This place is happening. People getting coffees, donuts, breakfast and other baked good items. Bought a dozen donuts and man they were tasty and definitely fresh. Forgot what a good donut tasted like. Ample parking, open 24 hours with friendly service. Ambiance more to pick up n leave. No tables and chairs to sit for a minute or two, but oh well, worth coming back for sure.

Love this place. They have a huge selection, even at 11 am. The donuts are soft, large and absolutely delicious. The staff is helpful and polite. Place is clean and has many drink choices as well as breakfast sandwiches. Check them out. My kids and I love the donuts here.

I have passed by Rainbow Donuts countless times over the years. I don't even know how long this place has been here, but I know that it's been for quite some time. Recently, I finally had a chance to stop by to see what this place had to offer. This how it all began for me! I took an earlier train into Norwalk one morning and decided to stop by to grab a few donuts. It was about 5:20AM when I arrived. What surprised me the most was the amount of people in this shop at this early hour of the morning. I couldn't believe the number of people that were coming and going from this little shop. However, Rainbow Donuts is in a prime location when you really think about it. Metrolink's station is just down the street from the donut shop. So riders, just like myself, more than likely stop by on their way to or from work. Also, the courthouse is across the street, so people serving on a jury might stop by as well. I also saw a lot of Metro employees at the shop on that particular morning. What I like about this place is that they have a nice variety of donuts. They aren't over the top, just simple and sweet. Of course, you'll find they typical powdered sugar, donut holes, sprinkled donuts, and glazed donuts. They do have some that are topped with cereal as well as some red velvet classics. They also have hot drinks: cocoa and coffee etc. The refrigerator is stocked with teas, water, juice, and soda. You can even buy a lotto ticket from the machine if you're feeling lucky. The donuts taste better when they're freshly baked each morning. That's typical of any donut shop though. They're actually still pretty good if you swing by after 3PM as well. Simple and sweet is how I like it! I like that the ladies that work here are very personable. They know who their regular customers are and they know what they like. I also like the rapport that they have with their customers. I felt very welcomed here and have been back several times since my first visit. I really like Rainbow Donuts because it's straight to the point and their donuts are delicious. There are no bells and whistles with this place, just great donuts that satisfy your appetite. They have other items on the menu too, but I am a donut person so that's all that I've had a chance to try. I definitely like this place and love stopping by on my way to work or on the way back to the station to catch the next train. Check it out for yourself and see what Rainbow Donuts has to offer.

Late night craving for a sweet tooth. Rainbow Donuts and Food app to the rescue. Most late night donuts are understandably a little on the stale side. Not these morsels. Fresh airy moist and packed with flavor. The carrot cake is a must try. Light and tasty. This was a food delivery so I cannot rate the ambiance or in person services. But judging by the quality of the product I imagine that they will not disappoint.

I rate donut shops on one donut, and one donut alone. Maples Bars. Make a good Maple Bar, and I'll be a fan for life. Rainbow Donuts is pretty decent. The donut itself wasn't overly fluffy but not overly dense either. The maple frosting was fairly thin on top and pretty much set as it was breaking off in chunks. Now, that doesn't make it taste any worse, just makes it a challenge to eat with maple falling onto the table, or driver's seat if you're eating while driving. The maple flavor was pretty good, which just does show you don't need a lot of frosting to get that maple taste. The donut part of the donut was pretty consistent from the first bite to the last. This is rare as sometimes the edges are overbaked making them a little too crispy. The service and price were what you would expect from an independent donut shop. They did sell California lottery tickets and had sold a few tickets that netted more than $1. That was fun to see.

I was craving some late night donuts. Husband went and got me a Cinnamon Toast Crunch and sprinkles. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut was such a disappointment. The cereal tasted so stale. This is my first time trying it but I don't think it should taste like that. It was disgusting I was unable to finish it. It looked better than it tasted. The sprinkles donut was just okay it tasted kind of old. Unfortunately I don't think I would come back. I did not finish either of my donuts and it just ruined my craving. I only put 2 stars because my husband said the staff was nice. As for taste it would only be a 1 star for me, it left me with a weird nasty after taste.

Pretty solid donut shop. I stopped by after I had some business to take care of out here. The first time I got a bacon an egg breakfast bagel sandwich which quieted my stomach down. The second time I ordered a half dozen donuts to go and they were all really fresh and delicious. They were also still pretty fresh the next day as well so double plus. It's a simple donut shop. Pretty decent prices. The ladies are all sweet when you walk in. Not a bad spot. Next time I'll give the coffee a try.

I ordered m&m donuts on DoorDash and was very disappointed when received. The picture on DoorDash showed a fully topped donut and I got a sad batch with barely any m&m. I wouldn't complain if I were just going eat these at home but it's for a birthday and I'm embarrassed

Great spot for some late night donut delivery! I love a powdered jelly and the lemon old fashioned was fantastic! The cake donuts were not my favorite of all the cake donuts I have had, but will absolutely be back for the lemon old fashioned!

