Absolutely love this place! Not sure why it took me so long to try it, but I'm glad I came in. Definitely a smaller area inside however they do have a patio outside if you want to hang out out there. I'm sure if you get there early enough, you'll be able to sit at one of their tables, but if not, do a drive-by order. You can order inside or they also have an ordering window by their patio. It's a window attached to their building. I ordered the pistachio latte and it was very yummy. I also got one of their kolaches, which was also pretty good! Almost a 3 purely because of capacity. Went there on a Saturday morning evidently not early enough. The line goes outside but moves. Inside is tiny there are a few spaces outside as well. The staff is friendly but they were obviously slammed as well. The coffee was real good and I tried a pop tart to try it. The pop tart was fresh with homemade goodness. While I thought everything was fine I will struggle to return because of the space limitations. read more

I came here originally to do some prep for work but quickly found the review photos may make it look bigger but there are only a few tables- the inside is a super small space. My husband got a honey lavender latte I believe- so so darn good, and I got a sweater weather cortado thinking this is enough but of course I wanted more. Where once stood a little bail bond building, now stands a charming coffee shop in swiftly gentrifying Scenic Bluff, Fort Worth. There's a cheerful orange and yellow stripe on the cinder block walls, lots of plants, a shelf of Race Street merch and Oak Cliff Roasters bagged coffee beans to buy. Y'all... do yourself a favor and try the pecan pie scone. It's chewy on the outside, soft and almost gooey on the inside, and honestly tastes like somebody took the best parts of a pecan pie and turned it into a breakfast treat. I'm still thinking about it. I also had the Sweater Weather drink and it was giving cozy holiday vibes in a cup. You can taste all the spices, and it's creamy without being too sweet -- just perfect. I love that they're big on sustainability too, so definitely bring your own cup. The vibe in here is calm, friendly, and the kind of spot you end up staying longer than you planned. Race Street Coffee is a solid spot if you're looking for good coffee and a cozy Texas vibe. Parking can be a little tricky--I had to back into a spot on race street--but there's a parking lot off to the side if you don't want to deal with street parking. When you walk inside you'll order at the counter, and they give you the option of having your drink in a ceramic mug if you're staying. There's plenty of seating inside, plus a nice outdoor patio if you want to sit outside. I ordered the seasonal vanilla latte, which was on the sweeter side, but the latte art was a nice touch. Yet another great local coffee shop located on the developing Race Street strip. Race Street coffee is small inside, but has ample space for studying or meeting a friend. The inside is cozy, cheerful, and light, well suited to the underground vibe of Race Street's other businesses, all of whom are upcycled from buildings having other purposes in some distant Texas past. I ordered a Black Eye and found the coffee smooth and the espresso potent enough. My friend and I stayed for a couple hours and never felt rushed. The barista was a giant, friendly dude who greeted us when we came in. I believe there's additional seating outside, though when I came it was the brutal heat of 2023's Texas summer. Instagram sent me to a coffee shop where I ordered a salted caramel coffee, and my friend got a honey bush tea. The shop is nice and spacious, with excellent customer service. They have a beautiful outdoor patio filled with flowers and host a hobby night every Thursday. We discovered this because I was coloring and my friend was painting. No complaints here! I come here consistently and I have yet to find anything that has turned me off! From coffee to the Avocado Toast, everything I've had to eat here has been great! Everyone who works has always been super friendly. The staff gets the food out in a timely manner as well! There is free, complimentary water as well. This place is small, but perfect. Since moving here from Houston, I've been missing the H-town coffee scene but Race Street really brings it with amazing coffee, great food options, friendly staff and a cozy environment. I only discovered this spot a couple months ago and it's a new favorite. I'm really into the whole vibe of this neighborhood and Race Street Coffee is a big part of that. It's got a warm, casual, retro-diner-y feeling going on, very welcoming. The staff is ultra-kind and laid back, even if it's crowded they won't make you feel rushed. There's parking out front and on the west side of the building, and there's usually plenty of street parking around. This is a small coffee shop -- inside there are 4 or 5 tables and a little bar that seats 5 against the front window. There's also a couple seats out front and a small patio area on the shop's east side. I've been here several times where there were no open seats, so I'd get my order to-go. This is a really great atmosphere to hangout and work in, just know seating is limited! I like to order an iced "Von' Riverside" which is Race Street's vanilla latte. 2 oz espresso, 1 oz of their house-made vanilla syrup, and 9 oz of steamed milk (whole or oat). I usually add cinnamon! $7 for this 12oz latte and it's really extremely delicious. There are also teas, sparkling soda drinks, hot chocolate, seasonal menus, etc. Not to mention all the food! Try one of their toasts, like strawberry goat cheese or classic cinnamon toast. Add an egg! Consider breakfast tacos, kolaches, scones, cookies, locally made pop tarts, and more. Plus they have great merch -- soft t-shirts and cool mugs. I'm also really excited to say I've seen 2 gluten free food options each time I've been here. Last visit they had gluten free/vegan salted-caramel-cold brew donuts and a gluten free lemon blueberry loaf. I had a piece of the loaf which really was cake, and it was way too good.. buttery and sweet with a fantastic fluffy texture and tons of blueberries. I highly recommend! read more

