We like to come up here to get wings. There is nothing fancy about the place. It is clean, the service is good and the food comes out fast. You can get the wings here breaded but they are usually served naked. This is a more healthy option but sometimes breaded is good. There are a lot of sauce options, maybe to many, then you can add whatever heat level you like. We love the garlic parm and the carribean jerk. We get these every time but this time we tried the smoky garlic and this was a win too. There are not to many things really fancy in Hilliard. Simple and good. Called and was placed on a five minute hold hung up called back was asked to be placed on another hold. I refused so the rude female gave the phone to the manager . I then placed my order & was told 30 minute wait when I received my food that is what I got a Philly that was not chopped just fried like a piece of bologna so I had to smell of it to see what it was && the fried pickles were cold and full of grease ! Tried to make it right with the pickles and they was still full of grease so I requested a refund to the be asked what the problem was .. like who really pays $15 for greasy food and then sits and eats it !? I'm finishing it really depends on the time of day. The daytime wings are not good, I've ordered twice for lunch and never again. The nighttime wings are good but sometimes it appears they dump all the lemon pepper on the tray after playing. Most times though the lemon pepper wings are good. Well informed and checked on us just enough times to not be bothersome.. We don't normally eat wings very often but it smelled so good in there that we went for a 10 wing basket done in a medium hot sauce and served with an amazing home made ranch dressing! The last night of my stay at a local Airbnb brought us to the local wing spot. Whew was it busy! We luckily got a table and sat down to find out Wednesday is $0.79 wing night. Done. We tried it with one of their in-house-made sauces. Delicious! We added a side of chili fries, I would not recommend them. I ordered the 20 shrimp (blackened) special with cheese grits (of course) and sweet potato tots with a side of cinnamon butter. I would order this over and over again. It is surprising how few little spots we have like this in Jacksonville. Not over done, just good food at reasonable prices. The server was on point. Food here is fan-tabulous! Wings was on point with the crispness on the outside and juicy on the inside. I got the traditional once. All food was nice and hot. Corn nuggets was great too! my daughter and her family went to R n R wings a week ago and brought home a shrimp dinner for me and it was delicious and lightly fried,so I chose to go there for lunch with my fiance and the food was terrible asked for lightly fried shrimp and chicken tenders and he got shrimp and fish also asked lightly fried everything was very dark and crunchy hard and the fish e got was very thin and small and the hush puppy you could have bounced off the walls and the baked potato wasn't even done and only gave us 8 little shrimp each on plate that ost 16.99 each I was very disappointed or a good waitress you would have never even brought that to a customers table cause we specifically told her lightly fried and when I asked to send baked potato back n hush puppies she didn't say a word so cost 40 bucks for something I wouldn't have paid 5 bucks for only thing good was salad and sweet potato tots and green beans .. read more

Went for lunch with a medium sized group (7 people). The service was attentive and quick, and our waitress was great. We waited a while for the food, I think because our party size was larger than normal. I got the lunch special for shrimp and fresh fish with french fries. Came in Saturday around 600 and it took nearly an hour for our food. So that was neat. Our waitress was handling what looked like three large tables while the other wait staff had 1-3 small tables each. Refills and table service was rare. At one point, everyone at my table needed refills, our waitress was non existent and there were 4 members of the wait staff casually hanging out at the register. Would of been cool if they stepped in to help our waitress out. I got my shrimp and it was cold. The rest of my families food was ok. There was no remorse from the lady at the register when I brought up the long wait times and lack of table service. I feel horrible for even spending money and supporting this establishment. I am assuming as it's out in Hilliard, the dining capital of the world, with little to no competition is the only reason it stays open. Once again -- this place is horrible. I may go out of my way to do one of those "adopt a mile" things near Hilliard and have it say "don't waste your money at the R&R restaurant" as I am a bit petty but I am at least committed to the craft. read more

Came back home to Hilliard from California. Not many options in Hilliard. Tried out and RR with my family. We ordered take out, called ahead, 20 minutes to get food ready. We ordered chicken wings, chicken salad, and Philly cheesesteak. We picked up our food through the drive through. The girl was really nice so we gave a nice tip. But when we went to check our food order before leaving it was not correct. They gave me a fried chicken sandwich instead of my chicken wings. I'm glad we checked before we left. We were able to get the girls attention after a few minutes of ringing the door bell she finally came to help us and then we had to wait another 10 minutes for the order to be fixed. In the meantime our other food was basically ruined because it was so soggy. Anyways I think if I go here again I will consider eating in rather than take out. Overall the food tasted good besides it being soggy. Next time I will ask them to remake our whole order if it happens again. read more

do you guys have anyone quality check orders when picked up via the drive thru? Everytime we get something via drive thru its NEVER correct. we have over paid for so much in the past several years its sad. Our orders are never right, either its missing stuff, not prepared correctly or all mixed up! we orderd the Rail Salad tonight, no cucumbers and no bacon simple...one would think so.....When we got home it only had little bit of lettuce, cheese. tomatoes, onions, and eggs.....no ham & turkey, just basically all I got was a side salad. I had to use what i had in the fridge to complete the salad...there again overcharged because no one double checked the orders. When we ask for slick, there is no sauce! There again..... over charged! we are to the point we wont ever return to R&R wings at all. Another thing you guys should really label the ranch and blue cheese, we shouldn't have to smell the dressing to figure out what kind it is. someone needs to stop up and fix this place! we wont be recommending R&R to anyone anytime soon. read more

Used to visit here every Friday when we lived here. They moved from their old location to the other side of the parking lot. Much cleaner and nicer. Good as good as ever. Had the cargo chicken salad and my wife had the mini locomotive. Two dinners and two kids meals with drinks for $36! Can't beat it!! read more

01-11-23. We were traveling through and stopped in for lunch, they had customers but were not packed out. Took quite a few minutes to get seated. It took so long for a server to get our drinks and order we were contemplating just leaving as servers were just walking passed our table. Pleasent girl finally took our order and food came out in good time. We both got different flavored chicken wings and strips. The flavored sauce was minimal and poured on the bottom of the plate, then our wings set on top the sauce so they were dry. My chicken was ok and the little bit of sauce was correct flavor. Wife's wings were very over cooked, dry and crunchy. Her little bit of sauce was also the wrong flavor. The French Fries were very good at least. Once the server brought us our food she never came back to the table, we had to ask the hostess for our bill. I used a credit card that I rarely use, the next day I bunch of fraudulent charged were put on my card so I had to cancel the card and go through the dispute process. Could just be a coincidence with the card but I have to wonder. read more
