Do not stay here!!!! When we arrived we were told that their HVAC system was not working. No communication before hand at all. No call. No email. Was told your room could be between 68-85 degrees. There was no time when they knew it would be fixed. Being we sleep with fan and had it with us, we wanted to give it a try. Front desk offered us a lower floor with the thought hot air rises and the higher floors would be warmer. Got to the first first and there was a mold smell, toilet didn't flush and the mattress was stained and had hair all over it. Changed rooms and it didn't get any better but worse. Bathroom had black mold in it and bed wasn't any better. Checked out and went somewhere else. Doing a last minute booking caused us to have to pay an additional $400 for our stay. COVID: MD seems to still be requiring masks, this was being adhered to by the lobby staff, but team members up on the levels were not. Upon arrival we were informed that the pool was closed for repairs and the HVAC system was on the fritz, no air below 70° was coming out of it. We were offered the option to cancel our reservation but everything in the area was $200-300/night now so we decided to stay. We checked in and were given room 401 first, it smelled moldy. As always we inspected the room, the bed had hairs, both long ones and some 'short curlies'... there were also stains on the mattress and the toilet didn't flush. Second room was I 616, we checked it out, again, hair, stains, black mold in the shower, and it smelled funny as well. We decided not to stay and found out from our other traveller that his bathroom sink wouldn't drain and he was going to leave as well. On the plus side, the front desk staff was very friendly and patient with us. We got checked out and went down the street to the Hampton Inn and Suites... Edit: after looking at the photos from other guests, I noticed a familiar stain... it was the one from 616 and it was posted 11 months ago! Booked via Priceline and not worth the money at all! The room was hot, no air, only the fan function was operable, and appeared to be increasing the room temperature! A fan was provided and the windows cracked (maintenance man Jamie was amazing), but hardly any relief. Felt like a sauna in the room and hallways! Refrigerator warm with nothing in it, maintenance indicated the ice needed to be scraped off the back and provided another one with less ice build up! The room was also Dirty! Sugar and something sticky on the desk. Which wiped off easy. The curtain appeared to have blood stains on it! Covid precautions- no room service or towel service at all. No room cleaning the course if your stay until check out. Of course modified restaurant hours (which I never made it too) Pros: The location ... a CVS, pot belly, dunking donuts, and harbor in walking distance. Security patrols reminding patrons to put masks on. The clerk who checked me in was nice. If I could give it negative stars I would. This hotel is run down, dirty and has terrible staff. Room was dirty. Bed linens were ripped. Curtain was missing/ripped. Artwork was missing. Shower curtain was ripped. Shower basket was broken. Handle on the sink was broken. Bathroom light was blinking. Hvac unit didn't work. And there was trash all over the elevator floor. I'll start with the partial positives -- the day time staff were very pleasant, the night time staff could use some work. The hallways were fairly quiet, and noise didn't seem to travel, which was a plus. Now, on to the real reason for my review -- this property was dirty, stinky, and overall unpleasant. My bed comforter was stained, the top sheet was stained. The fitted sheet was stained. I informed the front desk and he proceeds to hand me the sheets, as if I'm not the one paying him for a comfortable stay in a clean hotel room. He says that due to covid restrictions none of his employees could come rectify the situation, however none of the employees were wearing masks. I call bull crap. Room had not been properly cleaned, we found loose change from the previous occupants, as well as trash under the chair. The carpets appeared to not have been vacuumed in years, and the room had a lingering smell to it. The shower curtain was stained and the white had turned yellow from use on the bottom. The grout of the shower floor was filthy. Also, you have to pay $25/night for parking in a filthy, partially flooding and very unsecured underground parking garage. The stairways were disgusting. They definitely need to either renovate and hire a new cleaning staff, or update their pictures and lower their prices. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere for a better experience. If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. In fact, they need to burn it down to the ground and start from scratch. I stayed here two nights and it was a MISERABLE experience. Of course their air conditioning system went out (this isn't the first time this has occurred at this location) and it was during a 90+ degree humid weekend. What annoys me is instead of them getting to the root of the problem they keep slapping a "Band-Aid" on it (i.e bringing a repairman in to access/fix the problem and that's a waste of time because the hotel's interior and rooms are still warm and uncomfortable). Their ventilation system is poor as well. I can't believe they have their staff working in these conditions, which could partly be the reason why many of them appear to be disgruntled and lack customer service. They don't even create small talk with their customers during the check-in process (i.e How are you doing today? Are you in town for anything special? I see you're a returning customer. Welcome back.). The hotel is also quite dated. Dreary rugs throughout the hotel and the room curtains were dull. Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was a plus. The rooms remind you of rooms in a hospital. The thermostats are clearly broken, as witnessed in my room and in my best friend's room. As soon as you try to lower the temperature down to the 60s it literally jumps back up to the 80s. Management here is severely lacking and the owner(s) of this Radisson location clearly aren't making the necessary investments, which is evident throughout the hotel. I booked through a third party (Priceline) and I had to call them to complain, which I almost NEVER do. I couldn't let this terrible experience fall through the cracks. It was super smooth process with Priceline although the hotel was only willing to refund me for one of the two nights. As disastrous as this hotel is they should've given me a full refund. I settled for half my money back but I guarantee you I will never ever stay at this raggedy place again. As a world traveler for almost 20 years, this hotel is in my top 3 of worst accommodations. Well, I won't go so far as to give it two stars but I'll be a bit generous and give three. This is not my first time at this hotel but it was called something else several years ago. I believe it was the Baltimore Inner Harbor or something like that. Honestly, I wasn't pleased then and I'm not pleased now. My displeasure is very specific and I'll get into that in a minute. The hotel looks like it has undergone a renovation since my last visit. It's much brighter and the rooms reflect a positive change as well. My room was not spacious but it was reasonably clean except for the dust bunnies in the corners and the left over hotel issued lotion left behind by either the previous guest or housekeeping. On the bright side, I will say that my bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, during this stay, there was a false alarm fire in the hotel and you can just imagine how annoying that would be at six AM. So specifically I would encourage the staff up front at the desk to be a bit more professional and take pride in what their doing. Not once did I hear anything like "welcome to ... " Or "did you enjoy you stay ...." Another specific issue I had was the temp of my room. During my three day stay, my room was either cold or hot. I tried to regulate the temp using the thermostat to no avail. Also, the shower barely got hot and that was a major disappointment as well. Sadly, I knew things were getting off to an ify start when I was told the phone in my room couldn't dial directly to the front desk and I would have use the number provided to get assistance. I got this hotel at random through a deal on Priceline. Price was reasonable. Hotel needs a little work though but it did the job. I had some minor complaints. I wasn't notified beforehand about the $50 a day incidental charge to your card. It does get refunded but I would have liked a warning. Another thing was my bed. Half of it was soaking. Idk what it was but it was wet. The heater also needs updating. Kind of old and made weird sounds. Other than those things it was manageable. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and housekeeping did a good job. Not too sure I'd stay again though. I feel like there are other hotels with more to offer for the price read more

The omelet and sausages were cooked perfect as well as the breakfast potatoes. The view from the restaurant shows that the city needs to do some work on the abandon buildings within sight. I was here for a conference and must say that the hotel was very kind and accommodating to our organization. The facilities were good which included several rooms for workshops, a public restroom that actually offers plenty of toilets, and on the far side of the building, a lounge seating (and closed bar) area with lots of natural light (windows) which is good for networking and social events. I was happy with my room. WiFi works well. There is gym that offers upper and lower body machines as well as free weights. As opposed to hotels that offer two treadmills only and claim it's a fitness center. Of course the outdoor pool was closed. Maybe opens only during the summer? There is a bar near the lobby that serves food; my colleague said the food was good. There are other restaurants within blocks of the hotel as is a Walgreens and post office. The Harbor tourist area is about six blocks away and it offers plenty of restaurants and shopping. read more

Blood found on pillow , I wouldn't have found it if I didn't take the pillow case off durning my pre unpack inspection, dirty towels, open shampoo. Manager gave another room. That room had a musty smell, dirty fridge, broken bathroom light. I honestly do not understand how they are still open. From this experience I would never stay at a radisson hotel chain. Horrible service. Not accommodating. My sisters and I arrived on Friday May 31st. We were waiting in our car for valet parking . There were no signs saying no valet service or that there parking garage was full. One of my sister got out the car to inquire about parking, it was then she was told we needed to park elsewhere. During my check the front desk clerk asked for my photo id and my credit card. So of course I complied. A few hours later I noticed Radisson Hotel took of my credit card the room charge plus the security