When I was younger, my dad would take me to Rainbow Donuts in Westminster. It was only fitting that I bring a box from a shop with the same name to my dad on my visit to his new home. ...ok and yes, I've been going on a low-carb diet for a few days and was really craving for some donuts! Killing two birds with one stone, right?? I was warmly greeted by a younger gentleman behind the counter. I got the chance to chat with him after asking for some recommendations on their most popular items. Turns out, he is the son of the owner. Like many mom and pop shops, this donut store also got hit by COVID back in March 2020. The son had helped his parents set up a delivery service for their donut shop. I was moved after hearing the dedication and commitment this family had. The son went on forums for his research, read up on how to set up online and phone deliveries, to learning how to properly package the items to preserve quality of the donuts and food. It was truly an inspiring story. The donuts here are not just your average donuts. They have a variety of specialty ones like blueberry cake, fruit loops, fruity pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, huge cinnamon rolls, tiger claws, red velvet --all looked amazing and IG-worthy for photos!! I ended up getting a dozen and tried them all with my dad. All were moist and tasted fresh. The shop is also known for their breakfast croissant. I opted for the sausage, eggs, and bacon. They do not skimp out on the meats!! Most places I've been to give a thin layer of eggs and one piece of bacon, not here! I'm very happy this place is starting to get recognized from all the online orders. Come try them for yourself, you definitely won't be disappointed! Oh! And another fun fact I learned when I was here: all the Rainbow Donuts are owned by a different family member (ex. Uncle, cousin, aunt, etc.). They don't have the same recipe or same types of donuts, but the owners are all related. Pretty cool huh?

Great coffee, that alone worth it. But their fleshly made breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Donuts are good. Great one stop shop.

Knead Donuts, located in the bustling Cerritos Promenade, has been serving artisan donuts in the city for several years, now. I'm not a big donut guy, saving them for a rare treat or when they're offered at an event. Alas, sometimes, you just gotta satisfy that sweet tooth. Strawberry Crunch- Highly enjoyable, topped with a slice of fresh strawberry, the Strawberry Crunch didn't feel as guilty as a double chocolate covered everything donut. The crumbs sprinkled on top providing texture to the fluffy donut, and I was quite happy with my pick. My initial visit was a 2 years ago. On my more recent occasion, I stopped by to see what's new. Knead closes at 1pm on weekdays (Monday closed, till 9pm Sat & Sun), and being approximately 30 minutes to close, two boxes of assorted donuts were left to choose from. Knead's Dubai Chocolate donut was a whopping $8! I tried to haggle the price down, both individually or with another donut, to no avail. No way was I planning to buy a whole box, either. Prices vary around $6-$8. Aware prices have gone up everywhere, that's still too much, in my summation, for donuts. In addition, not being a big donut guy, I don't foresee being a frequent customer. Knead Donuts does sell beautifully crafted donuts, which would satisfy even the most critical sugar junkie, but with premium pricing attached to each donut, can't justify the money spent, for my needs.

Cherri's Donuts was sitting around the corner so it was an easy stop before returning home. I picked a couple of favs: Apple Twist & Cinnamon, & they're huge! I also added Boston Cream Donut, Croissant Donut, & Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles, & the owner threw in a Blueberry Cake Donut. Whoohoo! When we got home, M's Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles was missing. I went through the bag to check the contents & found that I was charged correctly even though my son's pick wasn't in the bag. I saw that it was set aside but didn't make it in the bag. It was fine since we had several pounds worth from just 5. Even though it's late in the day, the donuts were fresh but not "hot off the fryer" fresh. It's debatable which was best: Apple Twist or Cinnamon Roll. The twist was fluffy & soft, with bits of cinnamony apple filling & a light sweet glaze for some added sugary goodness overload. The roll was a tad heavier, but still fluffy with cinnamon swirled through the pastry & topped with the same sweet glaze. M was sad that his pick was missing, & made do with a tasting of the Blueberry Cake Donut & Croissant Donut. He liked it, but still wanted his vanilla cake; he's haunted by the rainbow sprinkles. Like fellow Elite Vince V. parody sings... donuts the size of boulders... every day that I adore you! It's a bit of a drive, but if I'm in this neck of the woods... I'm walking right on over! I would never want to lower the rating for this place - Cherri's Donuts in Santa Fe Springs - but…read moreI'm doing this for something other than their food or service. In driving out to the Coachella Valley desert towns from LAX, I made the habitual stop here. Not buying donuts for anyone on this visit, the stop was to satisfy my donut craving. I also had to use "a" restroom. They don't have one. I snuck into a nearby store I didn't patronize to do so. Thank God the code feature was not functioning at that time. On the outbound trip, I ordered a double chocolate, a strawberry frosted, and an orange frosted donut. I shouldn't have done that, but I love Cherri's Donuts's donuts. Those three donuts were lunch. In fact, I stopped in again on my way back to the Los Angeles area and got a strawberry frosted and an orange frosted donut. On this stop, they made for breakfast. I'm enamored of their orange frosted donut more so than anything else. With the social dynamics and related have-have not problems in SoCal, it seems businesses are guarding their restrooms more vigilantly ... or not providing restrooms at all. I also think that Cherri's Donuts probably serves a local clientele living within a 5 mile radius. They don't think that someone driving to and from LAX might make it a donut pit stop and also need to make a restroom stop. The employees here are reliably pleasant. There is also a small parking lot behind there store, so I used it instead of parking by the curb since I had luggage stored in the back of the vehicle. With the 605 and the 5 intersecting nearby, one needs to get into the correct lane for the Telegraph Road exit fairly quickly. However, for their donuts, you'll manage and you'll do it.
