Stopped in on way home from Jamestown after not wanting to wait in like at Bob Evans. I knew there was this little restaurant for years in Randolph, but never went. My breakfast (The Sunrise Sampler), included sausage gravy biscuits, eggs, home fries and two pancakes. No complaints about my breakfast, but nothing that really stood out for me. My wife had the special 'Gingerbread Pancakes', which she really enjoyed. The plastic table covers were tacky and sticky. They probably should just remove them. Inside the restaurant there was an Amish Buggy where you could eat inside of it on a table. Several customers took pictures of the buggy while were eating. I have yet to try lunch or dinner there. As for breakfast...it was average. My wife would probably give it four stars, but I'll go three.

Good service. Solid diner food with reasonable prices. Decor fits the area with a country feel.

The "duke" burger with a side of fries and garlic sauce.

The Duke burger is big, messy and yummy. I also enjoyed the house garlic sauce for dipping my fries in. The vibe is small town diner. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food at my table. Food was a little pricey, but portions were big, so in the end it levels out.

My coworker got a steak hoagie with fries and I got a mammoth hot dog with fries. Yummy food very country kichy. Slow service but very friendly

R & M restaurant was a nice pleasant place to dine at, I ordered the Duke burger with fries and it was everything I imagined, delicious from to initial bite until the end, I did not leave hungry. Sandy Beach special.

Philly Steak Sandwich with peppers, onions, and cheese. Served with French fries.

I like their ice cream a lot. They have a great breakfast. Good pancakes. Steak hoagies are good too. I stop in while I pass through.

Pancakes and coffee are only so-so. I expect excellent coffee and pancakes from a breakfast place.

I was a little taken back when on the board it stated they had a sloppy Joe and ff special for $17. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms which were enormous and very good. They were the size of a cue ball. Hubby ordered the steak salad special and loved it. Loaded with large pieces of tender steak and he really enjoyed it. He also had a pinia colada which seemed like it was from a pre-made gallon jug. I tasted it and neither of us enjoyed it. I had the stuffed halibut or haddock I forget which. It was on the dry side. I guess I should've went for the extra charge and got it in garlic butter. The stuffing in it had very thin long straps of imitation crab which was gross. Would have been better w/out it. MUCH better. Nice baked potato and mediocre bagged salad in my opinion. Server was nice and friendly and the portion sizes were large, but overpriced.

In short, they nailed getting me my caffeine fix! I walked in around 9am on a Sunday morning and was able to walk right up to the counter and order. The young woman who took care of me was very nice, friendly! I ordered a large iced coffee with almond milk (there was an upcharge for adding non-dairy milk). I was happy with the amount of ice to coffee - More coffee than ice, I was a very happy guy! I did see their food menu but had already grabbed (free) breakfast at the hotel I was staying at, but I would love to try one of their sandwiches if, when I'm in Jamestown again. Inside was spacious and clean, with several tables & chairs as well as a long table along the exterior window, perfect for people watching. I noticed a couple tables and chairs outside in front as well. Crown Street Roasting Company is a solid, local coffee shop with young, friendly staff and solid options to get your caffeine fix, as well as an appetizing breakfast food menu.

My favorite thing on the menu is the turkey and bacon sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, and apricot jam on your choice of bagel. It's a perfect balance of sweet and salty and big enough to share if you're looking for a lighter start to your day. On this most recent trip my husband ordered the apricot and feta toast along with the pollinator latte, which I think was a seasonal special. The toast comes with dried rosemary that was a little heavy handed for my tastes, but he loved it. The latte had honey and lavender in it, a bee's dream. Highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area.