deposit. I was applaud! When I question it the front desk clerk about it, she claimed it is formality, and that I would receive my security deposit in two to three business days. Worst Radison ever. The front turnstile door was out of order and it took us several attempts to even find the entrance, as several other doors didn't work and there were no signs. Aggressive security greeted us at the door, which should have been a bad sign. We arrived at night but the customers at the front desk were mostly wearing bathing suits. (And not the kind of people you want to see in skimpy swimwear.) The lobby reeked of marijuana and sadness. Our room overlooked the pool and was incredibly noisy from the temporary air conditioning compressor outside on the street. Of course as irony would have it our room didn't have working aircon. So we had the horrible noise of AC without it's benefits. I called the front desk and asked for a new room. I was told they were fully booked, but a handyman was dispatched to our room. He immediately saw the AC motor was dead and was able to get us in a better room. We are happy now but what an unpleasant hassle. Did COVID do this? How can a Radisson be this run down? Note that I booked directly with Radisson and not Expedia or other third party. Hotel is a 3 star, our room is clean and has the basic accommodations which I am good with. I am here a week I checked in Thursday, and the air conditioning was not working. I called the front desk and they front desk staff have always been friendly with every issue. Two engineers came to check out the air conditioning, if you are near the air conditioning more like sitting on top of it it's a good 65 degrees, however it does not circulate. It's so hot in our room! I'm in Baltimore during the heat wave and air conditioning is needed!! Literally our room is a sauna. We leave a lot to avoid it. The brought is a fan but it circulated the hot air around. So maybe the hotel should mention they don't have air conditioning because I am not the only guest who has been dealing with this problem. I am a Radisson Rewards member and have been for some time. I was able to book this room on points and wish I could have the points back - I hated the hotel in every aspect I encountered. Tried to check in but had to wait because the desk staff was busy playing around and joking obnoxiously loud. The room was atrocious. It was adjoined to two other rooms and those rooms were occupied by people traveling together who spent the entire night running back and forth slamming their doors. I do not understand why they would not just give them adjoined rooms. Valet was also atrocious. Took them an excessive time to acknowledge me and take my keys. Then I called for the car and checked out and the valet passed me in the lobby and said I have your keys I'll meet you outside. I stood outside in the rain for 10 minutes waiting for her to return with my keys. Overall I did not enjoy a single aspect of this hotel. It is evident that management has no control over their staff and they have no regard for guest enjoyment (in particular QUIET enjoyment). Room reeked of cigarette smoke so we asked to be moved. That room also smelled of smoke. Bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned and there was a dirty facecloth hung over the shower curtain and pieces of hair in tub. Only 1 towel for 3 people and 1 tiny, tiny bar of soap. Placed a reservation 6 months ago for a 5 night stay in late May. I was just informed that my room has been canceled. I was refunded my money but now I can't find a room in the inner harbor area. All rooms are fairly far away from the event we are attending. Ones that are available are much more expensive. I had this whole vacation planned out perfectly just to have the Hotel ruin it. It is such a shame how bad inner harbor and this hotel were. My first night there was a night spent in smoke. Someone on my floor was smoking and approximately every hour on the hour smoke would fill my room. I called down the next morning to inquire about moving, but they assured me the culprit would be found. Smoke kept coming in during the morning, I actually had to inquire again, but after that it did stop. The door adjoining rooms would randomly shake at night. As if someone was rattling the handle. House keeping was rather odd. Their timing is super sporadic and they aren't very helpful. The second day my room was cleaned house keeping actually took my toilet paper. I am not kidding. TOOK my toilet paper. I had to call down and have some sent up. The third day I ran into house keeping in my hallway, she asked if I needed anything, but as she was asking she was already turned away walking into another room. Def made me feel respected and valued. The day before I left I went down to inquire about boarding pass printing, I approach the front desk and the lady working the counter was on her phone, scrolling through social media, I paused for a second hoping she'd look up and of course she didn't. I pardoned myself and asked about printing my boarding passes. She never looked up and was shaking her head "no" before the question had even finished. Again, respected and valued, I think not. A few other highlights: Gym equipment is horribly maintained. People can smoke right outside the entrance. Nothing like walking through a cloud of smoke every time you exit or enter the hotel. You will hear 10-12 sirens a night, and they will keep you up. My windows shook so badly one night from a bit of wind, I did not sleep. Such a let down. I do not recommend. This past Saturday, 11/10/18, I was walking the streets of Baltimore and saw a group of 4 homeless people sleeping next to some grates on the sidewalk to keep warm from the steam. It was cold and the weather report said it was going to dip into the 20's. One thing led to another and the group of us found ourselves in the lobby of this Radisson. I booked them a room and while in the lobby eating, giving them my contact info, and listening to their stories the night manager, John (a balding older man with glasses), came and asked to speak to me on the side. