweetness for most of the drinks. read more

I've been to many boba places around Riverside and I can say that R&B Tea, despite being new, is my favorite. The sheer variety and taste of the drinks is above and beyond. I personally love the horchata with boba-a combination I didn't know I needed! Ok I love Boba and Riverside has a new Boba place. I have to say this place is great. The staff was friendly and answered any questions I had about their drinks. Moreover, they have many variety of drinks like fruit teas, milk teas, teas and a drink called stormy. They also serve food too. I decided on a fruit tea called the Hawaiian. I loved it and it comes in a big cup filled with pieces of fruit. I asked for no ice and 70% sugar and it was done right. However, the only problem I really had was the amount of space their was in cup. It was not filled to top. Maybe because I ordered no ice but still should fill to top of cup. I will say the owner reached out very quickly to make the situation right. When I went back, I had much better service, (not sure if it's because the employees were expecting me) but it is what you would normally expect from a boba shop. The drinks were made fine and tasted good. My preferred drink at R&B is the cereal milk tea can't go wrong with that order. read more

I definitely like this place and their staff. I have been using DoorDash and twice my order is wrong. I asked for black tea instead green, not complicated instructions and yet it's done wrong. Had seen this place several times and finally decided to try it after my curiosity got the best of me. Was deciding between the Hokkaido or the Horchata milk tea as these are my two favorite milk teas so i ended up with the hokkaido. It wasn't as sweet as i usually like it but i love my milk tea extremely sweet and i still enjoyed the flavor. The boba itself was probably one of the best i've had. It wasn't too brittle and chewy like some other places, the consistency was perfect. The strawberry horchata was amazing , definitely hit the spot for my love of horchata and fruity drinks. The workers were also very kind, making jokes and dancing to the music.
