I'm a tad bit late on this much needed and well deserved review. Came across this venue out of mere luck and let's just say I was a very satisfied customer. Eddie was very accommodating and had us work with Mitush who was heaven sent! For starters, this was the first real big event I have ever had... My only daughter's Sweet 16! So how could we not go all out right? Let's start with the elegance this venue offers. The chandeliers and the lighting give this place life. The idea of fog and sparklers did make me nervous but were a beautiful touch during our mother daughter dance. The food! Let's just say our guests were more than satisfied with all of it. We opted for the birria and pasta for the kids. Mitush offered us a wide variety of foods which did make our decision making a bit difficult in a good way. I must admit, I was a bit of a spaz, but having Mitush facilitate all our wants and needs was made this experience more enjoyable. My daughter and her chambelanes were able to practice their choreography, which was the highlight of the party. He not only was accommodating with us and our set-up, but he was very attentive towards our guests as well. Give the man a raise Eddie! This venue will for sure be one to consider for future events. We had party for my newlywed daughter and son in law at R banquet and I couldn't be happier for going with R banquet. Mitush who helped us with everything from the decor to the menu was simply awesome! All the guests were raving about the food and the ambiance. The banquet hall itself is so beautiful that all we needed to do was get centerpieces for the table. The florist that Mitush suggested did an absolutely amazing job with the centerpieces and the backdrop. Additionally there is plenty of parking that is part of the property so that itself is very convenient. No matter how well a party is planned everything depends on the food. I have provided services to your site for the past two years without receiving any payment. There are outstanding invoices dating back to 2023 that remain unpaid. Each time you promise a payment, it never materializes. I've had to reach out to Mitush, who is just an employee, and someone whose trust you seem to be abusing. In return for his loyal service, he gets harassed by vendors for payment. We have an outstanding balance, and it needs to be resolved immediately. I have called your number, left messages, and sent text messages, all of which have been ignored. At this point, there are no more amicable approaches. I have called and texted to inform you of the outstanding debt. You have deceived my trust and lied to me in several ways. This is "finesse" at its worst. The last payment promised to me was two months ago, and we have received nothing in return for our services. This is unpaid labor. As a business owner myself, I extended you the courtesy of waiting for payment several times. All I needed was a small payment to maintain trust in your word. Instead, all we received were lies and unanswered phone calls and text messages. Food: 4 stars Only reason is a 4 star is because we're not allowed to take the food that's leftover, food is delicious but only downside is that you're not allowed to take the extra food you paid for. Communication: 2 star It was great at the beginning, my text, calls, emails would get answered but as we got closer to my event date the communication became less, which became stressful for me. I'm just glad my wedding coordinator got involved, with her they would answer calls or text fairly quick. I just feel they might need some extra help for things to run a bit smoother. They were always nice, never were they rude once you got a hold of them. Customer service: 5 star customer service was good once you got a hold of them, they were helpful and helped with advise of what might look good and not. Just make sure you read your contract well and ask questions don't assume a service is part of your package when it's not for example cake cutting. Make sure all your vendors are licensed and have insurance, they do require that from them. This review is long overdue, however, I had the worse experience communicating with the owner, Eddie. Dealing with him was seriously one the worst part of my wedding. His pricing is outrageous, especially for an Indian venue. During the original meeting, he lured us with all sorts of tactics to appease my in laws and acted as though he would give us a great deal. At the end of that meeting, we did not come to an agreement regarding the open bar, which he reassured that we had time to make up our mind. 3 months before our event, he messaged me asking if I wanted to pay the remainder of the balance early for a discount, to which I declined and stated that it was not due until 1 month prior to the event, per the contract. I suppose this might have angered him, and he took away the original offer regarding the open bar later on and made things difficult for us. In addition, I asked him for vendor suggestions because I did not know any locally, to which he stated he was "working on it", and never replied to me for months. In the end, I managed to find my own vendors. At the final meeting 1 month prior to my wedding date, he didn't even have the decency to show up and had his manager manage everything else while changing his mind about the original offer for the bar. During the wedding, the staff definitely worked hard, food and service were both great, and the venue looked beautiful. The manager Mitush was always easy to work with and approachable, however, be warned of the owner Eddie and his business practices. I thought the prices were a bit high compare to other Indian restaurants but the portions were huge! The food was great and flavorful and it was more than warm enough so I didn't have to reheat anything, which was a plus too. I should have done this review a few weeks ago, but got sidetracked. My stepson and daughter-in-law had their wedding reception at R banquet and I cannot express how impressed I was. Marie and the entire staff was so on top of everything, from coordinating all the typical functions that go on during a wedding reception to serving the hors d'oeuvres with a friendly smile to clearing the plates. Anything that was needed was taken care of. Now on to the food, it was delicious. The bride and groom decided on birria, chicken, rice and a few hors d'oeuvres all of the food was delicious. But that's not what I was impressed the most with - the level of service was impeccable. I have been to some of the fanciest restaurants around and I have to say the entire staff went so far above and beyond that I was in awe.
