Missed our ferry so we came by Rachel's Alibi for lunch and a drink. There was 5 of us so we tried a bit of everything. The star of the show was the fried chicken. It was crispy, perfectly seasoned and hot!! 9/10. The chicken egg sandwich smothered in gravy was phenomenal 10/10. Good job of smooth and crunchy. It was quite big so I couldn't finish it. The Mac n cheese was so so even though it was rated highly by others. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. It's definitely homemade. But the batch we got had almost no sauce and tasted like buttered noodles with a quarter cup of cheese sprinkled on it. It also appeared dry when it was put in front of us. 4/10. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were good but nothing that we need to eat over again 6/10. The drinks were strong and the server was doing great holding her own as 5 parties entered the restaurant as soon as we did. All our food came out quick! She was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall this was much much better than waiting for a ferry. Would definitely visit again. read more

It has kind of a dive bar diner vibe. The burger they gave me was decent, if not at all what I ordered. I wasn't the biggest fan of their alarmingly brown shoestring fries though. Service seemed friendly, but in a frazzled and incompetent way. I definitely think I'd try other places before heading back. read more

After whale watching in the San Juan Islands, I googled this place in Anacortes to grab a bite. I really loved the area and how the sunset hits. The food was really good friendly staff. The tender were different from regular tenders but incredibly, burger was fantastic just what you need after hanging out by the sea.Our waitress was really friendly and awesome just don't remember her name. This was our last meal in town during our first trip to Anacortes so I didn't know if this was a good idea. From the Yelp pictures it didn't look fancy and my SIL is a bit bougie and it definitely looked divey but fun, so I thought this place would either be hit or miss. Luckily, we all had a lot of fun here. The food was pretty good, but it's all the wall distractions that made it fun. They have markers so you can write whatever you want on a dollar (provided by you, of course) then you can pin it up to the ceiling. If you can't reach the ceiling, you can leave it with your waitress and they'll put it up for you. They also had a map of the United States where you could put a pin on your hometown and another map of the world so you can do the same. The waitress was nice and acommodating and got us our fried food quickly. I'm glad we gave this place a chance because eveyone in my party had a good time. read more

My daughter and I came here late - about 1/2 hour before closing. We were starving! We were welcomed in, despite the late hour. My daughter ordered the Fried Rib dinner and I had the Cattleman Burger. We both really enjoyed our meals. My daughter said she'd never had anything like the fried ribs. After snitching one, I had to agree. The barbecue sauce was so good. It's a house specialty of theirs. If I hadn't been flying home with only a carry-on, I would have bought a bottle. My Cattleman Burger was SO good. It was moist and cooked perfectly. Every layer on it added to its deliciousness. I wish we lived closer so that I could go back again. read more

Went to try out the lunch in which I ordered the standard cheese burger and fries with unsweetened ice tea. The small portion of fries where brown and limp as though warmed up from yesterday. Ice tea had that day old funk. the Burger was good. There is a sign up on the wall as you enter stating they are not politically correct here and if you don't like that you should leave. Not sure why in this small town you would use a sign like that, maybe that's why the place was mostly empty. I won't be back. read more

Amazing food, environment, and staff. My husband and I came when they were closing. Our fault, we didn't look at the closing time. Jessica told us stoves were not fully closed. Jessica was a total sweetheart! They gave us time to order and eat inside. We did not feel rushed. They were super attentive despite cleaning up, wonderful experience. The BEST Grilled cheese & tomato bisque I've ever had. Perfect amount of cheese & crunch without the excess butter/oil usually seen, paired with a creamy soup that is great on its own or paired with the grilled cheese. Great service as well, definitely will be returning. read more

Visited this establishment again since its under new ownership and the previous i was not impressed. I had a burger and it was slightly better than the previous burger. The pickle chips had a bite to it and was very good. The atmosphere was exactly the same - nothing changed in looks and feel. It could use an overhaul. They were super busy so service was extremely slow but given that they there were busy I give them grace there. Would I go back? Maybe but not likely. read more

Awesome place to visit. A true fried chicken Mecca in the Pacific Northwest. The burgers, ribs, and salads are great but the fried chicken is the star of the show. Love this place! my daughter loves hot wings but only when they are double fried . most places will refuse to double fry the wings٫ but Rachel's alibi is more than happy to do it. After a long day of work I just want to get some quick delicious food and they are more than happy and willing to double fry the wings for my daughter and that makes all the difference between a fussy child and a good night.
