A week later and I'm still thinking about this place! The staff were so kind and helpful with questions I had and even suggested items. Everything I ordered was delicious. From the boudin to the sausages, you can tell there's history to the recipes. I can't wait to be back here and enjoy their breakfast. HUGE shout out to the young (blonde) sweetheart at the register who rung me up and made me feel welcomed. And if she's reading this, I'm sorry I didn't get your name but your kindness stayed with this little Yankee.

Boudin ball and fried egg. Breakfast suggestion.

Best in Iowa, LA. Most like homemade. A must stop for frozen, and hot boudin. We take home a cooler full to North AL.

A boudin sandwich!?!?!? Rabideaux's never fail me! This is a MUST stop when I travel to La. Service is always top notch! Consistency is key... Highly recommend!

    Cracklin, not good

If I were to rate Rabideauxs on their cracklin alone I'd give the 1 star but because of their smoked sausage and the selection of items, I'm giving them 3 stars. The cracklin weren't good at all, if you want good cracklin go to Billy's at exit 98. One thing that I didn't like was how someone that was standing around talking to his buddies outside came in and told a guy, in a disrespectful way, that he couldn't park in a certain place and that's why there was parking in the back. One visit is enough for me.

Best boudin balls ever. Anytime I'm in the area, I have to stop and buy 2 dozen boudin balls. Place is alway busy. Friendly staff.

Great service and the best jambalaya I've ever had. It's very close to I-10. Hop off and grab some food. You won't be sorry.

Best fried boudin balls in Louisiana. We drive 3 hours for their cracklings and boudin.

Right off the interstate and not fast food. Wins for me…read more Food was flavorful. The pork steak plate was huge and tender. The jambalaya was more of a dirty rice to me but with more flavor. Liked it even though it was different. The corn I could tell they put 29 sticks of butter and seasoning. Also good. The brisket patty was great. Their bbq sauce is very similar to jack millers but it was like a good church bbq burger. Good thick burger. The boudin is where I'd say skip. Tried the smoked and I liked how it was subtle smoke flavor but the boudin is dry and just ok. It's enough to tease you till you get to lafayette to get some real boudin. Grabbed a lemon ooey gooey and the ingredients is a Stephen king novel. Oh well wanted dessert. Didn't try it but it's lemon always good. All in all not a bad place for a quick stop

Ooweee what amazing treats! First off they had a spread of cooked meat to choose from…read more I had the Fried Ribs, Fried Catfish, and Pepper Jack Egg Rolls. They also had Fresh Made Pork Rinds, no worries one day I'm leaving the pork alone I decided to get the bag of Fresh Pork Rinds. They had frozen meats to go and gumbo to go. We did not grab meat because we still have a whole before we head home, they do have you a frozen bag on sale right next to the freezer and Fridge for your convenience. You should definitely stop by while visiting Louisiana! The Service was quick and easy and the Ambience was casual and comfortable with outdoor seating. Parking Ok, if you fear trucks do not come here
