Our van broke down in the middle of the night 40 miles outside of Gallup. Rick answered our call at 3:30am, was very polite and even offered to come get us if our tow didn't show. They quickly and efficiently addressed the problem that almost ended our entire cross country trip. Avery was extremely helpful. My heart dropped when we thought we stranded with a van full of kids and having him explain exactly what the problem was and how they fixed it made me thankful I almost cried. While I hope we don't end up stranded in Gallup again I'm grateful we could confidently take it right back there if we needed to. read more

A friend of mine had a truck repair for a water pump on a Cummins X15. This place charged 12 hours of labor. 6 hours of labor should have been the most to change on a water pump. Also the final bill was almost double the initial quote. I would recommend another place instead of this company. read more

We broke our leaf springs on our camper outside of Gallup and Richard was the first place to answer our call. He got his guys to take off the leaf springs right away, but didn't have the parts needed in Gallup. We ended up driving to Albuquerque to pick up the parts ourselves. We brought them back and we're told that they would get right on it first thing in the morning. This was at 3pm. They started at 9am the next day. They had the leaf springs in within 40min (with the help of my husband). I got the bill and it was $700 for labor! Less than an hour of work and we were charged for 4 hours. When I called the owner about it, he yelled at me on the phone saying that he needs to "pay his guys" and that it is a more than fair price. He took advantage of our unfortunate circumstance. We have had to have the same issue fixed before and it never cost us more than $600 including the parts and labor. This time it was $1050. I feel stupid for thinking this company was so nice and helpful when they knew the whole time we were getting screwed. Please Read Reviews!! RG is not the place to go. My disabled husband, had to go to the bank and have the money wired to Richard's bank account. He does not trust credit cards or checks, and you know why? Because people get their money back, when they pay that way. The business was so so slow!! No locals go there. He gets his business from the highway - and robs people! My brother told me, that it probably did not even need the bearings - there was no oil leaking like it would if the bearings were bad. I said, shoot Bud, he is an 82 yo man, I don't think he would be lying to me - oh my, was I wrong. The money gets wired. The next morning, waiting for it to get done, I thought to check reviews. Then I knew!!! the man was not honest. I said very nicely to him, "Richard, you know you did me wrong." Oh my goodness, for the next 20 minutes, I got cussed at, sworn at!!! Get this peace of junk out of here. YOu think you can just get in and drive, and you never have it checked out!!" on and on. He does not know how we keep the rv up on maintenance at all. He yelled about doing the part numbers on my invoice. "I am going to have to call all of those places!! It is going to take a lot of time!!!" He never did do that. The warranty man, sent me an email and said Richard told him, that he did not like the way he was treated, and he wasn't going to do it. Very unprofessional. I do not think he put new parts on. Halfway home, I stayed in Amarillo. I noticed oil coming out ot the middle of the tires!! He did not have the part numbers handy, because he did not get new parts!!! You tell me. Our semi broke down Friday evening, Richard diagnosed the problem,ordered the part,took us to a local hotel , had the truck fixed and we were on our way Monday mornin. Broke down 40 miles West of Gallup on I-40. Got a tow in to the local Chevrolet dealership, but they could not help me out. We found R.G. Truck service. Pulled up and the owner immediately come out and told me to pulled up to the door. I told him i believed it was the thermostat and in 2 hours he had me back up and running again. If it wasnt for them i would have been stranded in Gallup for up to 2 weeks waiting on my truck to be completed at the Chevrolet dealership. I would highly recommend these guys! read more

They answered the phone at 11pm but although it's listed as a 24 hour service we had to wait till 8:30 in the morning for them to help us. They were able to repair our Bags on our Rv Also our gas tank had come loose so they were able to pin that back up price was a little on the pricey side, however they were able to get the job done and get us back on the road. Scam Alert As a motor carrier we are used to seeing maintenance bills but our experience at RG Trucking services was far beyond anything we expected. We went in needing a core replacement for a radiator on a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia. Upon checking in to the shop we had the part needing to be change. We had called around and got a few estimates from dealerships and all indicated the job would be about 8 hours of labor which is industry standard for the repair we needed along with the coolant which would be 11 gallons @ 34.00 per gallon when they are 15.00 each. We went ahead with the repair at RG Trucking services and were shocked with the labor amount when we received our bill. They had charged us for 19 hours of labor which is more than double the industry standard for that repair. Furthermore, the only payment type they accept is EFS which can not be disputed after the fact. This is to alert all fellow carriers of the deceptive and fraudulent billing practices of this shop. They prey on carriers that trust them with there equipment once they have you in their bay get ready to be taken to the cleaners. I would strongly suggest not doing business with this company at all. read more

My truck was broke down on the side of the highway. Richard (the owner) said he could have this fixed in 4 days. It's now been 12 days and it is just now ready. This was outrageous for our business. We would have took the truck elsewhere if we knew it would take almost two weeks. He should have been honest when telling us how long it would take. We stayed in a hotel for two weeks waiting and waiting. When we called repeatedly to see the status, he told us he won't be dealing with us tonight and to come first thing in the morning. Initially he told us he would accept cash, or check. He will not accept a check, he wants cash or wire transfer. This is now how business should be done. There is something sketchy about this place. He demands a wire transfer. When we told him our business has to do things in an organized way we need receipts of everything. Everything should be recorded.. the costs of parts and labor, and the form of payment should be legit. To top of all of it, he will not let us test drive until he gets payment. which just doesn't make sense.. when you go to a car lot to buy a car, you get to test drive to make sure it drives well. It's just ridiculous with the amount of money we are paying.. for all of the hassle. To be cussed out, to have hands put in my face. Please if you can help it, DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE. read more
