It had nothing to do with the business, the merchandise or the workers as I've always enjoyed shopping here over the years and have many beautiful pieces that I still wear. The review was strictly about a return situation. But I was very pleased that after my posting they reached out to me right away and rectified the situation, which I really appreciated. After many days of rain and gloom and personal stress, when the sun broke through, I decided to go for a drive to Folsom and check out the Historic shopping district that I hadn't visited in decades. Being so close to Christmas, I was surprised that many of the stores weren't opening before 10 or even 11am. I was not the only would-be shopper who had to simply peer longingly through windows and then walk on; luckily, Rainbow Bridge Jewelers was one of the shops that was open. This place was a find I wish I had discovered sooner. They have wonderful handcrafted jewelry with a large selection from many of my favorite designers and there are very special one of a kind items in silver with semi-precious stones. It's when I am in a place like this (pardon me ... did I just drool on your display case?) that I wish I had unlimited funds; but really it's not necessary to be rich to find wonderful things here to buy, much is affordable. One of the jewelers they feature is Tabra Tunoa and I understand she is winding down as a maker of jewelry herself, so now is the time to find that special piece. They have some pretty pieces of jewelry, but the young gal that works there seemed more interested in visiting with her friend than helping us out (the only customers in the store). My grandma even whispered to me, "this person never works here...there's usually someone else that is willing to help." I would give them zero stars if that were an option. First, I will say that their selection of jewelry is impressive. They have many nice pieces from designers I like. Fortunately, you can find these same designers in other stores, which I would recommend to anyone looking to buy jewelry. I went into the store with my husband and daughter a few weeks ago while visiting Folsom. There was a necklace I liked in the window by the designer Holly Yashi. I specifically asked the woman if the chain was sterling silver, primarily because I cannot wear plated jewelry as my skin reacts poorly to it. She was adamant that it was sterling and even though she could not locate the .925 stamp, promised that it was sterling. She actually seemed annoyed that I'd asked and made her look for the .925 stamp. After I got home, I wore the necklace for 2 hours and my neck turned red. I went onto the Holly Yashi website and sure enough, 90% of the necklaces they sell to go with their pendants are silver-plated. I then called a rep for Holly Yashi who confirmed this. If a piece of jewelry is made from precious metal, it is marked as such. Either the saleslady was desperate for a sale or completely ignorant about the jewelry she peddles. I sent a note to Rainbow Bridge's Customer Service about this and asked for a refund, and (small surprise) got no response. This was 2 weeks ago. I even left my phone number. Nothing. Now I have a $73 necklace that I cannot wear. Do not give this business your money. It seems to me that they will say anything to make a sale, but lack the integrity or honesty back up their merchandise or provide decent customer service. read more

My family has been going to Rainbow Bridge Jewelers for over 20 years. They have a beautiful assortment of jewelry and a wonderful staff. I have never purchased anything online as I've always just gone into the store. I moved out of Folsom so I decided to purchase my mom's birthday gift from their website. I was shocked to received a shipping notification the same day and had it in my mailbox the next! It was beautifully wrapped with some pretty and fun ribbons to match. I'm always escited when I see a gifty from my husband in that little gold box (which I happen to prefer to the little blue box). This is one of my favorite places to shop in the Sacramento area. They have a beautiful selection of unique jewelry designs in every price range. I primarily go here for their Tabra selection (GORGEOUS artisan and mostly one-of-a-kind jewelry line). But I've also purchased gifts here from other jewelry designers. They really take the time to hand-select the best items here, so your eyes just dart around the shop from one gorgeous piece to the next. The people at this shop are really lovely. The owners are very friendly and helpful. And most of the other staff have been there for years, know everything about the jewelry designers and different stones, and will give you honest helpful advice. You will get amazing personal service here. They do all kinds of fun shopping events and trunk shoes too, where they feature certain jewelry designers and offer discounts as well. Perhaps the best thing about this jewelry store is that they give back to the community with lots of fundraising events for Weave, etc. And they feature jewelry-designers who give back too (like Tabra!). This place is totally unique which is what you want as you don't want to look like everyone else yet you don't want to appear too out of the box as well. It was so hard to decide what to get. I narrowed my choices to two items which I purchased. A gorgeous handmade necklace and earrings. Very colorful and artistic. The first day I wore the earrings at UCLA, one of the bottom part completely came off from the hook. I was left with the hook still in my ear! I was sad to see one earring and the other is gone. I wrote to them and they immediately sent me one earring to replace the one that was disconnected. So now I have beautiful earrings I can wear in both ears. I took professional photos at the Griffith Observatory with both the necklace and earrings and received so many compliments on it. I will post a picture of my necklace. I contacted them about an issue I had with a bracelet I had purchased at a jewelry store in Virginia. I had lost a stone from the bracelet, returned to the store where I purchased it and they were no help. I went online to find someone that sold this particular brand and found Rainbow Bridge. I emailed them with my issue. They responded immediately with information on how to contact the company and assured me they thought the manufacturer would repair the item.
