We happened to be in the area for a graduation party and looked on Yelp for a brunch spot. Interior is cute with chair covers and some quilt art. Food was very good. My Eggs Benedict was great. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and kinda fluffy inside. Service was good and friendly.

Very cute interior with very kitsch chair covers at the bar and the tables. They also had the half bench and chairs seating. The coffee is serve yourself. I was seated and greeted quickly. My order was the broken egg sandwich and one pancake with unsweet tea. The over-medium egg on one half had very runny whites, which I don't eat. So one half of the sandwich was good. Didn't touch the other. It had cheese, bacon and tomato The half I ate was good, very warm and crunchy. The runny yolk didn't make the bread soggy. The sourdough was quite tasty. The hash brown mound that was with it did not have much flavor at all. But with some salt it was better. The texture was great though, crusty on the outside, soft interior. I would probably return. Though the service was quick, the waiters never asked if I liked what I ordered or asked if I wanted a refill. She finally did come and give me my check and me a box and i asked for a refill which she made to go. Not attentive but not overly attentive either. I would say a 3/5 but I could see it being better if I ordered differently. The food would be what brings the score up. I think it could be a great place to work with the unlimited coffee that is self serve and plenty of space and lack of distraction from wait staff.

Such a cute little independent cafe. Staff are always friendly, and food is fresh and tasty. Chill crowd during the weekends, even during the morning breakfast rush. Nothing flashy, just traditional comfort foods made to order. I recommend trying the in-house made cinnamon rolls - they're soft, not too sweet, and delicious.

Decided to give this place a try for a late breakfast. We are always looking for good breakfast places that have "good" coffee. First, I should say that I am a bit of a coffee snob and I am not talking lattes and fancy coffees. I like strong, flavorful black coffee. Unfortunately, very few places hit the mark on this. Rad's falls short here, the coffee is mere warm brown water which seems very common in a lot of breakfast places. That being said, the servers were friendly and our food was excellent. We had the avocado toast with chorizo and the corn beef hash. We will definitely be back but will not spend $3.50 for brown water. We will opt for a different drink or even bring our own coffee. The place is welcoming and seems like a local hang out. Give it a try for at least the food.

Ventured to the NW side of Indy for breakfast. Greeted immediately with coffee and a seat at the bar. Pancakes were solid, and the drip coffee was really really good. Very pleased with the visit! Keep slinging what you're slinging!

1st time here and so glad we tried it! Small family owned breakfast and lunch spot. Super clean, great location and ample parking. I ordered breakfast tacos. Nice portion with plenty of chorizo. Goat cheese was a creamy and tangy topping. Came with hash browns. I covered it all in Sriracha of course. Hubs had Eggs Benedict. Eggs cooked perfectly and hollandaise sauce was excellent. Serve yourself coffee station with lots of choices, milk options, and syrups. Oh, and mugs are XL...thank you!! Great service, will def be back.

I love the vibes of this little neighborhood cafe named for a WWII family war icon. The trendy cafe serves breakfast and lunch and is busy on a Sunday morning. War pics and the story of Rad Bailey hang on the wall. Rad was the inspiration behind this family run cafe. The dining room seats about 25 and there is some seating outside as well. The young staff is plentiful. The menu offers breakfast and lunch options with specials on the board. We stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to the soccer fields. My husband had the Avocado BLT with chips. The sandwich was good, but he was nagged by the wilted lettuce and small tomato slice. There was lots of avocado and the fresh wheat toast was good. The chips may have been made in-house were good. I had a bowl of loaded potato soup. The soup was made from scratch and was beautifully presented. There was lots of bacon, plenty of cheese and green onion and the soup was velvety. But there was just too much salt. All I could taste was the salt. I never complain to the staff, but I was tempted. Our server, Lizbeth, was friendly. I could have used more water, but she was busy serving others. We left a little disappointed. The cafe is so cute and clean, but the food did not hit the mark. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing.

