When she finally located one through Hutchinson GMC Cadillac, she engaged in ten full days of communication with their salesman to ensure every detail was in place. We live three hours away, so she specifically asked--multiple times--whether she needed to place any earnest money to secure the vehicle. She was assured "No, it's yours. Come Saturday." We were texting salesperson Saturday am. Based on their word, we drove three hours, only to receive a phone call minutes before pulling into the dealership informing us that the vehicle had been sold. Although the salesperson knew we were driving up to purchase vehicle. No communication whatsoever. This was not an oversight--this was a complete breakdown of professional responsibility. When we arrived, I addressed the salesman directly. To be fair, he seemed inexperienced and poorly trained. The real failure came from the management team. When I asked for a supervisor, I was met not with accountability or an apology, but with an insincere, scripted sales pitch--the kind you hear from someone more concerned with deflecting blame than resolving an issue. I made it clear that what occurred was unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely unacceptable. As we exited, the supervisor called out, "Drive safe going home," with unmistakable sarcasm. That comment alone reflects an astounding lack of maturity, professionalism, and customer respect. Only after we were already two miles down the interstate did the General Manager contact us. And the reason for the call was obvious: he had been informed that I intended to leave a negative review. Suddenly, he was eager to "make it right." Not because he valued us as customers, but because he wanted to shield the dealership from public accountability and protect his year-end customer service metrics. He claimed to have "another XT5 identical to the one you wanted." We returned--only to find a burgundy not white vehicle that was nowhere near what was promised. This was a transparent attempt to pacify us long enough to prevent a negative review. It was manipulative and unprofessional. At no point did the dealership offer: * Gas reimbursement * A meal voucher * A gift card * A sincere apology * Any form of compensation for a wasted six-hour trip Nothing. After causing significant inconvenience, they provided zero effort to correct their failure. I work in public service. If we inconvenienced citizens like this, we would immediately provide support--fuel cards, meal vouchers, whatever was necessary--to make it right. The fact that Hutchinson Cadillac did not speaks volumes. This dealership may have inflated online ratings, but it only takes one experience like ours to reveal the truth: Hoskins GMC Cadillac is mismanaged, poorly trained, and prioritizes protecting its image over practicing integrity. To the General Manager: Your reactive, review-driven approach to customer care is not leadership. It is damage control. And it is obvious. We will never do business with this dealership again. driving to Florida yesterday, and our truck had a major issue that required a stop at a GMC service and we made it here. We were treated with such care by everyone we encountered. we ended up buying a new truck to get on the road again. The sales people were very accommodating and efficient. explained things well. general Manager welcomed us and then continued through the process to check in on the progress. service department helped unload and reload trucks and transfer some of the items we wanted to keep. They were sensitive to our time and got us on our way in a timely manner. we cannot thank them enough. plus we love the new truck read more

I purchased a 2024 Cadillac Escalade in April 2024 and the dealership honored everything we negotiated over the phone. I drove from Augusta, GA on a Saturday to pick up the car and it was washed and out front with my name on it. Kt did take a little long for the paperwork because the dealership was full of buyers but everything turned out well and I drove back to Augusta with a new SUV. My experience at this dealership started off wonderfully. I made small talk with the owner, and he answered my questions and showed me features on the GMC truck I was considering. The sales associate was friendly, courteous, and I was ready to buy the truck after my test drive. I was presented with an out the door price and I was ready to write a check, but the manager claimed that there was a mistake on my offer and they brought me a new one for ten thousand dollars more. Was the original an innocent mistake? Was it a bait and switch? Did things change when it was realized that I was serious about being a cash buyer? I don't know, I'll never know for sure. The next day I was willing to let this issue go if they'd negotiate that newly-10k-higher pricepoint with me, but they insisted that the inflated number I had was the best they'd do. I was fired through a email by some random guy who claimed to be the new manager! So this is what happened.... The hired me and a few others from Five Star in hopes to "Improve" the service department. The manager JAI WALKER was the best thing to happen to them. However he trusted Mr Hutchinson and his minions Kevin Clause& Steve Winters to much and they did him REALLY DIRTY. Mr Kevin knew I was out with covid for the 2nd time. And proceeded to have this new fella fire me over an email. Even though I got Covid from other employees and I had a Doctors note with my positive results. We was not instructed to wear mask nor have the vaccine even though we were in and out of customers vehicles ALL DAY! (HOPE YALL DISINFECT when getting ur vehicle back) I'm not upset they fired me bc that has to be one of the worst places I've ever worked. At least FIVE STAR shows appreciation to their employees. Mr Hutchinson never once even said hello to me. Also if ur vehicle is taking longer than expected just know it's probably bc one of Hutchinsons friends or family members must have brought their personal vehicle in and it WILL be seen B4 yours no matter how long u been without a car! Cabin filters and Air filters is OVER PRICED and can easily be put in even by a child. Record ur vehicle B4 it goes into service. PARTS is NOT the reason it's taking so long for ur vehicle to be serviced. Call them urself to find out. Or better yet GMC customer service number is on Google and they will do all the calling for u and keep u updated! If they say they don't have a LOANER 9 times outta 10 it's a lie. I had my Cadillac XTS in for repair of its A/C, but, when I picked it up, it wad quite diry, even though the rep said it had been washed. I put in a complaint form and the manager of the repair dept called me and said bring it back in. So, I did but, after picking up my car, I noticed my rims were spotty and badly discolored on mos of them! I brought it back in and showed it to the manager and he gave me a promise to try to rectify the damages, and he would get back with me! after refusing to be up sale over the phone for a oil change and flat tire on a 2month old car i get to app and the man tells me i have to upgrade oil change to get car wash and tire rotation and inspection, so i do. Two hrs later car is still dirty, i was told because a car wash would take hours,ok so why did you up sale me with a car wash but dont do it? they didnt rotation the tire because the same tire was goin flat when i left so i upgraded to not get anything but MAYBEEEE a oil change. They tried the full court press on me while I was getting my truck serviced there to get me to trade in and buy another truck. I agreed to a price/payment that I thought was fair, told them that was the only way I'd buy it. So of course, they come back and say no we can't do that but we can do this.
