    French toast, bacon, and grits
    Ed G.

Today I ordered the classic French toast with applewood smoked bacon and stone ground grits. Right off the bat service was good. The waitress could've been a little more attentive to wait for refill on my drink. The French toast is good just a bit on the dry side, maybe needed more butter on my part. The grits were warm not really piping hot. The bacon was cooked and grilled to perfection. Really not busy in the dining room, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the dining room is decorated really nicely and very welcoming for small groups or large groups and families.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Omelette was fluffy and perfectly made. Tasty, as well. With nicely cooked grits and a muffin: $13.99 plus tax.. $15.99 plus tip . Not pleasant eating a 'breakfast' at that cost, no matter how well prepared. Sign of the times, so eating out less.

I came here for breakfast with friends and this place never disappoints. We had excellent and quick service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's so bright and clean and this restaurant has plenty of space so it's not too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Surfer Girl and can't wait to go back for my next meal. They also have some sort of reward program so make sure to sign up.

Oh, wow. This spot is a must if you like breakfast. They have many locations but on this day i dined here. Oh, and to my delight their menu was wonderful. So many unique options. I tried the loco Hash! Omg when I tell yall it was amazing, it was amazing! All the Math was mathing and I could taste every ingredient. A Carnita breakfast hash with queso, pico, jalapeños, and guac. Yes ma'am with your choice of 2 eggs any style. I opted for over medium they were perfect. I did my happy dance all the way through the meal! Shoutout to Antonio our server he was quite the server. Nice, attentive and the food A1! Yes, duh I'll be back tomorrow for that hash togo!!!!! Only thing I was missing is tortilla!

    Western Omelette. #MyCameraEatsFirst

In town for the April, 2024 eclipse, we decided to head to Wild Eggs for breakfast. We've been to several in the Louisville area before so it was a known commodity and it was a short walk from our hotel. We were seated immediately (it was a Monday, so it wasn't packed) and sat quite a while before we were greeted (they appeared to be somewhat short staffed). No matter, because we were with our best friends from Albuquerque. A couple cups of coffee later and we ordered our meals. I'm a big fan of Wild Eggs' Western Omelet, so that was an easy choice for me. Food delivery was a bit long (about 20 minutes), but was delivered mostly hot. My toast wasn't warm enough to melt butter. The staff that was there was hustling taking care of tables and getting food. Because they appeared to be a little light on personnel tables were left for a while after emptied. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's odd to visit a Wild Eggs that isn't slammed. They can be very loud and hectic (I don't know that that they've ever heard of acoustic tiles), so this visit was surprisingly NOT loud and hectic. That was a nice change[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It was a pleasant enough visit, especially given we were there with our best friends. If we find ourselves in Carmel we'll definitely stop in again.

Stopped by Wild Eggs after visiting AAA next door, and the brunch itself was definitely the highlight of my morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe inside was warm and welcoming, and my waitress was incredibly friendly and on top of things.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully put together. Portions were generous without feeling overdone, and the menu had a nice mix of brunch classics and fun twists. The parking was packed, tight, and felt like everyone was circling at the same time just hoping someone would pull out. Not the easiest first impression. But once you're inside, the service and food make up for the chaos outside. Efficient: Yes First-Time Friendliness: No Would I Return: Yes JY review

    Cafe Mocha! (With almond milk)
    Ruth Shandale T.

Kyle and the hostess were super awesome. Went in for a quick bite and in serious need of some caffeinated chocolate. The mocha was great l! The cook put his foot in that French Toast (no powdered sugar). One slice was all I needed to get me to my next appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very chill and quiet besides the music. It wasn't at all loud like some places but loud enough to where I didn't feel like I needed to scream over it for conversation or strain to listen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The playlist threw me a bit. Older songs that are classics. Now that I'm older and I understand the lyrics, they definitely hold a different meaning![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed my rushed morning coffee. Thanks again to the staff. They were super considerate that I was having a mom-errand-day.

    Cheri P.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Spacious restaurant with plenty of seating and it's great that they take reservations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was very attentive and had great suggestions. I love that they have gluten free options. I got the shakshuka. It was well-presented but I do wish they'd have served it with more goat cheese or feta and some parsley. Would definitely try this place again.

    Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict
    Kelsey H.

We came around 10am on Sunday and there was no wait! We tried the mimosas and got the flavored orange-pineapple... it tasted like a regular mimosa. I wasn't getting any pineapple but they were still good. I got the Kalamity Kate's Border Benedict, which was fantastic. I loved the everything muffin, as well. Service was great! We'll definitely be back

I proceeded to have a seat at the bar as the patron to my left commented that I was grossly overdressed for this establishment. He wasn't wrong, but a girl needed some food! I ordered the smoked wings and a side of fries. I chose water to drink because I wasn't in the mood for anything else. BEST WINGS ANS FRIES!!! TWO THUMBS UP! The wings and fries are perfection. No sauce necessary. I tried the teriyaki but it wasn't to my liking and the wings don't require anything extra. They are perfection straight outta the kitchen as served on butcher paper. The fries are probably the best fries I have ever eaten. Seriously. I'm a fry connoisseur - I know my way around a fried potato! Best part: the price! They are priced appropriately. Portions size is great. Hearty wings, not lil wing dings. I only did 6 wings, but next time I'll do the full 12 and take some home. Better than Ale Emporium - argue with ya mamma, not me! Yesterday, I decided that I would not be cooking dinner and instead opted to order pizza and dessert to be picked up on my way home. This is such a cute, quaint little shop located in a tiny strip mall next to a gas station. So very unassuming, yet quite impressive. I loved the two cute yellow tables and chairs out on the sidewalk as well as the Sinatra that was playing when I entered the shop. I was greeted warmly and let me say how much I value a pleasant and genuine interaction like that. Someone came to the front of the store from the kitchen in the back, and she too greeted me with a very welcoming and warm smile. This fact alone makes me want to return and support this place of business. My pizzas were prepared fresh and handed to me hot out of the oven. The deserts, an assortment of 3 different kinds of cookies as well as two slices of cake, were kept separate and cold. My husband loved the pizza (he is somewhat of a connoisseur) and I enjoyed it as well. The carrot cake was a bit dense for my liking and the pistachio ricotta was decadent. My husband really enjoyed these sweet treats as a night cap! I loved the cookies. I ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl cookie, the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie, and two of the Pistachio Thumbprint cookies. My personal favorite was the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie. It had a great contrast in texture with the soft-baked cookie being perfectly complemented by the crunch of the pistachio pieces, and it wasn't overly sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more cookies, cakes and pastries in the future! They also carry some authentic imported Italian products, such as pomodoro sauce.

I was craving a sub, but in my rush to order before a work meeting, I mistakenly ordered a half sandwich. When I say sandwich, I mean meat and cheese between two slices of multi-grain bread...AND cut in half! I was so upset with myself. Not only did it not satisfy my craving, but the bread was slightly soggy. It was quite literally falling apart - maybe from the oil and vinegar if that was still included. So, I wound up taking the meat, cheese and banana peppers (it was a Grilled Italian) off of the bread and eating it with my fingers. Sans bread. The Sweet Tea and Fresh Cut Fries saved me that day. I love Penn Station subs, and it wasn't their fault that I ordered the incorrect sandwich, but it did leave me wondering why they even sell those types of sandwiches to begin with.