It started with an impromptu family get-together, and it ended up being a great surprise. Challah french toast, chorizo breakfast tacos, mouth-watering biscuits, and gravy, all served quickly and kindly by a genuinely friendly staff. Everyone LOVED their food, and as in all great family get-together meetups, the food was shared in an informal family style that left us all with a taste of different dishes filled with flavor and well prepared. They have a unique take on hash browns. They cook them in a muffin tin which leaves the outside very crispy and crunchy and the inside tender and soft. I prefer traditional hash browns, but it didn't stop me from finishing my hash brown muffin with gusto. My father-in-law didn't love the muffin version and left half, but the other tables around us did the same thing to theirs that I did to mine, and that was to make it disappear. :) I would have probably rated this as a 4.5, but they also have safe options for my wife in a variety of salads and omelets, so I had to bump it to a five-star rating. I will be back to make a further investment in that Challah french toast. It's starting to call to me, and that's always a good sign.

I wanted to try a new place for brunch with a friend and Rad's was on my list for a long time. We landed rather late at 12:15 and the place was completely empty. Which was rather odd since it's Saturday and many customers (just like me) love brunch or late brunch on weekends. I am assuming it could be cause of summers but it was definitely different. I ordered Huevos rancheros and grabbed self serve coffee. The rancheros has just the right flavor with cheese, salsa and hot sauce and I enjoyed the side of hash browns which was crunchy and warm. I loved my coffee and the size was about right. The entire brunch took about an hour and customer service was good. All in all a good place to catch up with friends for brunch.

Rad's is our favorite breakfast spot. It is a small spot, which we love! The staff are helpful and kind. The setting is relaxed. Want to come in your sweats because you just woke up? Do it! I really like their self-service coffee station with the Snickerdoodle coffee . The one thing we love about Rad's is that they are consistent! We've never had a bad experience at Rad's and the food is consistently good. This time, I tried something new... the breakfast tacos! Normally I get the BLT, but this will for sure be my go-to order from now on. Thank you to our server for suggesting them!

This is a quaint little cafe with a very simple menu and I can tell it's a staple for locals. It gave me a "sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name" vibe. I don't know if that's truly the case, but that's the feeling I got. I came in on a solo breakfast date and sat at the counter. The coffee is self-serve and the options were: house blend, Colombian decaf and Snickerdoodle. So, you know I had to get the snickerdoodle! It was delicious. Side note: The Snickerdoodle was completely out when I left so I couldn't get any to-go. That made me sad! I ordered the BLT&A (w/o the T)...and don't you just love a good play on words! The multi-grain bread was a bit dry and aggressively thick but there was a decent amount of bacon and avocado. The greens were dressed in very tasty balsamic dressing. I cleaned my plate and left full. I'd come back again and order the challah French toast...I think I will!

Stopped in for brunch today, we sat at the table top bar as it was crowded. I ordered confetti pancakes from the kids menu and a banana chocolate chip muffin. Both items I cleaned my plate! Wait time for food was good and sever was attentive. Diner was small and intimate. Would have liked to hear some soft music playing. read more

Rad's is a small spot in the strip mall at 126th and Grey where O'Malia's used to be. There are about 10 tables in the whole place, plus a small bar. We had about an hour wait on a Sunday morning for a party of four. The process of getting our name is was pretty chaotic and I finally just wrote my name down myself because no one was coming to take names. The coffee is serve yourself so I guess if you have to wait, at least it's not without caffeine. To eat, we got the breakfast tacos (which were a special that day) and the biscuits and vegetarian gravy. Both were really good and came with some delicious hash browns. The menu had a good mix of tradition breakfast and trendier or healthier options so please most anyone. I'm glad they're bringing some life back into that building! read more

