R-U was the point of which my companions ceased their journeys into sampling the Pizza wares of Easton ave- Two plain slices and one chicken bacon ranch for the three amigos. I lucked out with my chicken bacon ranch, it had some moisture to it to make up for the lack of sauce, the plain slices my buds grabbed, not so much. One of them couldn't, er, didn't want to finish their's so i wound up with the rest of it, and i can honestly see why. Pizza here has little to no sauce, and what /would/ be average cheese, if not for getting dried out hardcore during the baking process, somehow the bread manages to not get burnt, but does become mummified- liek a stale piece of stroehmann's bread, but with less flavor. Put it all together and you get a train-wreck of a plain slice. Ditto the above for the bacon chicken ranch, except there are a few survivor's on board, thanks to the miracle of ranch and bacon, between the bacon grease and ranch there's enough moisture to prevent the pizza from being dried out, and enough flavor to make the slice edible. Don't know if it was a bad night that Saturday, or if this is par for the course......But, I've reheated my own left over Digiorno slices and had them turn out better than my slices here. Digiorno would be cheaper as well, my chicken bacon ranch came out over 3.75 after the usual up-charge for using a card. R-U was a terrible value proposition, and bad food. I've spent a lot of money on delivery from this place. I really enjoy the food and usually the delivery is fairly quick. On a Saturday night around 10:30 and I ordered a couple things - after an hour and a half I decided to call just to check on my delivery status. Not to complain or demand a refund, but just to inquire about my food. The man who answer the phone literally yelled at me, cursed at me and told me to calm down and be patient. I just wanted to ask how the delivery was going and he wouldn't even let me finish a sentence before yelling in my ear. The food is pretty good and I enjoyed ordering from here in the past... As far as fat sandwiches go, this is the only location to go to get a sense of what the classic fat sandwich tastes like. The best fat sandwiches used to come from the grease trucks but that's no longer true after Rutgers disbanded the trucks. They pack their sandwiches well and deliver good service with an average wait of 5 minutes even when they're busy. They are quick with orders and get you in and out as quick as possible. That's a good thing though as you don't want to hang around as it's usually filled with sloppy drunks after 10pm on any given day. Keep in mind this is in a college town and their meals are meant to be primarily "drunk food". It will be greasy, calorie-dense, and fattening. That's part of the fun of the experience. Let me start this by saying the Food is Amazing, the Customer Service is Horrific I am currently a patient receiving a bone marrow transplant at Robert Wood Johnson and wanted to order out for some food. I place the order online (thank god) and put in the delivery details to please go into the Hospital Lobby and call my number; so I can send someone down to get it for me (I'm not allowed off the floor) 45 minutes later the guy calls me, and I made sure I asked "You're in the Main Hospital lobby, correct?" Because there are quite a few entrances around and I wanted to make sure he was at the right one, before I sent my nurse. He said "Yeah Im here" so I sent a nurse to get my food for me.. He calls back 5 minutes later to make sure someone was coming, seemed very aggitated, and hung up the phone as I said my nurse was on her way. Finally my nurse comes back after 15 minutes and she goes "I didn't see him in the lobby for about 10 minutes, he was waiting in the car outside" - guy didn't even get out of the car.. Was sitting behind a wall in the Valet Parking area in front of the hospital the entire time. My nurse asked the security guard in the lobby and he said nobody entered the lobby for about an hour - it's not a big lobby, would've noticed a guy making a call on a cell phone in a big empty room.
