This is one of the most honest mechanic businesses I. The area. I went here on a recommendation and I was able to an appointment in fairly easily. My car had a check engine light one which would not recognize that the part was installed. Rob did the diagnosis and saw nothing but could not assure me that every whaling would be smooth from here on out due to aftermarket , cheap install done by a nationally knowledge mechanic shop.. After all the tests all that was done was the check engine light was turned off and everything was running like it was supposed to be. read more

Dropped off our pilot for AC cooling issues---- they quickly identified the problem and promptly fixed it. Kept in contact on progress and offered helpful tips for future maintenance of the car. I was a loyal customer to Rob and Nancy Talbott, taking my only vehicle to them for years and spending several thousand dollars in repairs and trusting with my only form of transportation. Even with being a loyal customer and paying my bills on time, I was treated with disrespect and incompetent rudeness this last year. I had an older truck with a couple thousand miles on it, I maintain it for the most part on my own. I became alarmed when I noticed that the vehicle started to use oil, not leak or burn, just use oil and the engine began to shake around 2000 RPMs. I took it to R&N like a loyal customer would. Rob Talbott treated me with absolute disdain, like second class citizen, and talked at me like a complete and utter, unintelligible moron. I will admit first hand that I am not mechanically minded, however I do hold two bachelor's degrees in science, and have been employed for medical research for over three years. He reiterated multiple times that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my vehicle after he supposedly THOROUGHLY inspected it and told me personally that old vehicles just use oil. He belittled me in the fact that, I quote, "You're just not mechanically minded, are ya missy?", and that I just had to take his word, as I was just a little lady who could not apprehend what he was talking about, that all this car stuff was over my head. Come to find out the oil loss was due to loose valve covers and once tightened down, viola no more oil loss. Such a simple fix as tightening down some bolts that are right there, in plain sight even and that were loose enough to turn with your bare fingers. As for the shaking in engine another mechanic found the that the harmonic balancer had corroded, you know the main barring in the bottom of the engine that connects to the crankshaft. NOTHING WRONG... you be the judge. read more

I have taken my car (1990 Nissan 240sx) There for the past 4 years and no where else. There they have done everything for me from simple brake work to swapping in a new motor (Sr20det) I am beyond satisfied with all of their work being very prompt,detailed, and professional. Rob,Dennis and Justin are each brilliant, trustworthy mechanics and when teamed together NO job is too small or too big. Nancy is always keeping me updated on the work that is being done, calling me as soon as possible with the diagnosis, and options I have for a solution. They have worked on my familys' car's as well, both import and domestic. They too are happy with the work that R&N do. Without R&N Id be paying outrageous prices to help keep an old car on the road or forced to sell it. Whether you have a new or old car they can get the job done with very fair prices.
