Very cute & friendly nail salon for those visiting and local to Fort Myer's Beach. It is family owned and the lady in charge is absolutely wonderful to have conversation with. In a world of covid-19, this salon did a wonderful job making customers feel safe. Masks were required, hand sanitizer and wipes every where, and even shields up between you and your nail tech. The prices were fair, but I feel like they rushed through getting through my pedicure and manicure. I definitely think that they didn't take time with giving me a full experience. Their air conditioner was currently broken which probably wasn't ideal working conditions - but they should have told me from the start that it wasn't working because I was uncomfortable and sweating in my mask the whole time. Not sure if I would return again - will wait to see how my mani and pedi hold up this week **Update 2 weeks later, my nails have not chipped but near my cuticles where the growth is happening the nail polish is on the verge of being really easy to peel off. this is probably the last week it will last.** read more

Had a pedi there today, was disappointed in the whole experience. I was looking forward to having a pleasant time but was greeted by a very rude fellow . Later I had to ask him what his name, I had to ask as he never introduced himself to me. His name was Kenny. He never made eye contact with me never spoke to me except to direct me to wash my hands. I had to ask him about picking out a color and he kind of threw the nail color ring at me. I asked him if he was in a bad mood and he didn't reply. overall bad experience and really bad service. I walked in there today May 3rd 2021 to get a full service nails and pedicure. The woman was so rude to me and I eventually walked out because her attitude was so nasty. When I initially walked in the door, The place was empty and she was sitting in the pedicure chair watching her iPad and looked at me as I was disrupting her! She refused to answer any questions about the nail services and had a horrible attitude. please do not patronize or come to this business she was very very rude and unprofessional. Must make an appointment, they have little availability for walk-ins. They scheduled my appointment for a gel manicure for 3:30 when they close at 4. I get there and there is ok he 1 person working and couldn't start my nails until about 3:50. She was definitely in a rush and my polish chipped 3 days later. It's been a week and my gels are already peeling off when normally my gels last 2-4 weeks. Would not recommend read more

I spent $60 for a mani pedi and eyebrow & lip wax. My fingernails started to peel off within a few days. Not just normal chipping but actually peeling off. I went back to complain and was told that was normal and only gel will stay on my finger nails. I am 60 yrs old and have had many manicures and have never experienced this poor of a result. The owner told me I should have expected this and that everyone knows this!!! So this review is for others like myself who are not aware that a manicure at this shop may only last a DAY according to this owner!!!! read more

I needed a fill in and gel manicure plus a plain ol' pedicure. I walked in and made an appointment for the following day. I didn't request a tech but the guy I had was amazing. Didn't talk much but did exactly what I asked. I don't like a thick nail and he filed them down perfectly. My nails lasted 3 weeks and the toes did too - even after many many beach walks. We have been coming to FMB for 15 years. I have had nail services at many different salons on the beach and have never been really happy with the nail salons until this year. I messaged Rachel at Rachel's Nails using yelp to request an appointment for 4 pedicures. (Kids and Grandkids are with us). I heard back from her within the hour for appointments the following day. VERY clean, EXCELLENT service and good prices. A super selection of polish and and a variety of services. VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Rachel Nails. Right when you walk in the door the lady is so completely rude to you and no where do they advertise that even though they may be open until 6:00 all of the other employees leave at 4:00. I just went in and had my first MAN pedicure and it was fantastic. Lynn did a great job. Very relaxing. Next time I might go for the premium versus the basic. My feet are quite relaxed. And their advanced massage chairs are the bomb, felt great on my sore back. Highly recommend. read more

Just got a gel manicure and pedi at Rachels and I highly recommend it . They are very organized and it is a spotlessly clean salon . They use OPI products and have all the colors in both gel and regular polish. Lynn was very good and also fast, not wasting any time on this busy morning .
