I LOVE LOVE THIS SPOT! Been a customers here for months whenever i feel indian i hit up this place. Price has definitely risen up a lot ( paid $18 for a 3 item plates as of Aug 25') but they really make it worth the price! Employee always loaded up the plate with curry and rice, this plate can easily seperated into 3 portions for me easily! Pairs it with their 2 giant pieces of naan fill u up quick! The quality is great too, very flavorful, creamy and sometimes spicy ( depends on the curry). Samosas r jumbo n crunchy, worth the price of only $5 for 2 giant pieces. Very Reasonably price! I had their biryani in the past as well and that always slaps as it is packed with flavors, the cumin, the spices from garam masala and they give u huge portion as well with lot of chicken :) i love it! I love these CH franchises, easily one of the best all around in term of both quality and quantities u get. Will continue to support! 9.5/10

Wonderful first visit, very attentive staff and inviting space, had a really great lunch. Really enjoyed the music and tidiness of the restaurant. I ordered the lunch plate that came with 2 items, rice and garlic naan. The Chicken Tikki Masala was so buttery and had so much rich and delicious flavor, the chicken was moist. I also ordered the spicy eggplant, this was heavenly. I savored every bite and ate the entire plate. I will definitely be back, I see why this place gets a lot of buzz. Definitely a place you want to continue to support.

I am so happy that there's finally quality, authentic Indian food in Whittier! Curry Hut hits the spot every single time. The food is always fresh and so full of flavor. The garlic naan is some of the best I've ever had! Chicken Tikka is a classic go to, but I always recommend the veggie korma and the potato & cauliflower. Treat yourself to a mango lassi because the flavor really compliments your meal. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always fresh. Get at least a two item plate because it comes with the naan and is an incredible value. I've been here multiple times and Curry Hut never disappoints! Dine in and enjoy your food hot and fresh! The environment is very chill and inviting. Curry Hut is a true gem!

I frequent their Pico location and when I saw they opened in Whittier, I was ecstatic! Their curries are all so good. Favorites are chicken tikka masala and black pepper chicken. There's a spinach and cheese curry you've got to try, as well as vegetable curry. My curry palate has expanded thanks to Curry Hut. All the workers are friendly and ready to help with your order. This newest location is clean and fresh/modern looking, much bigger than their Pico location. Prices are reasonable. Don't forget your mango lassi or your samosas! Absolutely don't forget your garlic naan! It's a huge portion and goes so well with curry! Dip, eat, repeat!

Today I went to this curry hut Whittier. I ordered two one item bowls and a three item plate with 3 garlic Naan, my total was $82.53 they clearly tried to rip me off. When I confronted them they smirked like they got cot. After arguing with me and telling me that each 32 Oz bowl cost $22&change even though their menu says they're only $9.99 and a three item only cost $15.99, how then would this cost me $82.53? I finally got my money back after 15 minutes. Do not come here if you're looking for honesty, go elsewhere this place is not honest and do not deserve anyone's business.

This place is so tasty! It was our first time and once we told Jhan, she gave us a sample of all the curry. It was probably about 8 different currys. Her customer service was impeccable. We opted for the 1 item bowl which comes with rice and your choice of curry. The chicken tikka masala and black pepper chicken are delicious and paired with the cheese naan.. amazing! awesome! They offer a variety of food selections, plates and catering, give this place a try!

I love Curry Hut and I've been to another location before. Restaurant was clean and the staff were nice. I got the two item combo with saag paneer (cheese spinach) and aloo gobi (cauliflower potato). It came with rice and naan bread. I must say, the portions are huge and I appreciate them for scooping a little extra saag onto the rice. Everything was piping hot, which was surprising given that it's fast food and the curry is just sitting there in trays. I couldn't even hold the naan bread because it was that hot! I even had leftovers. I'm definitely coming back to try the tikka masala.

The food here is really great. Considering the price of eating out you truly get what you pay for here. I honestly don't remember the names of the things I tried but it was all really good including the veggie samosas. There was plenty of left overs to eat at work the next day and their food warms up really well. If you're sensitive to spice be sure to ask them what's spicy and not. Upgrading the combo from reg naan to garlic naan for .75 a no brainer. Seriously come try this place and I know you won't be disappointed.

Came here yesterday with a coworker for lunch. Must say, great food, good prices, and good portions. Ordered the 2 item combo which comes with rice, and i got the goat curry and chickpea dish.. both very good! Ample amounts. All combo's come with a side of Naan. The place itself if very nice and clean with plenty of seating, at least compared to there Pico Rivera location.

I ordered a combo with Butter Chicken, Lentils, Basmati Rice and Naan. It was perfect and really enjoyed every aspect of my meal. The Butter Chicken was great. There was a lot of depth of flavor and the chicken was roasted or grilled prior to being put in the sauce, so it was very tender. The sauce was creamy and dreamy- really a very satisfying dish. The other components like the rice, lentils and naan were spot-on. Everything harmonized well and to be honest, I ate until I was stuffed. I washed all this down with a mango laasi, and that was really the icing on the cake! Overall, a delicious meal and great value- you cannot go wrong with Punjabi Tandoor!

