So as I was leaving work to go to lunch something popped on my car then started sounded like I had no muffler. I called Raffield Tire Master and got David. He said sure bring the car in and we will look at it. About 30 mins later he called and gave me a quote on the repairs. I was unable to afford them and told him I would come pick up my car. Asked if I could drive it home to Henry Cty and how much was it going to be for the diagnostic check. David informed me that there would be no charge for checking the car. Upon arriving David made a call to try to assist me. About this time Chad came in and made a suggestion that David followed through with. With there assistance I was able to get my car repaired and drive home in peace and quiet and they didn't even do the work but we're not afraid to recommend somewhere that I could afford. Before Thanksgiving, I went to Raffield tire before travelling and received a tire rotation and balance. While on the trip, I got a flat and realized that they had not returned my lug key to the vehicle. Because of the ordeal, I ended up with damage to my car and stranded for a night in Birmingham, Al. When I returned to Macon, I asked for my lug key back, which was never found. I asked for compensation for tire removal, and Raffield referred me to their customer service manager. I called that man over 10 times and have yet to receive a single phone call in reply. Point in full, Raffield Tire and its entire agency has zero customer relations division. Any issues you may have are yours to carry. Their satisfaction guarantee is a sham. There are better auto service businesses in town. Visit Mechanical Specialty for a better alternate. I've never been disappointed with their work in the 10 years I have lived in Macon. read more

These guys saved me, my car is kind of junky but they keep me patched together ! Always happy to see me , and Friday when at the worst possible time I broke down on on the way to taking my mom for her chemo treatment Not only did they get me towed lickety split, the manager Dale came and took us to her appointment, then sent someone to pick us up when we were done. The repair was a simple one (bolt fell out of the alternator) and I was in the car and gone before I realized they did not charge me to replace that bolt. I am their customer forever, Kindness and compassion are in short supply these days. These guys have it down pat. I highly recommend this store. read more

I suppose because I'm a female, assumption is I'm completely stupid. I was quoted over $500 of work that was unnecessary. Plus of course, "ma'am you need new tires". I have always taken my car to the Rocky Creek location. But because they closed, decided to go here. Never again. The work I needed, cost $60. There's no justification for making me get unnecessary work because you think I'll fall for the okey doke. read more

VERY BAD STAY AWAY!!! I had water pump put on my beamer and the bolts came out soon after. I asked Dale the manager(asshole) or whatever his position is about doing work on another vehicle that wasn't as "complicated" as the beamer thinking they could fix it. I explained to him what problem I was having and he told me over the phone that wasn't the problem. I did my research and I told him to just put part on and if it don't work on well I'm still gonna pay. They replaced old part with new and the jeep runs great and its been a year or so. They overcharge for service which I never complained about but not a smart group of guys when I comes to auto repair. read more

My wife and I have been buying tires at Raffield since I retired from Goodyear as an ASE certified technician (brakes, steering, and suspension) about 18 years ago. The past several times my wife took her car in to have the tires rotated and balanced, she was told the rear brakes were worn out. She would let me know what they said, but every time I checked them in my well equipped home shop, the pads were less than 25% worn. For my wife's peace of mind, and to silence the "technician", I installed new pads and rotors. Less than 25,000 miles after the rear brake job, the "techs" are telling her the rear pads are worn out and in need of a $229.50 brake job. I checked the pads again and they are barely worn. Not sure whats going on at Raffield Tire Master but BE CAREFUL! read more
