The Café is located inside the Grand Prairie Airport. It has a bit of a limited menu, while still having some great choices! Bright, airy atmosphere... High ceilings, and lots of windows. Service was good! They had a special on taco salad, the day I was in... However, I got their hamburger. I was not disappointed as it was a great burger! It came with french fries, which were also very good. It's surprising how busy they can be, as they appear to be somewhat isolated. I feel the ability to watch small planes, takeoff, and land, is a plus. And a lot of their customers are likely from the surrounding businesses. Something a little light this time. Throwing back a Club Sammy. It could use a couple more slices of ham. All the flavor is there that you would expect to be in a classic sandwich. Not terrible. The burger was ok but not seasoned well. Fries had potential but needed some extra cook time. Wasn't sure if I was in the cafe at first or a place for meetings and or flying with a friend who is a regular. Staff did greet and reminded me I was allowed to be there (at the time and it looked like a meeting going on in a not so private glass room) so felt like I wasn't supposed to be there at first. Definitely loved watching the plane's landing and taking off. Going back to try another meal option. read more

We come here at least once a week to eat - my son loves watching the planes and helicopters! The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly! I hope more people come so they won't close!! Also- you can rent the room here for free for meeting and things. Well...I've tried twice to eat at this restaurant. First time was last night around 8 and second time was today around 5:30. They were closed both times. I like airport restaurants and hope I get to try this one...if they are ever open. Edit to add... received a message stating the hours have changed to Mon-Fri 8-3:30 or something. Want to watch some airplanes fly by and possibly be adopted by your future grandpa? This is a great airport cafe. Plenty of parking, and a smile cafe menu. The chicken burger is fantastic! Fries are worth the calories. They accept credit cards. Friendly service too! If it's a cloudy day and people aren't flying, there are four TVs to keep your eyes busy. You are likely to meet a friendly pilot, and if you play your cards right you might get a tour or more knowledge than you ever wanted to know about general aviation. If you aren't headed to fly, they have bottled beer for sale. Also makes a good celebration beer after a nice landing. read more

Do not come here if you are already hungry. When we arrived the place was about half full. It took @10 minutes for us to be asked our drink orders. Then @10 more for the drinks to come and then @5 more for our order to be taken. It was over an hour when our food came out but the fries were cold so we sent them back. That took another 15 minutes. While we were waiting for our food, the waitress dropped a salad on a chair and the floor. She brought a replacement but left the dropped salad everywhere. The mom at the table eventually cleaned the chair and floor with paper towels the best she could. Side note: They are lucky the lady who works in the airport office wasn't here. She would freak out just because that a chair from the conference room was being used in the restaurant. She may have burst a vessel if she saw food dropped all over it. The food was actually pretty good so if I was only "thinking about" being hungry, had 90+ minutes to spare, and my family wanted to watch planes, we could go back. read more

I fly out of Grand Prairie regularly and I've eaten at Radial Cafe now 5 or 6 times since it opened. Food is outstanding and the setup is really cool if you are into aviation and watching airplanes. My personal favorites so far are the burgers, hot wings and the club sandwich. I rank Radial Cafe and the Beacon Cafe at Hicks top two airport cafe's in North Texas.
