With my various plumbing problems over the years, I was so happy that a buddy of mine turned me on to Fresolo. I was installing a dishwasher and of course found out that my shutoff valves were no longer any good, turning a simple screw / unscrew DIY project into a major hassle. But Rocky came right out for me and put in some new shutoffs easy as pie. He even noticed some other issues with my sink faucet (that I installed improperly!) and fixed it all up good as new for nothing extra. He wasn't even bothered at all when I surprisingly pointed out a slow drip in the basement - he fixed it up in no time and happily so! Had him back tout o replumb my 1950s shower to current code during a remodel I was working on. He was quick and friendly and did an awesome job, made sure I knew what was happening or going to happen, etc. Never tried to upsell or talk me into anything or give me anything other than honest, sincere advice. In short - you can hire this guy and know that 1) he is a nice, friendly guy who will respect you and your property and clean up after himself 2) he is honest and fair, his prices are entirely reasonable and he's up front about everything that will be involved with the project. 40 years in business and with good reason. My heating system failed and I gave them a call. Later that day they arrived and quickly identified the problem. Unfortunately, the part needed to be ordered. They said they would install as soon as the part arrived. A day and a half later they text me asking if I'm home because the part arrived. Great service, communication, professional, polite, and on time. Andrew and Rocky were great! We needed our water heater replaced. We contacted them on Wednesday morning and a new water heater was installed and working by noon on Thursday. Very please with the prompt service. A little bit of rusty water spilled at the end of the driveway while removing the old water heater. They made sure to wash it away so the driveway looked fine. I didn't feel it was that much of big deal yet they wanted to be sure they left the driveway clean. They used drop cloths inside while doing their work. They were organized, efficient, and we'll be asking them to do some other plumbing in the future. read more

Our heating system stopped working on a chilly Monday holiday. I called Fresolo as they had great reviews. The receptionist said that they would arrive at 10 AM, which is exactly when they came. Rocky and his apprentice were very friendly and informative. Our boiler had overfilled and they drained it. Next they took apart and cleaned the autofill apparatus. They then checked everything else to make sure it was working. Really conscientious and thorough work. One of the best encounters I've had with professional service. read more

I found these guys on yelp and because of the positive reviews I decided to give them a shot. I just moved into a home and had some minor issues with 3 of the sinks in the house. They were able to fix all 3 sinks within the hour and there was a very small charge for the parts needed to fix the issues. I was very happy with the end cost, and the plumber who came was extremely nice. I am very satisfied with their service, and have added them to my contacts under "plumber". If they maintain this level of service I will have no reason to look for another plumber. read more

My husband and I just bought our first home in Worcester, and as with all older homes, it came with some issues. We had backup on one side of our sink, and a leak under the kitchen sink as well. I emailed Rocky Sunday evening and he emailed back within an hour or so saying that they would be here Monday morning - WOW. Had them replace my 22 year old hot water heater. They came in at 8am and were done by 12pm. They did a great job. Took the time to drain the old heater properly and put down a drop cloth on the carpet. They called the inspector and he showed up the next day. Little pricey but worth the money. R fresolo has been our plumber on and off for a little while now. We recently replaced our heating system thru masssaves and hired them to do the work. They were awesome. Last night our new system was working but not heating the house. Called first thing this morning and they came within the hour to fix whatever was happening. They always provide the best customer service- calls are returned promptly and when they say they are sending someone out and someone will be there soon, they mean it. We were looking for a decent HVAC contractor in Worcester and after having some very bad experiences with other people, we went through Fresolo. They were able to get out to site quickly and determine the cause of the problem right away. They were a little expensive as compared to their competition, but the fact that they were quick to act, knowledgeable, and helpful makes up for it, in my opinion. In addition, I had some questions about the nature of the furnace after the job was complete and they took the time to answer me. It's far more common for companies to forget about you after the job's done these days so that's what gives them a five star rating in my book. read more

I can't say enough good things about Fresolo Plumbing! Over a year ago, I had an old leaking boiler and couldn't find anyone to help. Even though we were not a customer at the time, the patriarch of the family offered to check out the situation. We ended up getting our new boiler installed by Fresolo. We got several estimates and decided to go with Fresolo. The price was competitive. Rocky Fresolo really knew everything about the systems. More than that, he was patient and knowledgeable in his explanations. They did a fantastic job installing our new heating system last summer. Another story: the expansion valves were leaking last month and I discovered it the day we were to go on vacation for two weeks. I was really worried and Cindy Fresolo was so reassuring, "Don't worry. We'll take care of it". And they did, fixing the problem right away. We feel so lucky that we have found a family owned business that is so responsive. I called Fresolo Plumbing for the first time last November based solely on their reviews on Yelp. They were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days (it wasn't an emergency so that was great) and since then they've done two or three other plumbing projects at my house. Everyone I've spoken to or dealt with has been completely professional and accommodating. They show up when they say they will and tell me how much the work is going to cost before they start. I'd love to review their actual work but it costs $145 just to get them in your house. That's right, they charge $145 as a diagnostic fee. I own several properties and have dealt with several contractors over the years. I've never seen a fee that high. When I told them I'd be willing to pay $75, I got the following response, " in order for us to lower our price, we would have to lower our standards". I'm sorry, but I fail to see how a $75 diagnostic fee (which is still high) lowers someone's standards. Save your money and choose someone else. read more

I called them because of the first two reviews. They were able to come within 24 hours of my call. I really appreciated that they offered to take off their shoes when they noticed I wasn't wearing shoes. They were able to quickly diagnose and fix my shower problem (1 hr). They offered to switch out my hand held shower hose for a fixed head which was a nice switch (there was a weird attachment I didn't know how to deal with). They weren't at all pushy about the suggestion on the shower head (I didn't take them up on a toilet fix that was optional). I felt the price was quite fair. read more

I had an emergency with a clogged sink/dishwasher going into July 4th weekend, and called Fresolo Plumbing for the first time. Rocky responded extremely quickly, and sent Mitch over to diagnose and fix the problem. Mitch did an awesome job, explaining the entire process to me, as well as giving me tips for maintenance. Upon finishing the rooting job, he checked over all the plumbing, and noticed that the dishwasher hose was barely connected (the previous owner's DIY hackjob had left it to the point where you could pull the hose out by hand!), and helped me avert a future crisis! Mitch was extremely thorough and professional throughout, and I was really happy with his workmanship.
