I decided to try this place after a long time, it wasn't what I expected. I came here at around 9pm and there was basically no parking around. The only thing I liked about this place was how they decorated the walls, it was different in a good way. The service was ok, but not that great, the servers just kept talking and laughing while I was ordering. I ordered the Green Tea lemonade and it basically tasted just like regular lemonade, nothing special. I still have to try the Cereal Chillers before I can completely rule this place out. I just hope they would have better customer service the next time I come back. read more

I love the concept of this place and love to support small businesses so I am glad my husband invited me to a coffee date night here. We got to get out of Orange County a bit and I had never been to Upland before. The downtown area is very cute and pretty hip and youthful. While the place was fun (punk rock theme with lots of specials for Halloween) I wouldn't call it a true coffee shop, it's more like a dessert bar. Most of their drinks includes cookies and heavy syrups, whipped cream and food coloring. In fact I ordered something called "The Bride" and while it was delicious, it doesn't normally come with any coffee in it, I had to ask it to be blended with cold brew instead of milk. It's a trendy place and due to COVID 19, expect a long line out the door and down the street. Line goes pretty fast though and they had a girl outside taking orders ahead of time. After reading about this place everywhere, I found the time to finally visit. I came in with high hopes, I'm big fan of craft coffee and prefer to drink local rather than large chains. Walking in, the ambiance is very cute and unique. It's decorated with skulls and monsters which went perfectly with the theme of their drinks. They seem to specialize in blended coffee/ matcha drinks. If you're a black coffee type of person, this probably isn't the place for you. Likewise, if you like sweetened coffees, you'll likely love this place. I tried the vanilla, lavender cold brew which was fantastic. I could really taste the lavender flavor. My boyfriend tried the iced campfire, which was also very good. On top of the good drinks, the staff was super friendly and served me my drinks very quickly. If you are actually looking for a good quality cup of coffee/iced coffee/cold brew skip this place. If you are looking for an overly sugary smack in the face sweet-this is the spot. Their cold brew coffee mimicks the taste of day old coffee put into the fridge, its oddly watered down and has a very unusual bitterness. 711 coffee is a step above this. I always see a bunch of people with their blended drinks that probably contain a weeks worth of sugar in just 1 drink, I suppose that is what put them on the map. I'm sure they are good but like I said, if you wany good quality coffee, ya wont find it here. My 2 stars are for the creativity of the establishment. First time coming here. Everyone raves about this place. Partner and I have allergies so opted to get vegan versions of captain crunch and cinnamon toast. Captain Crunch - My partner couldn't even finish it with how sweet it was. Pretty gross Cinnamon toast - Too much cinnamon, extremely sweet and grainy. For 7-8 dollars a drink, I'll pass. :( Perhaps non vegan drinks taste better. Tried my sisters bride drink with cold brew and it was good. read more

Eccentric setting with eccentric drinks! I checked out Rad Coffee with a friend, and upon entering we both agreed that they had attempted (and achieved) a punk vibe for their shop. We ended up deciding to try their blended drinks: the Frankenstein and the Dracula. Both were pretty colorful and tasty, the Frankenstein is a mix of matcha, mint chocolate chips, and Oreos, whereas the Dracula is a red velvet mix with black whipped cream. I didn't get a chance to try their pure coffee so I can't really gauge how well their brewing stands alone. However I think Rad is pushing a less typical barista-y experience with crazier drink combinations. *Side note: There's a couple of tables, but with the music and the blenders constantly going it's not really a spot to settle in to converse or study. read more

Came here about a year back with my wife and our baby. We walked in with a stroller and the dude behind the counter looked annoyed that our stroller took up space in his store front. We also don't look like typical hipsters who willingly overpay for average food with a sparkly name or logo. The guy served me with a disgruntled look on his face, ignored me when I politely asked for half and half and a nice young lady apologized and got me some half and half. Unfortunately that is what this place is, an overpriced, average coffee shop that markets itself to young adults willing to throw away money for an overpriced drink with a rip-off Misfits logo on its cup. I honestly want to say I do love the coffee itself. Good service and love the whole shop vibe. However my only issue was the Merch that I purchased. I bought one of their Tie Dye shirts and I really loved the colors. Due to the whole Corona virus I felt it would be best to wash prior to wearing it. After the first wash in cold water and hung dry the shirt was completely discolored. I did reach out to them and they offered to send me a new one. I sent over the pics and what they asked and no one reached back out and it has been like two weeks. My only disappointment was just how they went about handling it. I am a huge supporter of small businesses so I was disappointed because I really do love the Merch it is definitely one of the things that sets it apart. My only thing is to not buy shirts since they don't have any good exchange or return process and they don't follow up. read more

You ask for light ice and they refuse to fill the cup all of the way, and my drinks have been messed up twice in front of my face and they deny it. Went here for the first time this morning and the coffee was pretty awesome! Located next to boutique-type shops and plenty of outdoor parking space. They had a couple of tables and chairs for both inside and outside seating. We had a cold brew chocolate milk and an iced salted caramel latte- sooo good!! There were lots of other drink choices as well..will probably try The Wolf next time (4 espresso shots!) or the Green Matcha ice blended drink with Oreos on top! Awesome coffee shop in a quiet little area. The walls are decorated with pictures from rock concerts and other memorabilia, along with rock music blasting over the speakers. Their menu has the coffee basics along with teas, lemonades, and specialty drinks. I had the vanilla lavender cold brew with soy milk. The prices were standard for a small coffee shop. I enjoyed my drink, but it didn't blow me away. The vanilla flavor was quite dull and the lavender was just okay. Cool cups though! The barista who helped us was enthusiastic and friendly. I like the asthetics of the place and they use to be good about listening about the amount of sweetner I want cut out but this last time I went I asked for ¼ of the sweetner and it stated "less sugar" on the ticket and it was beyond sweet. It was even sweeter than my friend who asked for half. Another one got attitude given to for asking for less sugar. The girl behind the counter told her it wasn't sweet. I couldn't drink it and neither could my friend. But, it's usually a nice experience here. But, they really mist listen to the customer in terms of how they want their coffee. read more
