After sending a message here on yelp, Roobik quickly got back in touch with me. My main request was for new breakers and lines to be run to the kitchen for a garbage disposal and dishwasher with the expectation that I would also have to replace the power panel. When he came out to do the initial inspection and quote he verified that I was definitely in need of a newer power panel. He quoted me for the two items separately. This is a great local electrician for our area. He is clearly a pro and stands by his work. We had him add some exterior outlets around the house for us to use (in the summer for outdoor activities and in the winter for Christmas lights). He clearly explained to us the various options (e.g. going back to back with an interior outlet or extending conduit along the wall), and did his work both quickly and with high quality. Four or five months later, we noticed that one of the outdoor outlets were no longer working. He stopped by, immediately troubleshooted the problem as being a faulty GFCI unit, and replaced it in under 5 minutes, free of charge. Would highly recommend! read more

I told him what I wanted and he was confident he could do it. Other contractors were not as confident in the scope of work. I called him back to do the work and we walked it again. Mr. Petros did outstanding work to fix a problem I had with an open circuit. He spent 3 hrs. troubleshooting the house electric system, which is pre '30s knob and tube, with almost 90 years of abuse by various members of the untutored classes and other inepts, typically self promoting as handymen. The problem was compounded by the presence of blown in insulation covering the remains of the original system.
