Amazing food in a lovely setting near downtown Suwanee. We arrived a little later than expected so I felt a bit rushed but everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. We got the hummus and pita. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best hummus I've ever had. And I don't particularly like hummus! We also got the fattoush salad and the lamb skewers. The portions are generous so we had leftovers as well. There are a lot of Mediterranean restaurants in the Atlanta area but this is definitely one of my favorites. It's worth the drive.

Love that we found this spot. Service was friendly. Food was perfection. Drinks were good. It's not a huge restaurant but it's big enough and can be considered casual or romantic. The dessert was a big surprise. I never would have thought cheese would go with syrup and ice cream! It was yummy! The mixture of all of those items together kept it on the sweet side. I'll definitely be back.

This was our first visit and it did not disappoint! The space is beautiful and very clean. Our server, Johanna, provided excellent customer service. We ordered from the lunch menu and tried the majadera and chicken bowls - both were incredibly fresh and flavorful, with the perfect portion of chicken. Will definitely be back to try more!

I spent 1.5 hrs in rush hour traffic to get to Raik and it was sooo worth it! The staff was super welcoming and there is free and ample parking nearby, which is always superb. I ordered the blueberry lemonade, which was refreshing. My friends and I then started off our meal with the eggplant baladi and Palestinian Mhammar flatbread, which were both so flavorful and delicious. I ended up getting the chicken kabob with za'atar fries as my entree. Both were wonderful, of course, but I especially loved how tender the chicken. For dessert, we split the knafeh, of course, which was among the best knafeh I have ever had. Overall, I loved my experience at Raik and cannot wait to visit again!

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely incredible, and I will definitely stop by here again for lunch, or dinner!

Came here for lunch with a friend while I was in town. This was a really nice Mediterranean place with great ambiance. There were lots of vegetarian and halal options. The food was very fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed this place for lunch.

Love the atmosphere! The happy hour is fun (bar only), Melissa was our bartender! She made the best drink (Detox Please), it was smooth, refreshing in 3 different ways and it had great eye appeal! Food was delicious, the dressings were fabulous- but Detox Please, I've told about to more people than I know!

Raik restaurant is such a good option for Mediterranean food. Their menu is extensive and has something good for everyone. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and the ambience is quite lovely. The seating is very nice and comfortable. The service I would say is bit on the slower side but overall the food is the main attraction of this place. If I was talking to management I would tell them to get their servers to pay attention and make sure that their tables are taken care of. We started our meal with baba ganoush dip and fluffy pita bread. Their bread was nice and piping hot. Then we had their beef flatbread which tasted amazing. For my entree I had chicken kabobs with lentil and bulgar mix. My entree was great. Lastly in desserts we tried the chocolate cake with kunafe layers and that was pretty good as well. I will definitely will be going back and trying more food choices. I really enjoyed the food quality of this place.

This was a great experience. The space is bright and beautiful. They have live music on Fridays. We couldn't snag a last minute reservation so we chose to sit at the bar. Our service was excellent. I tried one of their winter cocktails, the sugar cookie espresso martini. It was delicious. We started off with the baba ganoush. The pita that comes with it is so light fluffy. It's one of the best I've had. I got the chicken kebab which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Hubby got the lamb, and it was a huge portion. He liked it a lot. I like the offer the lentil side instead of just rice. We can't wait to be back.

Went on a Friday night and enjoyed the atmosphere--nicely decorated interior with live music. We ordered the fried calamari, fried cauliflower, salmon kabob, and filet mignon kabob. The filet mignon was tender and super tasty, definitely the star for me. Our server was friendly and attentive. The calamari portion was small for the price and the pieces were cut a bit too tiny, and cocktail menu could use more variety. It was the main reason I'm taking a star off. Overall, good vibes and food, I'll be back!

You knew this place had the right atmosphere because of the parties who were just standing around and talking right outside the restaurant. Every course we had was impeccable. This ranks with some of the best Mediterranean food we have ever had. And our server was fast, friendly and made great recommendations. Another plus was outlet next to the table so that you can charge your phone or get some work done while you dine. But the atmosphere lends itself to a more romantic setting with a nice bar, soft lighting and nice, decorative touches.

You get more than you paid!!! RAIK has quickly become my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Suwanee. The interior design is stylish and well thought-out, giving off a near high-end vibe, yet the prices remain very reasonable for the value you get. The salad and hummus were fresh and flavorful, while both the chicken and beef kabobs were excellent. We came as a group of 10 with plenty of orders, yet the food arrived promptly, and our table was well attended to. The service is efficient, though not quite at a professional fine-dining level--something to keep in mind if you're planning an early-stage date or an important occasion, as you might encounter a more casual approach. That said, you can clearly feel the owner's vision throughout the restaurant--great location, delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and fair menu pricing. The highlight during my visit was the live jazz saxophone, which added a special touch to the evening. Considering all these positives, I'm happy to overlook the slightly less formal service at this price point. In fact, I left feeling that I got more than what I paid for at RAIK today.