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel your room," he said. After a heated back and forth he wouldn't back down. His explanation was that I wasn't going to be staying in the room myself. Even after I told him I would sleep there (which I was prepared to do) he wouldn't budge and told me there was no one else I could talk to. I was livid. I've filed a complaint with the state of Maryland's Commission on Civil Rights and am waiting on how this will play out. Any hotel that employs staff that inhumane shouldn't receive anyone's business. What's worse is that he may have been acting on company policy. Please, choose another option. read more

Seems very disorganized. They sent us an email stating the air conditioner was not working. When I spoke to them they told me to come around noon and they should have some rooms which were working well in regards to the air condition. I showed up at noon and was told I couldn't check in until 3 PM. They weren't very helpful. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have had in a hotel. We will never stay here again and we are actually questioning staying at a Radisson again. The pros: The room was clean. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. Cons: Staff was very frustrating to work with. Most of the people were polite when talking with them, but nothing ever got done. The main issue we had was the AC. First room felt cool when we first walked in but it got hot. Talked to the front desk and they moved us to a different room on a different floor. Same thing, felt cool at first but it got hot. Thermostat was was saying it was 80+ degrees in the room. After 3 calls and 4 visits to the front desk, had two different engineers come and look at the AC. One said it was 61 degrees coming out of the AC and the other said 65 was coming out. That's great but it did absolutely nothing to cool the room off. Even the hallways were hotter than our room and the hotel had rooms on each floor being used with these giant air conditioners trying to cool the floors, unsuccessfully at that. The worst part was the staff said they were doing something but never did. I never received calls that were promised or even fans they said they would send up. In the end nothing was fixed or resolved as we had to sleep in the hot room. If we hadn't prepaid for the room I would have packed up and gone to a different hotel. Same thing with towels. Asked housekeeping to bring some extra towels as there were only two towels initially for a room with two double beds. It was my wife and I + 3 kids so we needed so more. Said they would send them up, never happened. Called down twice, no one ever answered both times. Valet was no better. Waited 10 mins with no one showing up for the valet. Asked the front desk, they said text the number on the card or they can page the valet. They pages and said someone is there now. Guess what, no one was there. Texted the number and got a reply saying "no one was available, please see the valet stand" which I was standing at for 15 minutes now. Some other notes: the "roof top" pool is technically a roof top pool but it is on the second floor above the lobby. When we saw that when booking we thought it was on the top of the hotel itself on the 24 the floor or had some views. On the weekend they make the guests were paper bracelets to access the pool. Which was something I had never seen done at a hotel before. It is not on the waterfront but It is a good 15 - 20 minute walk there. We never felt unsafe walking around but it is not the best area. Lots of abandoned buildings and homeless people around. Like most cities, on the weekends a lot of the restaurants and stores close early which is something to note when in the area. read more

I was there for a birthday party celebrated at the club lounge in the 22nd floor. The city view was magnificent! The staff was very friendly and attentive. This hotel was inexpensive yes, but it also had roaches, stains in the floor, and lights that could trigger a seizure. The chase had pet hair on it, and my towel had someone else's hair. This was the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in. There are people outside the front of the hotel all day and night that are loud and unruly. I was on the 11th floor and woke up to actually hearing and then viewing 2 women fighting at 3 in the morning. Our toilet would not flush and an "engineer" was sent to repair it. It still did not work when he left. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low as well. Instead of changing our room, they just kept sending engineers. The hallway that our room was on was filthy as was the shower in our bathroom. I got lucky and happened to see housekeeping in the hallway to solve that problem. This was showing as a 3.5 star hotel in the ads, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. The only reason I did give 1 star is because of Sebastian, the desk clerk. He had exemplary customer service skills. read more