Consistently great food, awesome servers, super friendly owner, and relaxed atmosphere. I eat here a couple times a month w/my family as we live within walking distance and this is always the place I recommend meeting friends for brunch dates! Everyone I've taken here loves it now, too! Favorites are the blt & a, street tacos, avocado toast, and everything bagel sandwich. My son loves the confetti pancakes of course. This past week I ordered a delicious, fresh salad with fresh fruit and the tangiest most delicious vinaigrette dressing. I love whenever I walk in I always get the warmest greeting, and the staff seem genuinely happy to be there. LOVE this spot, in fact I'll be there for brunch this Sunday! Oh and the snickerdoodle coffee is a must :) read more

Great little locally owned breakfast and lunch diner. They need some vegetarian options; most everything has chicken on it except the obligatory avocado on toast. Yet the food is really good. I've tried the southwest salad, which had nice fresh greens, and the breakfast burrito with a wonderful cilantro flavor. They've got a nice little outdoor seating area and a cute indoor seating area, too. I've been there about three times and first had the fish tacos which were delicious, moist but not a runny/watery sauce often found on fish tacos. 1 Waiting patiently for them to get a liquor license... It's a little local gem at 126th and Gray Road. I recommend it if you're there when they're open. read more

This was my second time at Rads and I will be back many times!! The service is great, atmosphere is thoughtful designed, the self service coffee is great and the food has always been delish. My dad got the biscuits and gravy with the pork sausage and it was so good. The hash browns are one of my favorites. Today I got the avocado toast with has chorizo (great level of spicy ness), an over medium egg, pico and a side of greens. And of course, I had to get a side of bacon. Cooked to perfection!!! Love this place. The location is a little odd bc the strip mall seems to be empty but, don't let that stop you from making this a regular spot! read more

Gone to Rads many times for a Sunday brunch. Very good flavorful menu with just the right amount of variety. The specials are always interesting and new. Service is also good, attentive and fast. Seems like they are catching on with popularity, so starting to get packed around 11. read more

Everyone calls me Rad, so it was pretty natural for me to check this place out. I got the French toast, with fruit, and hashbrowns and my spouse got pancakes, bacon, and hashbrowns. The self-service coffee was my favorite. They had 3 choices and you can use a mug or a to-go cup. This was so different than other breakfast/brunch joints. Nothing too special about the food. It was a good place to try, the food was good, and service was great read more

I don't know why I had so much reservation about this place before. Now I wish I had added this place to my go-to place earlier. We came here twice already in the last month. It's a small place, but the constant stream of customers make it feel quite cozy. I don't have much to complain about the level of service: staff is friendly and efficient and food came out quickly. I enjoyed their avocado toast and 2 eggs & sausage breakfast. The unique hashbrown (shredded potato baked in muffin shape) is a nice touch. Last but not the least, the place is very children friendly. The white paper double up as table cover and paper for kids art. read more

We went to Rad's for Sunday brunch. I ordered a cinnamon raisin biscuit to share because it looked delicious. All of the pastries in the case looked tasty and at $2.50 they certainly are worth the price based upon the one that I tried. They have a regular, decaf, and flavored coffee for self service that's very hot, which isn't always the case with self serve coffee. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which comes with hash browns and eggs. I am not one who's impressed with hash browns and I could easily have done without them. My friend ordered the corned beef hash which was flavorful and studded with bell peppers and onions - nothing is worse than a hash that's just potato and meat. The challah toast that came with his meal was delightful, as well. Everyone was friendly, the restrooms were impeccably clean, service was prompt, and the dining room was neat. You can't ask for much more from a brunch spot. read more

This was a prefect place for brunch! The food was fantastic, I had the Pork Belly Biscuits and Gravy. The winter wonderland coffee was amazing! The establishment is very modern and retro, and it's a very warming welcoming environment. I enjoyed all of the staff, everyone was very friendly and always had a smile. I can't believe I haven't heard of this place. I will for sure be back, and they deserve a 5 star! . read more

