I came for an event sponsored by TEAL an org fighting Ovarian Cancer. The bowling alley looks small small but it a good size with about 40 lanes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartender was also really nice and the drink were reasonably prices. The pizza we got which was free with the event was not good. However, the non free pizza did look really good. The lane scoring only glitched once. Overall I had a good time. read more

Food here is always good. Vodka pie is incredible. For the burger, didn't realize you have to write in nothing but cheese or they will put a sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles etc. They fixed it with no issues. Burger was a good size and love that they use real potato textured fries. I also recommend the Milkshakes. Delicious. read more

I bowl at Rab's quite regularly and I must say, the best part is their kitchen. I was shocked to hear that Rab's has some of the best burgers and I didn't remember loving their pizza when I was in high school. Recently, I found myself craving Rab's pizza specifically and think it ranks very well along Hylan Blvd. Their strawberry milkshake is also very reasonably priced and never misses. As for the venue, Rab's is always clean and they've definitely upgraded their decor with new neon signs. The service is always very quick and helpful if there's an issue with a lane. My only complaint is that they get very busy and it's often difficult to reserve a lane while there are tournaments. read more

One of my coworkers suggested that we ordered delivery from where she said was "the best burger she's ever had." I'm always in the mood for a good burger, but I admit I was taken aback when she mentioned it was from the local bowling alley. Despite being hesitant, we ordered the food, and to my surprise, she wasn't exaggerating. I've had probably thousands of hamburgers in my life. The burger I ordered from Rab's bowling alley was top 10, easily. I couldn't stop talking about it for weeks on end. Possibly because of the absolute surprise factor, but probably because the burger truly was THAT good. After speaking about this with some friends, we paid the bowling alley another visit weeks later. Same burger, same result. Not a bad spot to go bowling. It's open late on the weekends, and has its own parking lot. Prices are okay, shoe rental is where they may get you. You can also reserve a lane online, and you'll need a credit card to do so. I reserved the lane, and after exactly an hour it shutdown and wouldn't let me play more. The lanes get dark and the black lights are turned on after midnight to make it a cool experience. They have a snack bar with food (fryer & flattop), and a pizza oven. Cool bar with and awesome bartender. The bar is equipped with 2 pool tables and 2 dart boards. Plenty of TV's to watch sports events and hang out. The selection of alcohol is pretty good for a bowling alley. You'll be surprised with what they carry. Coolest thing about this bowling alley in my opinion, even if you don't want to bowl. I didn't like that you can't have your drinks or food in the seating area of your lane. A bouncer told me it had to remain upstairs which I am TOTALLY NOT a fan of... -For starters, someone could walk by and steal your food. -Someone can slip something in your drink since it's not in front of you. It's a big rule of mine while in public to never take your eyes off your drink. -Plus, going up and down the stairs just to sip your drink or eat some food became an inconvenience. I even slipped (while wearing the rental bowling shoes) on the stairs, and bruised myself. Good thing I'm still quick AF, and caught myself or I may have broken my arm. Not cool! read more

This place is ridiculous. Staff is so rude, and honestly such a rip off. They own this place and i get it but the prices are insane. If you pay 40$ an hour to bowl On a weekday (not including the ridiculous weekend prices) you have to pay for shoes also, i dont know who is running this place but its gone so downhill. Everything is the same from the 2000s besides they are now penny nickle and diming you for everything. 40 for a lane 6 per pair of shoes. Theres a reason this place was empty. All for what???! To fund their new poor excuse for an arcade. And they arent even allowing people to wear their own shoes. For what ewason i dont know. And to make it all worse they got rid of gennaros!!!!!!!!! Had a wonderful time at this bowling alley. It was an employer event where they were appreciating us as employees. They had everything here. Can I just say the pizza a great. The wings and chicken fingers were a hit as well. We had our own private room with a pool table. This place is definitely great for groups, birthday parties and kids because it has the bowling alley and other activities. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately I had a bad fall and I sprung my ankle so I could not bowl, but it was fun watching others. The place was clean as well. I will definitely be back especially to eat the pizza. Oh what a night, cosmic bowling on Staten Island's oldest bowling alley. I have not been to Rab's in at least a decade! The night started off great at the quintessential bowling alley bar. Long bar with at least 20 stools, great bartender, friendly and quick with the pour of top shelf booze at low prices - Double TROUBLE! Bar area has dart boards and billiards! There is a separate bathroom and plenty of tables. No reason why this bar was so quiet on a Saturday night, may have stumbled into SI's best kept secret dive bar! Bar gets 5 Bowling was not as impressive as the bar! Having a midnight reservation for Cosmic bowling, I thought We would complete two games in an hour- wrong ! Without a warning the lanes turned off and the second game could not be finished. If I wanted to option to continue the game the I would have had to ask the front desk to turn the lanes back on- Not cool! A reminder of time left on the lanes and not an automatic shutdown would have been a better way to end the night. Lastly, not having pizza available after midnight is another star reduction. It's called Staten Italy for a reason, pizza should be served while the bar is still serving drinks- just saying more people will drink and eat if the aroma of hot fresh pizza filled the air. read more

