I'm pretty good at keeping up with the dishes and the kids help pick up toys and random stuff, but there is SO much that gets put off because it's not essential. This is where Alida's crew came in to save the day. One person spent three hours working on my two bathrooms. He cleaned them from top to bottom, not missing one detail- including vacuuming my cotton curtain that was covered in dust, cleaning around and under the toilet, on top of cabinetry, and all those pesky corners of the shower. He even cleaned the vent! Not to mention that the toilet, sink, and shower looked fabulous. The other bathroom was equally, awesomely cleaned. The other person went through each room brushing off ceiling cobwebs, wiping walls, and dusting all surfaces with microfiber cloths. She then worked her way through the hallway, getting all closet doors and frames done. I saw a vast improvement (don't ever paint your doors and trims white, because you see EVERYTHING). It was obvious that she had not forgotten one space. They ended up in the kitchen working on the cabinet doors for their final minutes. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've never had house cleaners over before, but they did a great job. All of my kids were in the house, since it's summer, and the cleaning people didn't seem to mind. They used some kind of light, vinegary cleaner and microfiber cloths on everything. I'm sure they used a lot! The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that the bathtub still had some black moldy stuff around the edges. I suspect this was because the cleaner was so gentle. I enjoyed having the cleaners over. I felt like they were able to do what I would like to do, if I had the time! I would recommend them! He came in with his steam cleaning machine for the tile flooring in the bathrooms and he used great cleaning products on our hard wood flooring, material window blinds and windows. He made everything shine! The huge and very tall windows alone, would have been an enormous task for anyone, but he did all the work with a smile and an efficient and hard working attitude. He spent an entire day and then came back another day to complete the long list of items I had requested that he do. (The extra dat wasn't in our original plan but he wanted to make sure everything was completed as arranged...I was impressed!) Edited to add a reply to the owner's comment: All parts of the transaction matter to the customer- including the ability to reach the business to make an appointment, or leave a message. A simple check of your voicemail on a daily basis (or an increase in the size of the inbox), or even a message to tell people that you are currently extremely busy would all have sufficed. Your actions are not misrepresented in my review, and I said nothing to "decrease your credibility"- that would be all you. You could also have just replied and told me when to call, or how to reach you- which would have been great! You did not do that either. As far as "leaving only negative reviews", actually yelp doesn't show all my many reviews from my previous address / sign-ons from another city- and I actually do leave positive reviews. Trying to diminish the impact of criticism by blaming the reviewer is also probably not a good way to grow your business. If you had made *any* attempt to address the problem, I would have gladly changed my review to a positive one, but as it stands- I think I'll leave it as-is.
