The terrible facial mentioned in the previous post was by Jaclyn - not Leanna. Have had Leanna after I asked to see someone else and she was wonderful, professional, clean and lovely. Jaiden I continue to recommend for massage. I continue to visit as outside of that one very negative experience with that one facial with Jaclyn, I have had a very pleasant and worthwhile experience with Leanna for Facials and Jaiden for massage.

He checked in often to make sure the pressure was ok and asked my permission before he massaged my glutes. I cannot recommend him enough. I then had a facial and that was excellent as well. The esthetician asked if I would like to have extractions done, prior to doing it. I also added on the lymphatic drainage massage to my facial and it was lovely. The women at the front desk were so welcoming to me when they first greeted me and at the end when I paid. I will absolutely be back!

I asked her about this and she said don't worry they look fine. Called a few times expressing my concerns about the appearance and that I was having a reaction to the pigment. Doreen was very off putting and said she didn't care about their current appearance that I just needed to wait for follow up appointment. The redness and pain kept getting worse so I went to Dermatologist and was told it appeared to be an allergic reaction to the pigment and not to do any follow up. I told Doreen about this and once again she dismissed my concerns and insisted I do the follow up. Now, 5 months later I still have scarring and pigment "blotches" nowhere near where my brows should be. I will not follow up based upon my Dr. advice and recommend NO ONE let her butcher their face. She is uniquely gifted and offers a creative, soothing, and individualized session. Jennifer has an amazing touch and great pacing. As she works, she skillfully uses hot stones, heating pads and hot towels to help soften up your tight spots and soothe your nervous system. She also uses the Ashiatsu bars to walk on your back. The only downside is having to peel yourself off the table at the end of the session. I could have just drifted off to sleep for hours. The office is easy to find and conveniently located, with plenty of parking. Today I was able to get an appointment in just a couple hours' notice.

As a nurse, I am always on my feet, so my calves and my feet have been very sore. I also store a lot of work stress and muscle tension in my back. But, after my massage, I walked out of the spa feeling like 1 million bucks. All that muscle tension is now immediately gone. I feel like jello and it's an amazing feeling. During the massage, I actually had a muscle spasm in my right calf. However, I know that this is because Jalisa was doing a superb job kneading my calf which caused the muscle to seize and release a lot of built up pressure (I run 4 times a week and I work 13 hours a shift for 3 shifts a week in a hospital). She immediately recognized it when it was happening and promptly massaged it until it felt like butter. As for the ambiance, the spa is an amazing place. Everything from the music, to the lighting, to the scent... this place truly cannot be better. I personally would like to thank Jalisa and the entire staff at Ripple Float & Wellness Center for an amazing experience. My mother and I went there during the weekend of my sister's graduation from Yale's School of Management(Go Bulldogs!). We booked while we were in Philly for our layover and had trouble scheduling online so we called the office. Olivia immediately scheduled us for a full spa day on Sunday and then we decided to do a separate float on Friday before dinner. Olivia was so kind and happy to help us. When we arrived on Friday we were greeted by Jade to prepare for our float session to sign our waivers. We were taken to a beautiful room with cozy blankets, salt lamps and calming lighting to begin our journey. After watching the informational video for our float session, Jade walked us back to the our separate rooms. The space was so clean and welcoming. We each had our own individuals rooms with a shower, float bath, robe, slippers and toiletries. It was an expectational experience. When we came back on Sunday for our full spa day which included a 3 min cryotherapy session, 1 hour float, 1 hour massage with Jalisa and Stephen followed by an hour sauna session. The deep tissue massages by Stephen and Jalisa were otherworldly. I usually ask for a deep tissue massage but never felt that folks were able to get deep enough, this was not the case. Both my mother and myself felt that every knot we had in our bodies was released and cared for during our session. There were multiple times I felt that multiple hands were on me though it was Stephen and my mom felt the same way with Jalisa. All staff at Ripple Float ensured we were comfortable, hydrated with their many free selections of tea, water and kombucha (available for purchase). We are both looking forward to returning for another full spa day when we are back in the city.

I highly recommend Julie Robbins for a 90 minute massage. She paid attention to the areas that I told her about and intuitively attended to areas that needed extra attention. I felt 100% better after her treatment. The nicely appointed place has a very nice waiting area and comfortable massage rooms. The Well is tucked away in a quiet area with lots of easy parking. Yes, it's focus is for women during the week, men and women are welcome on the weekends. Might be nice for a his/hers massage.
