I was lucky enough to get Rocky as my barista and she was just so wholesome:) she gave me and my friend a photo opp and was ready to fix our drinks to our liking if we didn't like it which I've never experienced before!! Their pastries were so BOMB, I got the cocoa muffin and it has a really good filling that just tops it off! Once we ordered, I noticed the ceremonial matcha is made with a handheld electric frother, and the cold foams are premade in jars and simply added on top (not made fresh). When we received our matchas, let's just say it tasted exactly like it looked: mostly milk with very little matcha flavor, topped with subpar cold foam. This is by far the most expensive, worst-tasting matcha I've ever had. I can usually find a way to justify things or give a place some grace, but this was beyond help.

They make a huge variety of tea blends, available in tiny pouches so you can sample lots of different types without making a commitment to a huge bag. There is a shop cat who lives here named Pepper. She seems clean and friendly, and the teas are hung up on the wall and not placed on a table so you won't get litter paws all over your tea leaves. Maybe it's just something to be aware of if you have cat allergies or just dislike them.

I love R&B from Garden Grove to Corona. They usually make my drinks fast and delicious. Last night, after waiting for 30 minutes for my 3 drinks, Lychee with Aloe vera, passion fruit with aloe vera, and horchata, the drinks did not taste the same compared to the other locations. The drinks were about $5/cup so I think I should expect my drinks to be enjoyable. I know we all start somewhere and I do not blame the guy. He kept looking at the wall next to him for minutes. Maybe looking for a recipe which no one tells him about? At least he said "thanks for waiting" at the end and my wife was pretty upset because of the long wait and bad drinks. -1 for services -2 for 3 bad drinks +1 because he said "thanks for waiting" at the end. read more

What a great place to stop by! I always order jasmine tea from every boba shops, but this place has variety tea options that I can choose. After about five minutes, my boba had come out. The popcorn chicken took about fifteen minutes. I was very disappointed with both of my items. Their popcorn chicken, although it was crunchy, it lacked any flavor or seasoning. I couldn't taste pepper or salt, either! I had to douse it in sweet and sour sauce. As for my honeydew milk tea with boba, it was very sweet and you can taste the honeydew flavors, but the boba had absolutely no flavor to it. It was also extremely chewy, like chewing gum. I was quite disappointed in my food and drink, and had tossed both halfway through. I understand why college students frequent this place due to the pricing and quickness, but it's not for me.
