    Bread Pudding

We come back yearly for our anniversary. So far we've had crossroads bbq every time we roll into town. Unfortunately had to take the food to go since we took the pup for a walk but everything is as good! Tri tip and brisket were great! Bread pudding was good too! I have to try it again but I house so it's nice and warm when I do. Johnny was nice, we spoke bbq and explained menu items well! Great service! See you next year, bud!

This place was okay! I got the kids meal which included 3oz of meat, a side, and my choice of bread. Solid deal and sufficient to fill me up. The brisket was juicy and tender! Best part of the meal. The spicy bbq sauce was a nice addition. I didn't care for the beans or cornbread unfortunately they were dry and lacking in flavor. Otherwise, service is quick and easy. Staff and host were very friendly. Lively spot for families, couples, and solos alike in a nice plaza in the heart of downtown Carmel.

We have made this a regular stop for takeout and dine in! They have a simple menu with good, barbecued meat and side dishes. Unique takes like shredded pork breakfast tacos, meat-filled baked spuds and large serving portions make it hard to resist. If you're not in the mood for meat, they have a Berry Bleu salad with blackberries, apples, glazed pecans and bleu cheese. It's a large portion and delicious! Enjoy the patio on a sunny day with your pet and watch as people walk by. Their staff is super friendly and to put a stamp on it all, they have a rewards program that leads to $$ rewards pretty fast. They have seasonal specials. In November, they had barbecued turkey that you could have as a combo or as a sandwich. In February 2026, they will have beef ribs. Three of us shared the bread pudding at the last visit and it had delicious details like a rum glaze and the same caramelized pecans as the Berry Bleu salad. One more thing to add: Every server and manager we've ever encountered has been super friendly. One of the servers remembers my order. I'm in a wheelchair and they're super helpful.

4 meat combo, two sides, and choice of bread

Surprisingly really good coming from a Bay Area foodie family. The whole fam said thumbs up. The staff was friendly and ready to help us or answer any questions. Ambience was casual but modern and clean. Let's get to the food! The Santa Maria salad ($23) that comes with half a pound of tri-tip was very green, fresh, savory, and filling. I used the blue cheese dressing and drizzled a bit of bbq sauce on it! In addition we ordered the four meat combo ($42) and tried tri-tip, brisket, burnt ends, and pork ribs. The high list was the moist brisket, tri tip was also good. Ribs were decent but not quite falling off the bone. As for the burnt ends, it's more drenched in sweet bbq sauce than burnt. Also decent but you'll have to eat it with bread otherwise it's too saucy to eat alone. Now the sides we got the potato salad very solid and tasty. The baked beans were tender but not over done. Good bbq flavor with bits of pulled pork. Flavor and seasoning level was just perfect so that you can eat endless amounts and not be sick of it. Our fam of 4 was pretty good at this point but since brisket was a fan favorite from our boys we ordered another half pound of brisket ($23). Good, but I'd say the combos are better value. We shall be back when we're in town!

For someone who really loves BBQ this is a place you have to stop by. The ribs are so so good and the brisket is perfect. With many BBQ spots they have great meats but sometimes lack in sides... once you try this corn bread and slaw... it will keep you coming back. Great spot. 10/10.

Excellent food and service!! Get the meat combo and thank me later! Everything was fresh and tasty :)

One of thr best local BBQ joints. The burnt ends, beefy ribs and tritips are excellent. The coleslaw is crisp and perfectly balanced. All sides are excellent. They use hickory wood to smoke their meats on the premises. It's is served cafeteria style. The service isn't bad but can be better.

And not good crispy brown-- that's why I didn't take them back because they might be crispy so I tried them. Of course after eating a couple there were so few left I couldn't return them. However---I've eaten pastries in Paris, France and these American made versions seem much less soft. It could be the local water or some other factors. French people expect hyper fresh artisanal products. This bakery is locally made top quality. There is an outside seating area that's a little shabby and neglected. Very limited indoor seating. Service is ok. But, for someone such as myself, who has travelled around the world, lived overseas as an expatriate, and has formally studied multiple languages in universities in other countries, it's kind of ridiculous for a French girl behind the bakery counter to repress a laugh--that she obviously wanted me to see--at my pronunciation of one of their products. When we arrived they had a small parking lot but busy because they do a lot of Door Dash and Uber Eats business. Once inside I took a quick look at the menu and saw they had breakfast burritos of either Chorizo-Sausage-Ham-Bacon or Veggie. I chose Chorizo breakfast burrito($10.39) The shop is run by the owner-he was the cashier and the cook. In talking to him,he was telling me that his family owns multiple Mexican small shops like this in the Juarez Mexico area and El Paso Texas area.Says that all the shops use the same recipe for their hot sauce that is served with the burritos. Once the burrito arrived,it was both heavy and warm.Once I cut it open,I was able to appreciate the craftsmanship of this burrito in all its chorizo, egg, potato and cheese glory-it was beautiful. As pretty as it was though,it tasted even better,I had planned on only eating half of it as I had a tee time in less than an hour but one bite led to another and then it was gone. I've had many breakfast burritos in my day and as unexpected as this is to say, this may have been the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Also the aforementioned family-recipe hot sauce that came with the burrito was so spicy yet so tasty--perfect combo to a perfect burrito. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the Monterey area and you want to treat yourself to some upper echelon breakfast burritos-do yourself a favor and stop at 3 Mundos sandwich shop-a top tier food experience awaits.