Rad little cafe with delicious coffee. I love the counter seating against the window - beautiful natural light to soak in while you sip coffee and work. They've also got nice picnic tables outside for the sunshine days. Their brand is a very cool blend of modern and retro design and it is woven into the experience from the minute you pull up in front of that bright red curved brick wall. Through the door you're welcomed by a cool blue tiled counter that curves into the cafe and mirrors the red exterior wall. The baristas were chill and helpful... brought my oat cap out to me just for kicks. Their merch is also super artsy fartsy... Stopped in earlier today and ordered a cortado with vanilla and cinnamon powder. Service was exceptional. I was greeted upon entering and offered assistance. Casual vibes and decor. My drink was made quickly. The cortado was very good, but had a distinctive flavor. I'm not sure if it was the espresso or vanilla. The espresso appeared to be moderate in strength and flavor. Race street is a small local coffeeshop with friendly faces, quick services with plenty of natural light. They have drinks, pastries, merchandise (including stickers) for sale. The drinks I've had our delicious, however they are pricey and small quantity. They have a small courtyard at the side of the coffeeshop to sit as well as a side window where you can place an order. I stopped by this sunny day and ordered the chai latte and gluten free pumpkin bread. The chai latte wasn't overly sweet which I appreciate and the pumpkin bread was dense, flavorful and not overly sweet as well. I love coming here and look forward to my next return. read more

Our first time to Race Street Coffee for a light breakfast and lattes. A small neighborhood coffee business with what seemed to be mostly a young crowd from the condos across the street. The latte and avocado toast was very good. Limited eats menu consisting mostly of the aforementioned avocado toast, sausage kolaches, and assorted other pastries. I would have liked the sweet variety of kolaches but they weren't on the menu. This is my favorite coffee shop. I'm here with my family multiple times a week. Staff is very welcoming and kind but not pushy like some places can feel. I love the simple, minimalist vintage vibe. We always find a place to sit! The biggest thing for me, as someone who has been to over 300 different coffee shops and trying coffee shops is my hobby, is that their coffee is always always always delicious. I've never had a bad cup of coffee from here. They are so consistent which I honestly have never found at any other shop. If I'm going to pay for coffee instead of making it at home, I want to know I'm going to get a great cup of coffee and they always deliver. I am usually a harsh critic of coffee but they are honestly always 5 stars. I also love that they don't offer wifi. It feels so nostalgic. I go and read a book or spend time with my family or friends and I've had several good conversations with strangers because they foster such a great atmosphere here! One of the best coffee shops around Fort Worth. The owner is awesome, incredibly humble and down-to-earth. The baristas are all amazing, helpful, and sweet. I've only ever hung out in the patio which is spacious for your littles to hang out and your dogs to sunbathe. My go to is their iced Purple Rain with Oat Milk. It's the perfect amount of lavender and espresso all meddled into the perfect latte. I've also had their lemonade which is SO good. I am a small business owner and I really, really do not want to leave a poor review. But I'd like to be honest because I will not be back and the feedback may be helpful. I've had RS twice. The first time I was caught off guard with the $1 up charge for the cup. This is unusual and while everyone's prices are going up, a charge at a restaurant or drink location typically is all inclusive. I don't want to have to bring my own materials and I'd like the cup to be factored into the price, I feel like this goes without saying. After being charged $7 for a 12oz drink, I was immediately in a bad mood. With that kind of pricing this coffee needed to knock my socks off. Sadly, it didn't. It took a second trip (with my own cup) to realize why. That $7 small drink? One shot. This is glorified steamed milk. As feedback for you (owner, I've heard great things about you and have a lot of respect for you), the single shot is compromising the quality of the beverage. I am a massive coffee person, and I couldn't hardly taste it at all, I can't even remark on the taste. Secondly, the highest price point with the mediocre experience of the drink I received was underwhelming and all worked against me to be a repeat customer. Hi.... HELLO. This coffee was AMAZING. My son had a wrestling tournament in Fort Worth, per my typical routine I searched for my morning coffee stop. I read lots of places that were tucked away in other buildings, but not this one! Easy to find, and parking wasn't to bad. My go to drink is a Lavender Latte but I saw they had some seasonal options. I chose the sweater weather, I walked to the car and sipped my drink.... I kid you not, I turned right back around, walked back in.... And order another one to go. It was absolutely perfection.
