All finished in front. Neighbor has new siding as well.
    Christine S.

I had to get my house siding replaced because when my home was built they used that Masonite siding. My siding was absorbing water whenever it rained and in areas was actually crumbling. So I bit the bullet and got 3 or 4 bids for replacing it. I ended up choosing Rain City Exteriors out of Kirkland (raincityexteriors.com). In fact 4 of the 6 units in my small condo complex have had Rain City Exteriors replace their siding. All the residents are happy with the work. They provide a good product in being certified Hardie Board installers. The crew boss, Jose Aguas, was always available via text, phone call, or email for any needed communication. I will recommend Rain City Exteriors for any residing or exterior painting jobs you may need doing.

They were the first company out of several companies to come "give estimates" that actually included a quote and a price that was also reasonable. One company gave a quote but were significantly more costly than this company, by over $10k. Other companies came and walked around my house but never actually produced a quote with a cost of the project. This company showed up, gave a reasonable quote, gave a start time (which was a week later and might partially be due to the time of year they were able to get me in so quickly), then showed up on the day they said they would and at the time they said they would. Their work was solid and included painting of the new siding they put on my house. I would recommend them for siding work

Not good at following up with mistakes. Pump jack left multiple holes and damaged shingles to new roof. My new roof now leaks when it rains. Notified Rain City twice of the issue. First attempt at repair was substandard. Missed multiple spots and used white caulking on a brown pattern roof. Unsightly to say the least. Roof is/was under warranty! The damage includes the underlayment and the new plywood at 16 nail holes. No this is not a good review!

It's now been 10 months since completion and we've experienced zero issues whatsoever, which is testament to the quality of the work. From the start, Kirill was responsive and responsible. His bid was competitive, and he was extremely detail-oriented. Since we wanted to order our own windows from Dunn Lumber, we had multiple conversations to ensure the measurements were exactly right. His thoroughness paid off -- all the windows arrived exactly as planned, avoiding delays or returns. During the installation process itself, Kirill and his crew (Ivan and Ivan) were always on time, courteous, efficient, and professional. They may be the ONLY contractors we've ever worked with who finished within the timeline that they laid out. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Kirill and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to replace windows or doors. It would be nice if they also offered finishing services, like drywall touch-up and painting, but the quality of the work that they do specialize in is absolutely impeccable. Don't think twice about hiring Cascade!

Ivan and his team arrived on time and completed the install, replacing the exterior window and the interior door trim to match what was installed (but with better quality). Ivan was even able to address our misaligned original window trim. Now our drafty house feels sealed and quiet, with a noticable decrease in the time the heater is running. Kirill was responsive to any questions and worked with us to resolve a misunderstanding of weekend scheduled work. Ivan, Roman, and Teras were all attentive to our interior and made a point to clean up afterwards.

Absolutely terrible experience. It started with them coming out to do a bid on a window…read morereplacement. The person that came out, struggled to get the measurement, but was pleasant. I was clear that this job would require scaffolding and was tricky to get to. They sent me a bid, which seemed pretty low, but after speaking with other providers I went with Elite Pacific. Communication slowed from there, but they eventually got back to me and asked to remeasure the window. The person came out and remeasured, during that time she was complaining about the company and how they promised her a "glazer" position. Regardless, after that they went completely dark for about 4 days. I finally called and got ahold of Omid. Omid apologized and said they had to remeasure (3rd time). I asked why, he said that the original measurement was incorrect and the 2nd measurement never got to them because the person quit. Although frustrated, I said fine, and they sent two guys, much more knowledgeable than the others to remeasure. Again, they were pleasant and asked to take the trim off the window. I was fine with this, but it did expose mold (the window was leaking), this is key to this review. After the last measurement (3rd time), they went dark again. I finally got ahold of Omid (after around 5 days) and he said that he was sorry, he had to rebid the project, because they had NOT considered all the scaffolding necessary. Even though I was frustrated, I said fine and awaited the updated bid. I waited about 3 more days, but the bid never came to me. I called, which thery did not answer, left a voicemail, waited another day, with no response. Over the next 7 days, I called about 5 times, left voicemails, and sent 4 emails directly to Omid. I never received a reply. This is not a professional company. I believe they are a company owned by a bigger company (as you go through a messaging service each time you call). I also believe they were screening my calls. The simple truth, is that they did not want to do this job, which is fine, but then just inform me. I am also pursuing a complaint with the BBB, because they did expose mold in my home, which I had to cut out of the drywall myself. I wasted weeks with them because they did not have maturity to simply say "not interested". To compare, there were three other companies that said, because of the location, this was not the job for them and suggested other providers. I cannot stress this enough, stay away. They do not deserve your business.

The quote given was honoured when I was ready to go forward with the installation. The windows were installed yesterday, and the crew did an amazing job. They managed to complete the whole house install in 1 day, versus 2. They were efficient, clean, and so, so kind. My initial contact was with Ireland Wood. She had initially dealt with my husband and was SO kind when she found out he had died. Summer Schertz coordinated the install, and Phillip led the install team. I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Lake Washington Windows. I love my new windows! Thank you everyone on the team.

I ordered a single sliding glass door, and it took approximately 178 days--nearly six months--to have it correctly installed. The original installation included the wrong door, and the installers also damaged the fixed panel. What made the experience even more frustrating was the repeated failure to honor scheduled appointments. Multiple times, the company scheduled and confirmed service visits, only to never show up or communicate that they weren't coming. Each time, I had to move furniture, remove window coverings, clear access to the door, and rearrange my schedule, only to do it all over again for the next appointment. This level of service is simply unacceptable. If you're looking for Milgard products, I would recommend Sound View Windows or Lundgren Enterprises instead. Based on my experience, they offer much better customer service, often at the same or even a lower price.

We were…read moreout of town when they installed our windows and they installed windows, one with a hole in it and another with a large defect in the middle. The defective window is our large front window and it was very noticeable when looking at our house. We have video of proof of them finding the hole and examining it shortly after install, the contractor told his boss about the hole in the window and they said nothing to us about it. They tried to get us to sign off on the project without telling us about the hole, but luckily we noticed it and brought it to their attention at which point they informed us they already knew about the hole. Horrible business practice. They took no responsibility for installing a window with a hole and another with a large defect, but made us go through the window manufactures warranty just days after they installed the faulty windows. We then had to wait a month for the manufacture to come throw up a new pain on the two windows in 10 minutes and leave. They did not restore the argon gas in the windows which improves energy efficiency and raises the temperature to prevent condensation and moisture build up. Within two days, the two replaced windows were completely covered in condensation, none of the other windows had condensation and they are claiming this is normal. When their sales person came to the house we showed him all the upstairs windows and asked him to add to the quote and scope of work the replacement of all ten of the upstairs window sills, he said no problem, will be easy. When they came to do the project they replaced 10 of the 12 downstairs window sills instead of the upstairs window sills and told us because we were not there for the critical measurement this mistake was our fault. They originally said for a large additional fee, much more expensive than we were originally told they would come back in 2 months and replace the upstairs window sills and later said they would not finish the work even though they were paid for the entire job. We chose to go with them only because they could get the install done the soonest, big mistake on our part. If we could do it again we would go with Window World, their presentation was much more thorough and informative. We spent over $34k for 25 windows to be replaced and window sills to be redone and have an incomplete project, which they are refusing to finish or take ownership for the mistakes. They told the finance company the job was complete while we were still out of town even knowing there was a hole in one of the windows. To end it all they are threatening to sue us if we leave them bad reviews. What a nightmare, save yourself the hassle and disaster and DO NO go with Energy Exteriors NW!