Just came here for a birthday party for my friend's 5 year old daughter and it was well organized! There were about 10 lanes of children playing and there were always a few staff members around to assist and watch to make sure things ran smoothly. They organized the room well to fit, what i think was like 50 or more people and moved everyone from the lanes to the rooms efficiently. I don't know about pricing or anything for the bowling or food, but the place seemed clean, well organized and the staff were nice. It's a nice place to consider having an event if it's a convenient for you to get to and has a decent sized parking lot. read more

Came here with my 2 kids during the spring break. Not to far away from my house. Clean, has parking lot and the staffs are friendly. After return the shoes, I saw they spray something to clean the shoes. Not a bad price for $24/hour. Definitely will come back again. My kids had so much fun today!!! Rab's Country Lanes is amazing! The bowling area is one of the cleanest that I have seen in NYC. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. There is also food (Their pizza is very tasty) and a bar inside as well. Parking is a breeze they have a big parking lot. This place is always packed with customers. I also wanted to give a huge shout out to Lori. She was helping me plan my daughter's 4th Birthday party in March of 2020. Unfortunately the pandemic struck. She is a sweetheart. The prices were reasonable and they are very organized. Today Lori called me to ask me if I wanted a refund for the deposit and that they have reopened. The place is clean and sanitized and had no problems until this past Saturday where I was a witness to a staff member berating a special needs patron. There is a no outdoor food policy. The patron's parent brought in food because the patron has a limited diet. I happen to know these people personally. The staff member came over and told them that there can be no outside food. They went outside and ate. The staff came back and threatened the special needs person saying she would not be allowed to bowl if it happened again. This staff made the patron cry hysterically and as a result, she could not focus to bowl. I thought the alley understood that groups of special needs people have teams and bowl. I thought they were compassionate and had big hearts. Boy I was wrong. This staff member should be taught how to deal with the public. read more

I came here about a month ago for a kids birthday party and had a good time. It was a Saturday around 1pm and the place was pretty empty. There was only one other birthday party going on. We had a Room for about 25 people, kids and adults. The service was good and the food was decent. The kids got to bowl and the birthday boy got a bowling pin with his name. There are many lanes and they seemed to be in good condition although they can upgrade this place and make it more warm and welcoming. The place was clean including the bathroom. The employees seemed nice and were helpful. The prices are a bit high so come when they have specials. They also have leagues for all ages as well. Inside is also a pro shop where you can purchase shoes or a bowling ball. They also have a food court that sells pizza, burgers and even beer. It's also on of the only two bowling alleys on the island. It's not that bad. Oh, they also have a huge parking lot and streer parking is also available. read more

We had a party for our son on August 7th. Everything was perfect. We had 3 party attendants who were phenomenal. They made sure everyone was taken care of. They had all the kids shoes ready to go when we got there. Then they took the kids to the lanes to bowl. When it was time for pizza they had everything ready to go. Went there to bowl with a couple friends for my birthday. We had rented 2 lanes for 2 and a half hours. 1 hour in, I accidentally threw a ball a bit early. Unfortunately, it hit the pin-switching machine. Instead of coming down and talking to us beforehand, they simply closed our lane. When I went to the front to ask, the woman working there told me that she had no control over it and the technician was the one doing it. We had payed before hand and even after they turned on our lane again, I found this place to be unfair and not a good bowling experience in general. read more