We made sure to ask for mild spices (heat) since traditional Indian dishes can be real spicy! I ordered Chicken Ticka Massla and a vegetable dish while my wife ordered a potato stuffed bread. We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning soon.

I'll start with the positives -- the samosas were actually really good. Great flavor, crispy texture, and the sauces they came with were excellent. Service was also great, and our server was very friendly and attentive. Now for the disappointing part. The garlic naan was super doughy and almost cake-like, which was not enjoyable at all. The butter chicken was overwhelmingly sweet to the point where it honestly tasted more like dessert than curry. The tikka masala was better, but it seriously lacked salt and flavor depth. The saag aloo was creamy, but overall pretty bland and forgettable. The biggest disappointment was the amount of chicken in both dishes. We were left with bowls full of sauce and barely any meat. It honestly felt like we paid for soup with a few pieces of chicken thrown in. We left feeling pretty ripped off, especially for the price. Maybe it was just an off night since they were busy, but based on this experience, we won't be coming back.

We came in on Monday, Memorial Day and I was nervous that they would be closed because when we came up to the door it was like pitched black with no signage but when I opened the door, they were open and inside looked so nice! Outside is so unassuming but inside definitely felt like a fancy place. It was a bit confusing once we're in because the staff also seemed confused that we were there? There wasn't many people in the restaurant aside from a table with 7(?) people celebrating a birthday but they sat us down anyways and walked away. I chose this place because I saw in their reviews they were able to accommodate no onion / no garlic due to my FIL's dietary needs. When I tried to ask they brushed me off thinking I was asking for the bathroom and just pointed to the corner. But I had to ask once more to confirm if they were able to be accommodate this request and the guy told me to wait for my waiter. No problem, we waited and our waiter came over and gave us menus and I asked that I saw at one point they offered a buffet but he said they no longer offered it. Okay no worries - I asked which dishes are they able to accommodate with the no onion / no garlic (Jain dishes) and he pointed out a couple. Okay not bad, quite a bit of options! But after looking at the prices (oof so steep) it was about $17/dish average. While we were browsing the menu he brought over some lentil chips and sauces that we can eat with the chips. Really tasty! The chips were pretty salty but the dip he provided (There's 2 dips, the green one has onion) made it like a sweet salty combo. I liked it! We got 4 different dishes, 2 orders or naan, and a side of rice. This came out to almost $80 - our wallets were crying but my FIL was here so we wanted to treat him. The food came! It didn't take to long for them to come out, we got their samosas, gobi matar (cauliflower with green peas), aloo gobi (cauliflower with potatoes), and vegetable kofta (Vegetable balls mixed in a thick masala sauce), 2 orders of naan, and an order of their plain rice. Everything was tasty - just what you expected Indian food to taste like. Nothing that really stood out but still good nonetheless. But the food came out in these small bowls. Like I just couldn't get over that they WANTED TO CHARGE $17/per small bowl?? Served family style?? I just can't. Everything was ala carte so there was no way to get a combo of things. I don't think we would come back just due to how pricy it was and for how little food you get... Service was good, decent. But sometimes you get the feeling that you're not wanted(?) At this point the restaurant was getting busy so we wrapped up, paid, and headed out. I don't think we'll be back just due to how pricy it got and how little food it was

This was such a great spontaneous discovery. They have a small parking lot in the front where we parked, but then we saw later on that they also have additional parking in the back if you don' see spots in the front. Upon entering the staff was welcoming. The gave us a few tables to choose from that were cleaned and appropriate for 2 people. I just want to say service was impeccable our whole time there. Everyone on their team took turns checking on us, making sure our waters were refilled, and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. So nice!! As we explored the menu, we saw the combination dinners that allowed us to get more variety, which we love. We both picked a different combo so we could share and try more things. My boyfriend enjoys tandoori so he went with the Mix Tandoori Grill ($26.95) that comes with an assortment of Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Seekh Kabab, Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka served in a sizzling platter on a bed of onions with naan, rice, and gulab jamun. So much food! I picked the India Special ($24.95) which comes with chicken tikka, the choice of lamb or chicken curry which I opted for the chicken, veg, korma, raita, rice, naan, and gulab jamun. What a FEAST!! For the naan I asked for the garlic naan and it was INCREDIBLE. Wow! Might be THEE best Indian food I have ever enjoyed. Between the two of our orders I felt like I had the variety I have when I go eat at Indian buffets. My boyfriend loved the tandooris platter. All of the proteins were cooked perfectly. I assume they were prepped separately to get to the right cooking temp. So funny because my boyfriend was eating the rice while I was indulging in the naan. Dipping the naan in the curry and the korma. Nom Nom Nom! So fun and so delicious. My boyfriend was even saying this is one of the best meals he had in a while. I was so full when the gulab jamun dessert came out at the end but it was so delicious I still ate all of it. Without a doubt the best execution of this dessert I have ever had.
