One star. Walk into the Nike Factory Store expecting outlet deals, not a scavenger hunt with fine print. Big bold signs screaming "30% OFF," racks full of mixed items, and then you find out the discount only applies to a small print "fleece only". Meanwhile, similar-looking activewear is sitting right there in the same rack like it belongs. I'll own my part, I didn't see the "fleece only" note. That's on me. But when you've got 20+ pieces of non-sale items sitting in the middle of a rack clearly marked for a discount, that's just bad practice. Feels less like shopping and more like a setup. First asked for clarification about how discounts work. Then a price check. After the sale I walked over to confirm sign. Someone asked me "can J help you", I Asked if this is how they normally do things? And got a casual "yeah" and a shrug. No effort to make it right, no attempt to meet halfway. Just a quick apology and move on. I've worked customer service. If something ends up on a sale rack, you own it. You fix it. Or at least try. This just felt like bait and switch with zero accountability. read more

Historically I never find good values here. It's not the largest outlet and thus the inventory and selection isn't great. But I did see some nice Jordan golf shoes on the clearance wall. Random, surprising and since the whole wall was 40% off, a decent value. But the store is always neat and tidy, and never too crowded. Overall, I have much better luck at the nearby San Clemente outlet which is at least double the size of this one. read more

Well I bought some Nike sport tech sweatpants online and on sale for $45. Had to come in for an exchange only to find the sweatpants on sale for $45 plus an additional 25% off. So they came out to about $33 each. Yes I returned the ones online and bought them cheaper! The return was quick and easy right there at the store using the Nike app. Also found some Jordan 4 RM's for $62!!! It's hit or miss but when you hit the hittins' good!! read more

It's strange that they don't carry the same shoes as their website. Before I ordered running shoes online I wanted to see if they had it there and buy in person, and to confirm the fit. I had to try different style shoes because it's all they had, and now that I ordered two pairs online I'm hoping they will work out. Also, nobody answered the phone when I tried calling to ask if the shoes were in stock. That would have saved me a trip to the store. It was my first time calling so I don't know if it's the kind of store that ignores the phone or they were legit busy. One last thing, the price online was much lower than in store for similar shoes, so it seems I don't have reason to come back to the physical store. read more

We came to the outlets just too look around and take a nice ride out. It was easy to find parking and a lot of people was their for the Presidents' Day sale and just to be out and about. This store was one of the first store we saw, so it was a must we go inside. I wasn't expecting to buy anything but when you see a deal it's a must you jump on it. There was a lot of people in this store, where you actually had to say excuse me a few times to see the product. The sale wall was pack full of youth and woman shoes. Not a lot of choices to choose from but if you look hard enough you can find it. We wasn't there long before finding the shoe that was acceptable for me. Thank goodness, we can leave now. If I could I would buy everything I saw but I'm a reasonable adult and will not fall for that state of mind. Stopped in here on Sunday while we were walking around the mall. It's been a long time since I've been to the mall so was happy to see there was a Nike outlet store. I'm partial to Nike shoes because they offer several styles of wide shoes with room in the toe box. While the rest of the store wasn't that busy, the shoe section was packed like a half off all you can eat buffet. Hard to find someone working there. Maybe because the black uniforms blend in and look like street clothes? Found an employee who showed me where to find the same pair as I was wearing. Found a couple other pairs that were equally comfortable. Prices are cheaper than the Nike website. Hard to say if they are outlet prices. But fir shoes that fit and I don't have to try down to San Diego, it's not a bad deal. Didn't buy anything. After all, Christmas is coming....et prices? read more

2.5 stars, rounded up. Besides flat shoes for lifting, I have been getting all of my exercise shoes from this location over the past at least 6 years. So, why am I only learning today about the email sign-up for deals? My cashier was awesome; she took the time to sign me up and gave me 20% off my purchase today. She explained the Nike app to me as well.... again, why has nobody else ever told me about this thing? Aside from realizing how crappy their customer service has been all these years, I like this store and this brand. I never have to "break in" Nikes; which is great because who likes jogging or even walking and being hyper-aware of each step?! Overall, I will come back because I like the products. But I am slightly disappointed because I could have been saving money had I been aware of what I mentioned above. I think this one is just okay. Most people I know tell me this location is better than the San Ysidro and Viejas one but the past few times I went it was just eh. Review during COVID-19: the store is following proper CDC guidelines by limiting the number of customers in the store at a time while ensuring that everyone in the store is wearing a facial covering. When I got to the store around 11:30am, there was a line outside the door, which looked pretty long but it went by fast. The Nike store is also located right next to wetzel pretzel, so you can always stop by there to get a quick snack and then head over to the Nike store line (that's what I did lol). The store had some good deals on select clothing. A lot of the clothing were regular priced and by regular priced, I mean still expensive since it's Nike. When I was there, I did see some good deals on sports bras and running shorts. For the shoes, they had some great deals on popular shoes like Nike Airmax! The shoe that I bought ended up having an additional 20% off the already discounted price, so I ended up getting some Nike Airmax 200s for $48! STEALS. read more

Why is there a return, exchanges, and order online booth separate from the cash register if they make me wait through the normal line to make returns, exchanges, and online orders? Defeats the purpose right. When I asked about why they weren't taking returns I received the reply "just go over there" and was pointed towards the regular line. This store was better before renovation as it had a-lot more merchandise offerings. Now the store feels smaller , has a-lot of full priced items and a-lot less of a selection. They did put in a fancy return counter / online order pick up counter but I am not sure how they are even allowed to be in a outlet mall seeing as though they don't really offer outlet items/ pricing. They do have some discounted shoes but there actually overpriced and of old styles if you really know your nike products. If your not looking for outlet prices and nothing specific then it may be ok to visit this store it may just work for you. read more

