Food was delicious. Service was fabulous. Ambiance is expensive yet quaint. They allow dogs and even provided a dog bowl

Truffle Swiss Burger (hold the swiss)

We considered booking here for our rehearsal dinner. We ended up not reserving with them due to the amount of people we were planning to have didn't work with their space options. However, if you are considering this they do have 3 venue spots at their restaurant and are definitely worth checking out! This restaurant has a timeless look with the all wood interior. The day we visited it was right before closing so we called ahead to order. Even with us coming here so late in the afternoon for them they were accommodating and very welcoming! We had a wonderful experience here. I had the Truffle Swiss Burger (hold the swiss for my plate). My husband had the same thing including the Swiss, we very much enjoyed it!

We love the RR House...only reason for four this time is that our server needs more training, specifically knowledge of drinks and menu. Our group sat in the back, fireplace had the place warm and cozy. Such a nice room! The surf and turf looked amazing, good feedback. The Ahi Tuna looked amazing, also very tasty. I had the smoked meatloaf, truly d-lish! Don't order w/o getting the Gouda Mac-n-Cheese, spectacular! It was great to run into and old friend, back East now for four years, good to see you Karl ! Cheers!

This was a spur of the moment decision to eat here. The staff was very friendly and we were seated within a few minutes. We started off with (not pictured) bacon wrapped scallops over sweet potato hash. They were delicious. I could have eaten all 3 myself, and we shared the Pork Belly Sliders. My husband didn't care for the sliders with the mustard and pickles but my mom and I really enjoyed them! For entrees we chose Short Ribs, delicious had a very strong red wine sauce that my husband wasn't a fan of, the baked meatloaf that was delicious, and the special of the day the Halibut, amazing! We ended the night with the crème brûlée, very good, hard crispy top, and fried cheesecake, we thought the cheesecake was a little too sweet. All in all it was delicious, it is a little classier and expensive.

Aesthetic: warm welcome when arriving. Place is charming with railroad theme. Love it! My first time here & I feel the history. Great waiter & service from bus lady the cleaned off table. Drinks: pour water for you & leave a glass bottle there for us. I got a signature cocktail: pomegranate cosmo & hubby got a hibiscus mule. Both tasted fresh & so good. Small plate: ordered shrimp tempura with black rice & sliced jalapeño. I'd rather non-fried shrimp but this was goood. Shrimp were jumbo sized. Dinner: my hubby got the special mahi mahi with Cajun rice & asparagus---Get This!! So good! I got fried fish which was just ok but that dipping sauce made it taste better. It came with pea purée which was amazing. I don't like peas but I like that! My hubby & I cut our fish in half & shared each other's. The waiter said, they might put the mahi mahi on the menu permanently-Yes, please do! Best fish I've ever had. This is a is quality not quantity place. Dessert: we shared the crème brûlée since it's my bday.

Bed

Staying in the hotel. This is my second year. I've stayed here and this is the most warm, comfortable, welcoming experience I've ever had. Quite frankly, this might be the most comfortable bed in which I've ever slept. The employees are absolutely elite. I travel all throughout the United States and I wish I had enough words to describe how wonderful this place is.

This little out-of-the-way restaurant is a true gem. Went here for brunch on a gray Spring morning and had the best time and amazing food. Our party of 4 was seated at a funky steampunky booth with a lovely view of their outdoor seating area. (I can't wait to return with nicer weather to sit out there!) I had the Bloody Mary Burger after trying to decide among 5 or 6 menu items that all sounded fantastic. When our charming server (Bradley?) asked how I'd like it cooked I gave my standard answer of "as rare as you can legally serve it to me" because I know most establishments are weird about rare ground beef. This burger came out PERFECTLY with the exact amount of juicy pinkness that I love. It had celery leaves, a blue cheese cream sauce that was sloppy and delicious and I licked every bit off my fingers. I had the opportunity to taste the breakfast risotto and it was delectable. Two other table mates had the steak and eggs and it too was an enviable dish. I do not know what kind of coffee they are serving, but it was delicious. I am planning to make reservations for a date night dinner with my hubs there next week. I can't wait to go back and try dinner.

Ever Grain Unleashed IPA and Manhattan

We came away highly impressed with the Railroad House Inn. The history and architecture of the building is amazing, so much originality you are taken back in time. The pan seared salmon was phenomenal with a very generous portion. The flat iron steak with asparagus and mushrooms was near rock star. The lady says the Railroad House sets the standard! I can't argue with that.

Every staff member we have interacted with have all been professional & friendly. The restaurant has warm inviting decor & we love the bar area. Lots of great choices on the menu & wonderful daily specials. We love this restaurant so much that we hosted a baby shower may of 2026 in one of their upstairs private rooms. The event planner was great to work. She had wonderful suggestions on menu & set up. We chose a brunch buffet & added some of their appetizers & fresh fruit. We had rave reviews from all who attended on the venue, staff & food. We will continue to dine here and would highly recommend the space upstairs for private events. The basic spaghetti and meatballs were very good and came with 4 meatballs. The Tour of Italy was good with the highlight being the alfredo sauce. The Tortellini Boscaiola was flavorful. All the entrees came with a large salad and garlic knots.    The wine was interesting. We tried chianti and found it to be too juice forward with a bit of carbonation for some reason.  Overall a good experience.

We came across blue-collar restaurant, but when we pulled in, I was surprised to see it was located inside a golf country club. I almost turned around, but my daughter encouraged us to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was beautiful inside, with a peaceful view overlooking the golf course that made for a really relaxing lunch. The food was excellent. I ordered the salmon with vegetable risotto special, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. My daughter is nursing, and my granddaughter has soy and dairy allergies, so we had to be very careful with her meal. Our waiter, Matt, was outstanding. He went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen multiple times to make sure everything was completely free of soy and dairy. He helped put together a custom salad bowl for her, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had such a lovely experience--from the food to the atmosphere to the attentive service. I would absolutely recommend this spot and would gladly return.