The staff was very friendly, and didn't make us feel silly for not knowing what to do with it being our first time there. We were seated right away, had some very nice coffee and a great brunch. The food was delicious, highly recommend the 3 egg omelet (I got mine with cheddar, pork sausage, tomato, and spinach). The biscuits and gravy were delicious, fluffy while still being crisp, and the rye bread was great too. Highly recommend everyone get a chance to try this place out before the hype spreads and the line is out the door! read more

I'm giving this three stars only because coffee is on the window and this is NOT a coffee spot. The offer self serve brewed coffee and that is it. We went to try it as a coffee spot and were disappointed that they don't offer anything else. Kind of a shame as the food looked delicious. read more

Updated menu with so many choices for breakfast and lunch yummy food items. Separate kids menu, recommend the pancakes and bacon with Graces hot cocoa. Self serve coffee so no waiting for it. Service is friendly, fast and easy even when extremely busy. Cute decor for the holidays. Nice area, tons of parking. Grab breakfast or lunch then go nextdoor to get your groceries, liquors, prescriptions or whatever, all in this little strip mall. read more

First visit and we will be going back. New to us, and only open six weeks, this place has the feel that it has been around forever. After working a long night shift - the bright, SUPER CLEAN, yet contemporary atmosphere perked me up and put me in an instant good mood (the music choices also helped here). I ordered corned beef hash with soft poached eggs. My eggs were perfectly done and how I requested. The hash was different that your "greasy spoon" hash breakfast. Made from scratch, shredded potatoes with crispy and soft edges are mixed with a hint of colored peppers and onion and a lean, quality chopped (not shredded) corned beef with my perfect eggs on top! Served with bread of choice (I choose challah), it was fresh and crisp. I was asked if I wanted jam - and quickly served a clearly homemade berry jam that was delicious. I appreciate when a restaurant asks if condiments are wanted rather than assuming - thus cutting down on waste. My husband had biscuits and gravy with eggs, and hash browns. You have multiple gravy choices - we choose the pork belly (holy yum!) it had a unique flavor which will be bringing my husband back for more. The hash browns were golden crisp on the outside/soft inside. I'm not going to lie, portion sizes are not for the glutenous. This is quality, scratch made food, with a perfect portion. I could have eaten more - because the food was so good, but left feeling content and satisfied. We also split a housemade biscuit with cinnamon, raisins, and a nice glaze. Lastly - their coffee was perfectly brewed! Offering a simple, self serve coffee bar, I opted for the flavor of the day (snickerdoodle coffee). FYI, I love the self serve option, however your server will get you whatever you please if you prefer not to leave your seat! We will be frequenting this place. The service was unbelievably friendly, efficient, and you felt like you belonged here. Exactly the local neighborhood feel I am glad to have found. read more

All the food looked beautiful but tasted very mediocre. They also served a man and women, the women was wearing NO MASK and the man had a face shield, but he was holding by his chin (???!!??) so his mouth and nose weren't covered. read more

Really cute little, local breakfast nook tucked away in Carmel. We weren't really sure where they were but once we found it, we were not disappointed! Nice atmosphere, nice decor and setup. Not as many choices to choose from as we expected but we loved our food. Definitely give the pancakes a try - so soft and fluffy! Confetti was a very fun addition! My husband had the special breakfast street tacos and said they are so good they should be on the menu full time! The service was excellent too! read more

We love everything about Rad's. The employees and owner are wonderful and welcoming (they remembered us when we came in on our third visit). The space is cozy and comfortable. Self-serve coffee (no waiting for refills!) is such a plus. The food is great! French Toast, omelettes, biscuits and gravy, chicken salad sandwich (SO much filling on this one!), the baked goods in the case... we haven't had anything that we didn't love. Very family friendly (the first high chair my daughter hasn't been able to wiggle her way out of!). Highly recommend. read more

We were yelping a new place to try. Found Rads. It was an Excellent place. We do Ketogenic (low carb) took the bread off the Ruben put it on greens and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend RADs. Approximately 4 carbs. Depending how much dressing you use. read more

