R M Banning Roofing was absolutely amazing. We have never had a contractor be so honest, thorough, and professional. Our experience was easily a 10 out of 10 stars across the board. During the last severe wind storm, we had both siding and roof damage. We called 3 companies to give us estimates. One company decided not to show up at all. Another came out (later than scheduled) but wanted 400 dollars just to climb onto the roof to assess the damage BEFORE they would give an overall estimate. I had a great experience with R.M. Banning. I meet with three different roofing companies and their estimate fell in the middle but the attention to detail and knowledge about the job and its challenges sold me on them (even if they had the highest bid). Daniel invested a lot of time in the job even before I took his bid. He was a great point of contact and was on site at various times throughout the job, which is not common with many contractors. Not only was the work of the highest quality, I felt we were collaborating on my house in a meaningful way. Communication was consistent and reliable throughout the process. I used them for some preemptive maintenance/repair on a flat roof last year, and they were great. Not every roofing company are experts or even competent to work on flat roof systems and I have a very small portion of my home over a sunroof that has one. Even though it was a very small job, they didn't take advantage, gave really clear guidance and advice, and great outcome. This year I had them come out to do the whole roof inspection on my traditional shingle roof for rest of the house. They showed up two days later on time. Again, extremely professional, they provide an excellent written report when they are done with the work, and they make reasonable repairs while they're out there to make sure flashing and everything is buttoned up for the winter. John and Sandy Ashman, R.M. Banning replaced our shingles on our garage, house and shed 22 years ago. We reached out to them to replace some shingles that had fallen off of our roof. He came out quickly, was professional, and didn't try to upsell us. A piece of siding had blown off in a storm, which he put back on. I asked if we needed to replace the siding and he said just get it cleaned. He also gave us fair quotes and did excellent work on the roof, all the wood trim, and gutters. I just want to share information if you a roof is in your future. I had a FABULOUS experience with RM Banning Roofing. They were AWESOME. The price was very fair, all employees were nice, professional and focused from the office manager to the roofers. Richard Banning is the owner and is a stickler for quality work and customer satisfaction. The roofers cleaned the area thoroughly when they completed work for the day. I was not fearful of stepping on nails or debris. My roof was replaced as well as downspouts and gutters (those were added as optional on my contract and with the great price, I wanted it all!). We recently had our roof, soffits and gutters replaced, as well as every bit of wood on the roof as it was in deplorable condition. Could not be more happy! They are skilled craftsmen in my opinion.
