I've come here a few times because I live in the neighborhood and am Hispanic so I like to support small businesses but I will gladly drive a further distance to a place with better customer service. I brought a dress that needed a slight hem and it had been a day so I didn't have heels- the person at the register just said "You didn't bring shoes? How are we supposed to know how much to take off?" and topped it off with a good laugh. It was so condescending and they weren't able to help out anyways because they didn't have the fabric for the dress but mostly you just never know what type of day someone is having so laughing at a simple mistake and talking down to someone is never a win. read more

We had been using this dry cleaners for years (10+). I am not sure what happened but in the last few months they've been really awful. They put a hole on one of my husband's cashmere sweaters. We were the ones who found it. We complained and they wouldn't get back to him. They "repaired" the hole without consulting us and the fix was unacceptable. After a month of my husband calling for a refund, my husband planted himself at the store until they gave him some compensation. Today I discovered a Christmas robe still in the dry cleaners bag washed around the same time as the sweater. The white fur is now pink. I know I should have checked sooner, especially after what happened to the sweater. At this point I don't even want to bother complaining anymore. Do not use these people!! read more

The people were rude and when I picked up the dress they said nothing about not being about not being able to properly clean it and when I went to take off the plastic to wear it, it was stained and not washed at all. As a faithful customer of almost 2 years for alterations, I'm done. I simply wanted a custom made dress from another country & continent, to be made into a 2 piece (top & skirt) adding a black ruffle to the bottom of the newly constructed top. What I got was a beautiful top BUT NO SKIRT, because she misunderstood my instructions to her, and discarded the bottom portion of my beautiful one of kind dress! To add insult to injury, the always rude, always slick-mouthed, always impatient, always abrasive attitude Elena, actually expected for me to pay the full price for this HUGE debacle! I was actually dropping off, 5 more items for alterations, I politely paid, but took the rest of my items back home. I travel aLLLLLLL the way from St. Pete Beach, for the services of Mila the seamstress, she needs a translator app and needs to actually USE IT! I have ZERO reasons to ever go back there again. I can't risk the chance of another massive mistake, that they'd expect for me to pay for! I'm beyond disappointed!!! FYI & BTW: Of course I didn't receive an apology. Had an alteration done ... a week to hem a pair of jeans ... my ticket said pickup on Wednesday at 5pm but they closed early for Thanksgiving at 3pm. when I picked up my jeans she did not apologize or say anything about the mixup. This place is a disgrace to the community. I purchased two pants from a discount store and needed to have them hemmed. The charged me $49.45 for the two pants. The pants were only $6. each. They didn't tell me the price when I dropped them off. I feel I should have been told of the extreme over pricing. They didn't even seem to care of my dissatisfaction with them. This is not the first time this happened. They told (Ana, another dissatisfied costumer with the same issue) their prices were competitive. LOL. This is borderline criminal. Why 4 stars? Because they got the job done. --- --- --- While moving to Carrollwood a few months ago, I noticed that my high school letter jacket had been pretty damaged from sitting in my outdoor shed at my old house. The black leather sleeves looked to be permanently stained with something that looked like green pollen. I couldn't get it to come off, and knew I needed a professional. But you might ask - why did I need my letter jacket to be fixed? I didn't even like high school very much. Well, my grandpa kept his letter jacket framed in the basement, and I always thought it was the coolest thing. I also worked for 3.5 years to earn its, I figured I should probably keep it around for a while. You might also ask - what sport did you play to earn your letter? I didn't. I got it via being enough plays in Theater classes. Yep, I was the COOLEST. But enough about me. It cost me about $60, and took a couple weeks. I was obviously in no hurry, as I didn't have any school dances coming up. It sounded a little pricey, but they caught me at a good moment. So now my jacket looks as good as new, and I have enough closet space in my new house to keep it inside. Everybody wins. read more

This place is a rip off. They charge $2.50 to to dry clean a dress shirt however if your a big guy like myself they charge an additional $2.75 for the larger size. First off they don't have that listed anywhere indicating there will be a surcharge. When I mentioned that there is no sign stating that and that I should not be charged their response was next time we will give you 5% off Really ??? Wow where am going to spend that extra 12.5 cents ??? I switched over from McNutt's on account every time I indicated no starch or very light starch , I get a shirt back that was so hard n rigid I could've made boxes out of them. And this happened 3x before I lost it and my NY attitude came out. The only Rainbow here is from the wealth of $$ pouring in from this racket. read more

I was recommended this place by a friend who was happy with alterations done here. I took several things to be dry cleaned and 3 items to be altered; holes in shorts mended, re-hemming on some pants, and replacing elastic on a shirt. I brought them on Saturday and was told they would be ready by Tuesday, which they were. They also gave me $5 off for being a first time customer and everything was cleaned and altered really well. I didn't get a rundown on the price of everything but I know my clothes are in good hands when I bring them here. read more

TOO EXPENSIVE and mediocre quality. I normally don't write negative reviews, but when I feel I've been ripped off, I will voice my opinion. I decided to try to them out, because I was in the area and they aren't too far from my home. Plus, they also provide alterations and I had a couple items that needed a simple mending. My grand total was almost $120 for everything...$120!! I thought it was a joke! I've taken twice that amount to competitors and have never paid anywhere near that, so this blew me away. My complaints: 1) Too expensive 2) 3 of the 8 dry cleaned items were wrinkled when I picked them up. They offered to re-steam them, but I would have to come back to get them later?! Why weren't they done right the first time? I said, 'forget it!" 3) The mending was done very poorly...I'm going to have to take 2 of the 3 items to my regular seamstress to have them mended properly...more money! 4) They charged me to clean two of the mended items...which I asked them not to clean. They are just jeans...my washer does a fine enough job. Needless to say, this will be the last time I use their service. read more

Best place hands down! My daughter had homecoming this past weekend. We ordered her dress on line and it did not arrive until Thursday (Homecoming was SATURDAY!). It was too BIG! In panic mode, I contacted Eddies and was greeted with kindness and they told me to bring the dress in asap so they could see what they could do. It took completely re-designing the back of the dress by removing the zipper entirely and removing the cute little buttons down the back, in order to alter for it to fit. Mila did an outstanding job! Not only did she alter it perfectly, the decorative buttons were reattached as well! You could not even tell it had been altered. They completely saved us in the 9th hour! Dropped the dress off on Thursday evening right before they closed and it was ready Friday afternoon! Best SERVICE ever!!!! Thank you so much for coming through for us! Very over-priced! I went to rainbow dry cleaners for the first and last time. I had several dresses that needed to be dry cleaned and it ended up costing me more than the actual price of the dress! There were tons of hidden upcharges that I did not ask for. Charged me to 'remove lent' from the dresses, 'multipule layers,' etc. One dress cost me $15 to dry clean! When I brought this to their attention all I got was, oh sorry. No chance for a discount or even a sincere apology to try to keep my business. There are lots of dry cleaners in the area that would be happy for my business. Needless to say, I will not be back! read more

My items were a completed a day late, and it was super over priced. They don't give you a price break down beforehand and the alteration work was piss poor. Warning awful place I just picked up my daughters concert dress, I got it dry cleaned and hemmed.Awful service please do not go here very expensive it cost me $40. They did an awful job on the hemmed it looks like a five-year-old did it. Also the manager I guess Rich... Terrible customer service.