Nice cozy Mediterranean restaurant. Food was good, however, it was a little on the pricy side. We ordered the chicken and beef/lamb kabob. Both were good! Customer service was nice!

I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

Unfortunately, that excitement disappeared pretty quickly. We waited approximately 10 minutes without being acknowledged. A woman standing behind us who had arrived after we did was approached by the bartender and had her order taken first. I'm not going to speculate about the reason, but sitting there and watching it happen certainly didn't make us feel welcome. At that point I decided not to order anything because I already had doubts about staying. My wife ordered a glass of white wine that was supposed to be a 6 oz pour. When it arrived, we both questioned the amount. I even noticed other glasses of wine at a nearby table that appeared to have considerably larger pours. I've included a photo so people can judge for themselves. We weren't looking for special treatment because it was our anniversary. We simply expected the same basic level of acknowledgement and service as everyone else. It's unfortunate because we came in genuinely excited to try a local place and celebrate together. The atmosphere has potential, but our first impression of the service made us feel like we'd be better off spending our anniversary somewhere else.

Nice ambiance for a Gwinnett experience...The staff is very pleasant, and the Siracha wings are amazing!!! Presentation was so simple but nice... My friend got another chicken dish, that kinda looked like a Cordon Bleu, and that was quite tasty as well. Drinks are fair, (tiny portions with ice), and the music is good. The prices were so outrageously high I started wondering if I was accidentally buying shares in the restaurant instead of ordering a steak. Then, before I could even process the emotional damage, I noticed they had already slapped an automatic tip on the receipt. Bold move. Usually people wait until after they've earned it. I would give a better tip at Texas Roadhouse, a real American Dining. The steak arrived looking like it had lost a fight with the shrink ray from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I've seen bigger samples at Costco. It was somehow both tiny and salty as shit, which is an impressive achievement in all the wrong ways. The mac and cheese tasted like someone whispered the words "cheddar" and "seasoning" into the kitchen and called it a day. I've had more flavorful ice cubes. At one point I looked down at my plate and genuinely wondered if this was the kids' menu portion by mistake. As we departed this fine establishment, I felt as though the restaurant had not merely emptied my wallet, but reached into my very soul and repossessed my financial future. My pocket had a hole in it by the time I left, my stomach was disappointed, and my dad deserved an apology letter from the chef. If Shakespeare himself had dined here, Hamlet would've been five acts of him debating whether "to eat, or not to eat." The good parts didn't outweigh the not-so-good for me. 1. Located on the 9th floor of The Westin, BUT, parking is mad affordable, which is a big relief as usually hotel rooftops have a static valet parking fee for $25 or more. There is a garage right in front of the entrance and its 5 bucks for up to 4 hours. 2. Views - decent enough for the 9th floor, but mostly overlooks trees and some highways. There isn't much to actually look at as far as a skyline. I was here in the daytime though, maybe at night with whatever city lights coming in, it may be a lil more charming. 3. Ambience - the inside was really nice, the tables were big and seating was comfy, a combo of cushioned chairs and velvety booths or couches. nice decor, and the outside portion of the rooftop also seemed very spacious, with a big main area as well as seating & a few more tables down the side of the building. I went during the yacht rock brunch period, so there was a live DJ spinning old hits from the 70s/80s. the music was at a cool volume, not so loud that you can't hear anyone speak, but not too low like background music - loud enough that you feel like its okay to vibe out. 4. Food & Service - this is where it fell apart for me. when i was seated, it took about 15-20 minutes for my waitress to come and ask me what i wanted to drink. when she finally did, i realized this same woman had walked past me several times before, on the way to do nothing in particular. she didn't introduce herself but was polite. she brought out my coffee and took my order, it took an hour for my food to come out. and the place wasn't crowded. only 2 couples sitting outside and about 40% capacity ithe indoor section where I was. and the food was subpar. it all came out hot, BUT. chicken sausage was hard to bite because casing was burnt and tough. eggs were cooked with so much butter it just tasted like i was eating fluffy butter. biscuit was dry and couldn't possibly be homemade. 'parmesan potatoes' had a few sad dried dots of cheese and parsley but no seasoning whatsoever. i forced myself to eat about half. I live far from Duluth, so really no reason to come back. Maybe a nighttime hang with drinks only, on the outdoor terrace would be a slightly better experience. But I don't have to find out.

The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