Maybe I shouldn't even leave a review, because this is one of my best kept secrets! I am an avid runner and a big Nike fan and I go through running shoes extremely quickly. Probably every several months. I used to order my Nike running shoes online, but many times they seemed extremely expressive (especially when you consider how quickly I go through shoes). My husband suggested I check the outlet for the models I needed and I'll admit I was highly skeptical but they had everything I needed! The have some really cool, newer running shoe models at reduced prices, along with just cool casual ones as well. I have found everything from my Nike Epic react running shoes to really unique colored Huaraches! And I really wanted to leave a review because the customer service I received today was amazing! The man working the cash register was so nice and helpful and even went an extra step to make sure I didn't have any additional coupons on my Nike account! I had a silly number of online returns [purchased via the Nike App w/ApplePay] due to sending them to myself rather than my sister for her kids... than learning their shoe sizes changed overnight- which happens with kiddos. The employees were INCREDIBLE. I do know that I walked into the store on a weekend during a 'lull'; it's adjacent to the Carlsbad Flower Fields which is in bloom- and, it's clearly not usual to have any point of the weekend hours without a massive line- they also do have Q minders like the 'airport' retractable situation(s), and, as I am local, will do any future returns [promise won't be as many!] during weekday hours. Overall, highly recommend- I personally purchased each item via ApplePay, and, I was directly refunded to the associated Amex with my iPhone/the passcode for each return. read more

I'm sad to say that this is the smallest Nike outlet store in all of San Diego, and by that I mean compared to Las Americas Outlet or Viejas Outlet. The section of clothes for women or men is smaller than the section for shoes. And they didn't have that many to choose from. I wanted to buy this jacket that is always in stock with many colors at other outlets, but only saddened to find out that they only had one color fully stocked, and the other color I wanted only had one size left. The shoe selection was okay, I found a pair of Huraches that were good priced, and they had a bigger selection of sandals, which I also bought pair. Overall, okay experience, but I would rather go to the other locations for bigger selections. read more

Went here hoping to find shoes for my youngest and they only had about 3-4 choices which is sooooo disappointing but I know now it's an 'outlet' which isn't much cheaper then the regular Nike stores. 6/23/24..... I went to the Nike outlet in hopes of finding a shoe for my picky son. I was greeted by Mr. Thomas, a wonderful young man that went above and beyond to assist me while I struggled communicating with my autistic son. He was very patient and kept showing me viable options. When I thought Thomas was done helping because my son had frustrated me until I was done shopping, my day was made with him finding a shoe I liked. He listened when I told him my difficulties of comfort in shoes because of me not having an arch and an injury. He recommended shoes of interest for my son and me. The shoe he found for me had the perfect support with less strain on my injured ankle. I appreciate his hard-work and diligence. I hope all the employees strive to make their customers happy and comfortable. We also saved the recommendation he made for my son. I'm just walking out of this store and I can say I'm truly Disappointed and disgusted with the service. Let me begin - Walked in the store at 2:30 on June 2nd (Sunday) Very busy, lots of customers and people looking for deals, being that it is an outlet store, it's expected to have a crowd, moving on We were looking for some slides for my granddaughter and asked an associate about a size, he made little effort to help us and just said, no I don't think they come in that size. Uh ok? Next point - we walked away and looked against the wall and really just browsing our way to the front. 2 associates were discussing customers, One was saying and I quote" I had a customer ask me to try on my shoes, like we don't have these. I was so over it!" Ok my problem, with this is ... DO NOT WEAR SHOES THAT YOU NO LONGER CARRY, if you are out of the shoes then offer to call another location and for Pete's sake DO NOT DISCUSS the issues you have about other customers in FRONT of other customers. Last point - Walking towards the front at this point; passed by an associate telling another associate " don't go to the other side, it's full of fucking people" Ok what the hell!! As a lifelong fan of Nike rarely do I ever say anything bad about them. This location felt a little smaller than other outlets, but it comes down to timing and selection. The trick with Nike Outlets is knowing the value you're getting and not shopping expecting to find what you want. Friends and family sales happen about quarterly and usually they have some type of promotion going on. With that mentality you can leave empty handed and be ok especially knowing more locations are popping up all over the place. If you don't already have the app, download it. I rarely purchase off it, but you can check out faster, know about sales ahead of time and track all your orders (don't need additional receipts). On this day the shoe selection wasn't great, but I did find a sweater I really liked for 65% off so I was happy. Parking got a bit crazy, so I suggest going to an outlet that's not in an outlet center to avoid the madness. Nike is big enough to not need the additional traffic that an outlet center brings. #justdoit read more

Horrible horrible customer service. They would not allow me to exchange a pair of shoes that were obviously hardly used. The whole undersole came off, and it was obvious they were defective. The uncooperative manager told me I had to contact Nike and mail the shoes to them and deal with them. Aren't they Nike? I even told him I did not want my money back, and in fact had found a pair of shoes that I wanted to purchase. I just was looking for store credit so I could buy the pair of shoes I wanted. I will never shop at this store anymore. There should be at least some goodwill to a customer that wants to return a defective pair of unworn shoes. read more