Went in on a Sunday morning to have breakfast with the family. We came to Decor is great. Comfortable setting. Food was just ok. Nothing bad, just nothing to write home about. I was a regular at this place when it was CP and loved it. I liked the menu and concepts of all the dishes I tried but fell short on execution. read more

Super yummy!! Stoped in here after a very long run so my daughter and I were starving!! Wow they did not disappoint! We each had the avacado toast which was amazing and they had challah bread which is rare and it was deeelish!!! Service was great too! Highly recommend. read more

We are so happy to have Rad's in the neighborhood! The menu is not overwhelming or underwhelming and caters to all. Love the ambience and had excellent service. I ordered the classic #1 off the breakfast menu and enjoyed every simple, tasty bite. So excited to have a new family friendly place to make memories! read more

It's a small location, but somehow they were able to seat my family and I comfortable while there was a large party! They have out door seating as well which is great when the weather is nice. The menu is really simple, not as many items as other brunch locations. I had the breakfast burrito, which was great. What they lack in menu options they make up for in great food. A few unique ingredients like arugula, goat cheese, and Smoking Goose meats. Friendly service and self service coffe. read more

This little gem is at the corner of 126th and Gray Road in Carmel. Breakfast and Lunch spot that is a must try!! It was clean, staff was friendly and the food was delicious!! They have outdoor sitting, but I sat inside at the beautiful bar top. I Started with the self serve coffee bar which I like! Then I was torn between the Breakfast or Lunch Taco's, I went with the Lunch Taco's and they were excellent. From the "hello" wave shown all the way from the kitchen to me as I walked through the front door, to the "be sure to top off that cup of Grogg" on the way out, I loved my experience at Rad's. Named after the owner's' grandfather, this diner is simple, inviting and flat out good. My youngest had the french toast while I enjoyed an omelette with sausage, bacon, and jalapeño with cheddar. Let's just say it's gone. All of it. If I weren't now 25min away I'd be driving back right now for another cup of of the previously mentioned Grogg; butterscotch and rum bean coffee. My son and I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were disappointing--the gravy had an unusual flavor that didn't sit well, and both biscuits were undercooked to the point of being raw in the center. It has a little bit of a kick from the jalapenos, but even still, I'm so much of a California girl that I requested hot sauce. It comes with arugula and your choice of toast. I always get the cinnamon toast at Cafe Patachou, because it's the best cinnamon toast I've ever had, full stop. We also got the Green Goddess salad, no protein. It was very good and included spinach, avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, radish, sugared pecans, feta, hard-boiled egg and green goddess dressing. This is a tasty salad, and is great if you want a little something that feels healthy and light. One thing to keep in mind is that when there are lots of people in the dining room, it can be loud. I felt like I had to raise my voice to talk to the people at my table. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you have to wait for a table, there are some swinging seats a few steps away from the restaurant, so you can go sit there and swing for a bit while you wait for them to text you that your table is ready.

We were celebrating a birthday so there was a group of 4 and we ordered different items; an omelette, a salad and avacado toast. I appreciated that they let me make substitutions to the Robins nest. I wanted the caramelized onions but they weren't on the list to build your own omelette. The portion was large and filling, I was just sad that I wasn't given the option for a coulis or compote but received butter instead. The salad had all of the components that was listed but was lacking in portion and dressing and for the price fell short. Our real disappointment came with the Avacado Toast (which 3 of us almost ordered and we're glad we didn't). When it came, we could not find any actual avacado, instead there was a very thin (and brown) layer of pureed avocado. We asked the waitress if it was missing and she pointed and said No, this is it. We asked if we could have an actual avocado for the avocado toast and were told that they did not have any that were ripe. We assume the last ripe one went onto the salad we had ordered. They did bring out a side of the pureed avocado but it was clearly old and did not taste right so it was not eaten. Unfortunately, this experience and the waitresses handling of it, left a bad taste in our mouth (literally for one of us) and put a damper on the beginning of our day.
