We had maintained a nice foundation but felt it was appropriate based on a myriad of factors. We were placed with Emily and our experience was excellent. We knew Emily from many of our group trainings but had yet to do extensive one on one with her. Emily's approach is honest, consistent, soft (but firm) and very relatable. She was communicative in every way and made us feel safe. Given we had already done one camp we felt comfortable with the facility but each trainer brings their own nuance. Emily was clear and concise with each weekly update- she was really positive and had a ton of healthy feedback. Training is a huge investment of time and money.... Something we don't take lightly, but we have felt it was incredibly worth it both times. The continued support offered is 10/10, the communication is consistent and the general vibe is that everyone really wants to be there, including all the pups. Our dog has been home one full week, and we feel really good about the tools we've been given for continued success.

She loved to chew on everything... baseboards, cabinets, fabric, paper, outdoor drip hose and low voltage electrical wiring! She also loved digging in the yard. She was afraid of most everyone and everything, including people and other animals. We could not get her to venture out of the house, other than to go into our back yard and would not go on a walk. Zuki has been a godsend! She spent lots of time with us, training us to train our dog. She demonstrated behavioral techniques, and gave us numerous opportunities to practice these while she was present. We had weekly homework assignments and she also provided us with additional suggestions on ways to alter Lexi's behavior, as well as suggestions for chew toys and rewarding treats. Now, at 3 years old, we can say, for the most part, we have a well behaved pet who follows commands, no longer chews, rarely digs, and loves to take walks! Previously He would only go to one groomer the next time I tried to take him back she tried to bite them at this point. My dog will not go to any groomer. He try's to bite them and he is traumatized. I don't know what they've done to my dog, but they definitely did something. He's eight. He's been having baths since he was born. It's been it's been a year since he's been grown. No groomer will take him at this point.
