Small pizza shop is good. The pizza is crusty when it gets right out of the oven, there is no flop if that matters to you. The margherita and regular slices are my favs, in general all the slices are pretty good. There is no indoor seating so most orders are to go especially in the colder months, there are a few outdoor picnic tables in front of the store and some backyard cushioned seats on the side of the building. There always seems to be a wait no matter how far in advance I order. It can be maddening if I get a quote for 20 mins, and still have to wait a solid 10 when I get there. Had a few friends over to watch the game and was in the mood for pizza. Cristo is close to my place so I figured I would order from here for delivery. Placed my order via an app and was happy to see it arrived on time. We ordered the drunken grandma pie, chicken Parm pizza, and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The chicken Parm pizza was decent. The chicken was nice and juicy and they used mozzarella and ricotta cheese which was a combo that worked beautifully together. The sauce is a bit underwhelming as it didn't have much flavor. The texture on the pizza was pretty good. The drunken grandma pie was delicious! The vodka sauce was flavorful and the cheese was really good. Decent texture on it as well. Not as crispy as I would like but still pretty good. It has a good balance of chewy and crispy. As for the chicken fingers and fries, it was pretty standard. Nothing special about it but the chicken had a decent bread to meat ratio. I've had this place once before but only had a plain slice. It was pretty forgettable but I'm happy to see that their other pizzas are good now. read more

I am so incredibly happy that I discovered Cristo's Pizza because their pizza is so GOOD!! I had driven past it numerous times while running errands during work and decided to give it a try with two of my co-workers as the spot up the street was closed. Such a blessing in disguise because the smell of the pizza as you walked in to place your order already had us craving pizza lol The area to order is relatively small with a few pies but they have a nice eating area outside for when the weather is nice. When we went, it was actually super hot so we sat under one of the tables with an umbrella lol Between us we ended up ordering regular cheese slices, white pizza and buffalo chicken. We honestly had no idea how good the pizza was going to be! For me, I always order a plain cheese slice to see if they can nail it and Cristo's definitely did! The sauce has amazing robust flavor with the dough not overly fluffy giving it a nice crisp and the cheesee sooo gooey! Top that bad boy with some garlic powder and chili flakes and it takes it to another level...ughh! The white and the buffalo both had really good flavor as well and needless to say we devoured it all! And I should mention that the portions are really good as well! Cindy has taken my order the times I have gone and she is super sweet! You can tell she takes great pride in serving up these slices :) Definitely check them out if you have not or have been thinking about it. During my last visit I discovered that if you order 2 plain cheese slices you get a free can soda for a whooping $5!! You honestly cannot beat that deal! read more

This is my favorite pizza place in North Brunswick & it's a cute little building right off of Livingston Ave in between the Mr. Subs & the post office. It's a staple of the community. The pizza here is some of the best I've had and I've lived in Jersey my whole life. That's it though. I picked up a chicken parm allá vodka sándwich and while their vodka sauce is amazing, the chicken was paper thin and super tough. It was essentially all breading I couldn't even chew it. During my frequent trips to the North Brunswick Post Office, I have driven past this pizzeria a few times and before they opened. It's a small pizza place, but inside it's very modern with a black, white, and grey color scheme. Totally digging it! I like that they have a veggie option always available. I saw a nutella pizza in one of the photos, but I have yet to see it there! I usually order a broccoli and mascarpone ? ricotta? white slice. It's sooooo yummy! They also have a full catering menu with traditional Italian dishes. The guys who work here are pretty nice and appreciate your order. There is a tiny driveway that leads to a parking lot in the back of the place or you can park on the street. I can't wait to go back and see if they'll have the nutella pizza on display. read more

This is NOT a pizzeria. This has become another breakfast/lunch grill. The hours are not accurate. The online menu shows they offer NO PIZZA, but their website menu shows they do. They are open for breakfast in the early morning hours, but are not open in the evening hours. I called today to order a pizza and was told "We lost our pizza guy so can't make pizza." Yeah, when the name is Cristo's PIZZA, you need to offer pizza. As to whether their breakfast items are good, or whether their lunchtime grill items are good, I can't say, but I think it's fair for me to judge an ostensible pizza place on the pizza, which is nonexistent right now. I would give a null review if I could, but I can't. I just want to let everyone know what this place is currently, and more importantly, what it is not. It is not a pizza place. read more

First time ordering from here. They were super busy, always a good sign. They only have outdoor seating. Ordered a pie half sausage and onion, the other half with cheese. Crust was well cooked, crispy, and not soggy like some places. When you folld the slice it keeps its shape. The sauce was great too. Great flavor. They do not make sicilian pies. I just moved from New York City mid March and I have been searching for good pizza around the area after a few misses. I consider myself a pizza expert and I can tell the pizza will be good even based on outside appearance of the pizza shop alone. I just happened to drive by and I saw Cristo's pizza (I knew it was going to be good). The next day I tried to call for a pick up order only to learn they're not open on Sundays. Being the patient man that I am, I waited until Friday. After walking my golden doodle puppy on a rainy day, I placed a pick order and I was excited to destroy my pepperoni and mushrooms pizza. I arrived at the shop picked up my pizza drove back home, to my surprise, the pie was wrong! It was a peppers and mushrooms pie. At this point I'm starving, I just want pizza. So I call the store and tell them my order is wrong the manager apologized and asked me if I wanted to come in for a replacement pizza. I was already impressed with the customer service and I was willing to settle for the peppers and mushroom pizza because I love supporting small businesses and I didn't feel like driving back. I went back, got my pepperoni and mushrooms pizza an it was the best pizza I've had since my New Brunswick move. Cristo's is now my go to for pizza! Extra bonus review; My wife ordered a burger it was actually decent. Next on my hit list is the chicken Parm hero from Cristo's. I'm not sure if they even make those, I haven't looked at their entire menu yet. But when I do I'll post another update. Keep up the good work, you've won over a new customer. Small shop big slices! Cristo's Pizza is certainly one of the smallest pizza shops I've been to outside of New York City but they certainly don't slack on the size of their pies and slices. With a small menu of options to choose from Cristos offers sensational pizza places either individually or by the pie what's the typical flavor options holy offering one or two unique flavors. As you walk in you'll realize the size of the establishment holds no more that 5 people at a time. Certainly a location recommended for delivery or order out as I don't see anyone hanging out inside for very long. The pizza itself was a good price, can't complain about that, definitely making itself a great quick lunch stop for the famished and pizza craved. read more

I stopped at this little pizza joint and grabbed what looks like a Grandma pie. The crust was crispy and not burnt. The sauce wasn't overly sweet or too acidic. You more than get you moneys worth when ordering a slice from them. The people who work there are extremely friendly and professional. They also do things to help the community. Not too much cheese on the pizza face, which is great! Ordered a split personality pizza: Mediterranean and Chicken Bacon Ranch -- both sides are delicioso! Chef and servers are polite and friendly.
